Chapter 631 – I Got Married Without You Novel

Filed to story: I Got Married Without You

“It means she never loved me. Someone who doesn’t love me won’t come back.”

Andrew didn’t respond, he just propped his chin up and tilted his head slightly to look at him.

Paul stared at the candy for a while, then raised his head and asked Andrew.

“Do you think I’m at fault?”

Andrew blinked his eyelashes slightly, and in his cold eyes, there was a sense of insight into the world. “Yes, you are at fault.”

Paul looked at him, puzzled.

“What did I do wrong?”

“A long time ago, I told you not to play around.”

But Paul, he was indiscriminate when it came to women.

How could Eva, who came from an orphanage and longed for a stable family, dare to be with him?

Looking into Andrew’ clear and bright eyes, Paul seemed to understand something…

“So, it’s because of my past actions that she doesn’t love me…”

“She’s afraid.”

Afraid?

What is there to be afraid of when it comes to loving someone?

Paul remained noncommittal, feeling that Eva simply didn’t love him.

So, Paul, it’s time to wake up and let go of someone who doesn’t love you.

With this in mind, Paul unwrapped a piece of candy and put it in his mouth. It should have been sweet, but he tasted a bitter undertone.

After finishing the candy, he decided to let go of Eva and their complicated and painful past.

Once he swallowed the candy, he pushed aside any thoughts he shouldn’t have and lifted his head, smiling at Andrew.

“Brother, I promise you, from now on, I’ll work hard like you and stop messing around.”

He seemed to have grown up all of a sudden, and his words were much more composed than before.

Andrew stared at this new version of Paul for a while before continuing the conversation.

“If you really want to work hard, then come learn management with me.”

Andrew thought he would have to persuade Paul, but to his surprise, Paul didn’t resist at all and simply nodded.

“Once I can move, give me more work to do.”

Andrew knew that Paul was using work to numb himself, so he wouldn’t feel the pain anymore, just like Andrew used to…

Thinking of how Paul was always there for him, caring for him when he was falling apart, Andrew reached out and placed his hand on Paul’s shoulder.

“You will get what you want, don’t rush it.”

He gently patted Paul’s shoulder.

“The person who hurt you will pay the price.”

With those words, Andrew got up and left.

Andrey, waiting at the door, handed him a wet wipe.

“Mr. Evans, Jayden is at Stella’s hospital.”

Andrew nodded slightly and, accompanied by a group of bodyguards, headed straight to Stella’s hospital and then called Jayden into the director’s office. Jayden, with several layers of bandages on the back of his hand, pushed open the door to the director’s office and saw Andrew dressed in a black suit. The man sat on the edge of the desk, his figure tall and straight. His hands were in his pockets, and his slightly turned profile was perfectly proportioned as if sculpted. With flawless beauty, deep and three-dimensional features, and a face that resembled a painting, he was God’s favorite.

And yet, this favored child exuded a noble and elegant aura with every move, just like Paul. It was an innate quality.

Upon seeing Andrew, Jayden couldn’t help but admit that he felt inferior in front of Paul and intimidated in front of Andrew. “Do you know why I called for you?”

With a cold tone and an icy aura, Andrew’s oppressive presence overwhelmed Jayden.

Jayden raised his eyes to meet Andrew’s gaze and felt a sense of killing intent from those star-like eyes.

“I know.”

Under the cold gaze of the man, Jayden, feeling the pressure, tightened his fists and took a step forward, walking up to Andrew. “Mr. Evans called for me, is it to seek revenge for Paul?”

The gaze beneath Andrew’ long and thick eyelashes was filled with a penetrating power that could pierce one’s heart.

“It’s not about revenge, I just want to ask Jayden how he intends to resolve the matter of intentionally provoking Paul.” Andrew’ deep and piercing gaze was filled with strong aggression.

Jayden couldn’t sustain a prolonged gaze with such eyes, and after only a few seconds, he instinctively averted his gaze. “Is it necessary for Mr. Evans to intervene in such a small matter?”

Jayden felt uneasy inside, but he maintained a nonchalant expression on his face.

He knew very well that he was Eva’s boyfriend, so no matter what he did to Paul, Andrew wouldn’t lay a hand on him.

Taking into account Rosalyn, he would give Eva a bit of leeway, allowing him to speak provocatively.

Andrew seemed to be able to see through his thoughts, as his thick eyelashes fluttered slightly, and a disdainful smile appeared in his beautiful eyes.

“I’ve always taken care of his matters since he was young. Any objections?”

“I dare not.”

Jayden shook his head, while also revealing a contemptuous smile.

“Having a good big brother is nice.”

His contempt was directed towards Paul. He believed that someone like Paul, a playboy, only lived under the protection of his family.

If Paul didn’t have his family background or his looks and height, he wouldn’t even be worth a single finger compared to him. It was a delusion for him to try to steal Eva.

His disdain didn’t stir any emotions in Andrew’ eyes. He didn’t even want to explain further as it would be meaningless.
