Yael said, “I got engaged at midnight today.”

Beata nodded vigorously and then pulled out the necklace hidden beneath her collar.

Above, there was a ring.

River didn’t know what to say.

He was really angry and had a headache.

His gaze fell on the finger without a ring and he was speechless again.

River was certainly aware of this ring. He was very clear about Yael’s every move, so naturally he knew when he prepared this ring.

However, Yael had already obtained the ring a year ago but never gave it to Beata.

River also forgot about the existence of this ring.

Who would have thought that Yael, this bastard, would pull such a trick on him.

River couldn’t hold back anymore and picked up the pillow next to him, throwing it at Yael.

“Okay! You’re really something!” River was so angry that he couldn’t speak properly for a while. It took him a long time to calm down and say, “Stealing my sister like this, don’t you have a conscience?”

Beata laughed out of sync and felt sorry for it, but she couldn’t help it.

What else could it be? Beata was telling him that without anyone’s help, she walked towards Yael on her own initiative.

River pinched his forehead and really didn’t want to speak anymore at the moment.

The onlookers who had been watching the show while eating popcorn finally couldn’t hold back their laughter and burst out laughing together.

Everyone knew what Beata’s 20th birthday meant, and many still gave River some face by not poking at his heart in front of him.

Now, the one who hit the hardest was Beata.

Miles was truly very generous and restrained. He did not add insult to injury when Beata proposed to get a certificate.

At this moment, he still wanted to stab River in the heart.

Miles said, “As the older brother, you should be more sensible. If I were you, I would give the necessary document to my younger sister right now.”

River narrowed his eyes and stared at Miles.

However, he no longer had any killing intent now.

Miles felt nothing when he was stared at like that, instead he laughed even more recklessly.

River was speechless.

For Beata’s birthday, it should just be her and Yael celebrating however they wanted to, without any interference from others.

Now it was really difficult for him to express his suffering.

The cruise ship departed at noon, and everyone was making noise until late into the night before returning to their rooms to rest. Beata and Yael had a room on their own floor, which Beata had arranged beforehand. Everyone understood this and didn’t make fun of them.

When they got back to the room, Beata hung onto Yael immediately.

Yael held her up and asked softly, “Are you tired?”

Beata shook her head and said, “I just didn’t expect it would be so late.”

Yael said, “Let’s take a shower first and go to bed early.”

Beata stepped back a bit when she heard this. She looked at Yael’s face with furrowed brows and asked him, “Do you mean you don’t want it anymore?”

Yael replied calmly, “It’s too late now. You need rest.”

“I don’t want that,” Beata pouted. “You refused me before. I’ve been waiting for today for so long! And now we’re even one day behind schedule! You can’t deny me again!”

As she spoke these words with grievance in her voice, she thought about how over the past two years she had gone from being timidly shy to really wanting him badly enough that she tried everything possible to get him to break his promise. But he was stubbornly sticking by his word.

Beata was almost furious now, after waiting so long for this momentous occasion on her birthday only for everyone else playing around until 2 am in the morning.

But Beata wasn’t ungrateful either – everyone came out here just for her birthday celebration – how could she abandon them all just because of herself?

Now they were back in their room with only each other there. And Beata was really getting serious about it.

It was already two hours later than planned time-wise; if Yael still wanted to delay things further, then surely he knew what kind of reaction he would get from her.

Her lips pursed as tears welled up in her eyes looking at Yael as if asking, “Is it because I’m not attractive enough? Is that why you don’t want me?”

Yael looked helplessly at Beate knowing full well how much effort he put into resisting temptation every day over these last two years, but also understanding that one more night wouldn’t hurt anyone.

Not hearing Yael’s voice, Beata felt even more aggrieved.

She sniffed, and tears fell down.

“Am I the type that mature men like you like, am I… uh…”

Beata hadn’t finished speaking before her mouth was covered.

She widened her eyes, but with too many tears falling, she couldn’t see Yael’s expression clearly.

All she could feel was how fierce Yael’s kiss was, unlike any other kiss they had shared. His rough movements even caused Beata some pain.

This made Beata a little scared and confused by Yael’s sudden aggression.

However, Yael didn’t give Beata a chance to back away. He picked her up and carried her to the bed without hesitation.

As soon as Beata’s back touched the soft mattress, her mind turned into like a mush. She couldn’t see or hear anything except for the weight of his body on hers.

Her small hands instinctively tried to push him away but were held firmly by Yael’s grip.

Beata could faintly hear him say, “Don’t cry.”

Beata really didn’t want to cry, but Yael’s actions were too harsh.

It was really too fierce.

When she used to write novels, she would feel like she was floating on the surface of the sea, with ups and downs, unable to find a focal point to focus on. She could only let herself be controlled by the winds and waves, sinking and floating.

In the erotic article, she wrote more explicitly, portraying every aspect and atmosphere to perfection.

Some readers praised Beata’s articles, which will let them immerse in it, and will want to try it with their boyfriends or husbands.

However, the fact now told Beata that what she wrote down without experiencing it was really very childish, very immature, and very unrealistic.

When she truly experienced it herself, she realized how wonderful the process was.

Beata didn’t even know how to describe this feeling.

Of course, what Beata couldn’t even imagine was that she would actually put this into practice on the sea.

The cruise ship was very stable, but Beata still felt like a small boat on the sea.

The wind and waves were given by Yael, and safety was also given by Yael.

She was experiencing a complex mix of danger and safety, and every second felt like a roller- coaster ride.

It was impossible not to cry.

Beata hadn’t cried so bitterly in years.

However, she couldn’t control herself at all.

She begged Yael for mercy, but Yael was like an angry leopard that fiercely hunted her down.

Beata was carried by Yael into the bathroom, exhausted and not knowing how many hours had passed.

Yael put her in the bathtub, but she wanted to sleep and felt like closing her eyes.

Beata regretted it, really regretted it.

She shouldn’t have tried to show off her abilities. Even if it meant exhausting herself, she was determined to get this thing done.

Now, all she wanted was for someone to whack her in the back of the neck and put her straight to sleep.

She had never seen a woman more miserable than her.

Yael was actually regretting it too. He really didn’t control himself, didn’t hold back, and didn’t take care of Beata’s situation.

Perhaps it was the inherent wickedness of men that when a girl was “bullied” to the point of misery, what he wanted to do was become even more vicious.

However, seeing Beata looking so pitiful now, Yael also truly felt sorry for her.

After cleaning up Beata, Yael picked her up and put her back on the bed.

However, Yael still blow-dried her hair before letting herself go to sleep.

During the process, Beata finally felt very aggrieved and lifted her weak arm to wave at Yael.

However, she had no strength left, and Yael’s body was as hard as steel, so she beat him with no pain, but hurt her hand instead.

Yael was so distressed that he brought his arm to Beata’s mouth, letting her bite it out.

Beata didn’t have much strength in her mouth, but she really bit Yael hard, and she didn’t let go until her teeth were sour.

Finally, Beata was able to vent her grievances. Yael blow-dried her hair and coaxed her to go to bed.

At the moment, Beata didn’t need Yael to coax her to sleep. Once she got hold of a pillow, she slept soundly.

Yael wasn’t sleepy at all, so he propped himself up on his arm and gazed at Beata’s sleeping face with an unprecedented sense of contentment.

Yesterday at midnight, he proposed, but it wasn’t actually planned by Yael.
