Her eyes sparkled brilliantly, clear and pure like crystal, mirroring the breathtaking view before her.

Alicia was stunned.

She found herself on the roof of a 50-story building, the view sprawling endlessly before her.

Caden was leaning casually against the handrail, his smile partially obscuring the vista.

Behind him stood a grand and beautiful castle, identical to the model they had put together in the office just hours before.

Alicia’s mouth fell open in amazement, the sound of her own heartbeat filling her ears.

“Caden,” she uttered, overwhelmed and at a loss for words, able to speak only the name of her beloved.

Caden’s lips curled into a smile, delighting in her reaction.

“Do you like it?”

Alicia was at a loss to express how she was feeling.

The gift he presented was like a treasure chest, each layer unveiling another surprise.

Caden stepped closer, draping his arm around her slender waist.

Their foreheads touched, their eyes locked intently on each other as if they were merging into one.

“Do you like it?” Caden asked again.

Alicia nodded, her response punctuated by a single tear rolling down her cheek.

“I love it, Caden. I really love it.”

Above them, the drone ascended and moved away in a neat manner.

Off in the distance, a skyscraper illuminated, displaying a massive billboard.

Alicia read the message.

“Marry me, Alicia.”

The giant letters scrolled continuously across the screen, captured by the drone’s camera for everyone to see this grand proposal.

Fireworks burst overhead, illuminating the night sky.

Caden’s lips hovered close to hers.

“Marry me, Alicia,” he said with certainty and determination.

This wasn’t merely a question of if she would marry him.

It was a commitment he was declaring.

He was firmly determined that Alicia would marry him.

Tears already streaked Alicia’s face, her emotions constricting her throat.

Her heart was already in agreement, but she found herself unable to express the words.

Alicia gripped her clothes, overwhelmed and tearful.

“Why did you have to catch me off guard like this? I look so ordinary, and now I’ll appear awful in the video.”

Caden nearly burst into laughter.

He gently cradled her face, weaving his fingers through hers.

Alicia felt an unexpected sensation on her ring finger.

Lifting her hand, she saw a large diamond that dazzled intensely.

Its lavishness was almost overwhelming.

Tears poured down Alicia’s face, and she said with endearment, “You’ve caught me off guard again!”

Why would she cry so hard when she was happy?

Alicia couldn’t make sense of it.

She should be laughing at such a perfect moment, hugging Caden tightly, and kissing him forever.

Instead, she found herself crying.

Caden, troubled by her relentless tears, kept wiping them away and eventually kissed them off her cheeks.

He whispered, “Can you stop crying for a moment? You haven’t given me an answer yet.”

Alicia looked into his eyes, unable to stop her tears.

“I adore the castle and the massive screen you set up for me. The fireworks were stunning, and the ring is lovely, though it’s a bit too large and heavy.”

Caden felt she was on the verge of adding something less favorable.

“What more do you need, Ms. Bennett?” he joked, a playful note in his voice.

Alicia’s cheeks turned pink at his jest.

She let out a burp before saying, “You still need to get down on one knee.”

Proposals traditionally involve kneeling.

Alicia was eager to see him kneel.

Caden had thought about this aspect of the proposal.

However, he was hesitant to kneel before anyone.

“A man should kneel only for something of great value. How about I kneel on our wedding day?”

Alicia said logically, “Shouldn’t you kneel for the woman you love? I believe our love is more precious than anything of great value.”

She was skeptical of his promise to kneel on their wedding day.

When the time came, there would likely be many excuses.

Caden gazed at her intently, his Adam’s apple moving.

“Is it just for the woman I love?”

Alicia, feeling a bit playful, responded, “What else? A group of admirers?”

“I want my fianc?e.”

His words were gentle, and they softened Alicia’s heart.

She studied his features closely.

His handsome nose grazed her, and his deep eyes were captivating, like a siren’s call.

They ensnared her completely.

He intended for her to fall irrevocably, beyond any hope of escape.

Caden’s lips gently touched her forehead.

His kisses brushed softly over her eyelids and cheeks.

Eventually, they landed on her tender lips.

“Marry me, Alicia.”

As Caden intertwined their tongues, he repeated, “Marry me.”

Each phrase struck her deeply, embedding itself into her very essence.

Overpowered by his forceful presence, she melted completely.

Rejection was not an option.

Breathing softly against his lips, she murmured, “Caden…”

Alicia’s resistance was feeble, torn between wanting to push him away and wanting to yield.

“Why do you continue to charm me like this? It’s not fair.”

Caden intensified their kiss, awakening a longing deep within her.

Already captivated by him, her body stood no chance against his embrace.

Alicia could only watch as her defenses fell away, one by one.

“Marry me,” Caden urged her, his voice filled with desire.

Opening her lips, now flushed with a bright red, Alicia felt as if her spirit was dissolving away.
