“Victoria, your son hit Jenarth, and he openly broke the school’s rules. And you think you can just walk away without so much as an apology?”

She reached out and clutched Carter’s arm. “Carter, I don’t care who she is. I won’t let them treat my Jenarth this way and get away with it.”

Carter listened, his eyes drifting to Jenarth, who looked pale and weak in Isabella’s arms. Then he looked at Robert, who was buzzing with energy next to Victoria. In his mind, it was clear – Victoria’s jealousy had driven Robert to target Jenarth.

“Isabella, this is my fault. I never should have let Jenarth be in the same class as Robert,” Carter said, a flicker of guilt crossing his face. He turned a stern gaze to Victoria. “Victoria, apologize to Isabella. Robert, get over here and apologize to Jenarth right now!”

Victoria tightened her grip on Robert’s hand, her voice dripping with scorn. “Carter, shut your mouth. You have no right to give me or

Robert orders. You’re… unbelievably stupid.”

Hearing Victoria insult Carter so publicly, Isabella raised her voice sharply. “Victoria, without the Myers family’s protection, how did you end up like this? Even if you don’t care about yourself, think about your son! Is saying ‘sorry’ really that difficult?”

Victoria met her glare, her own eyes turning to ice.

“If Eaton expels Robert, no reputable school in Capaville will take him. Or are you gonna drag him back to your rural hometown for school?”

Rural hometown!

So Victoria really did come from some rural place! The other parents, already biased against her, now looked at her with pure disgust.

They instinctively took a step back, as if afraid her poverty might be contagious.

Just then, the growl of car engines cut through the tension.

People looked up to see a line of matching cars with distinctive license plates pulling up toward Eaton Kindergarten.

The vehicles were identical, their plates sequential. The big parade got everyone’s attention.

Carter, Isabella, and Tracy all turned to see what was happening.

“Wait… aren’t those the cars from Sunny Kindergarten?” a sharp-eyed parent remarked, recognizing the fleet.

Sunny Kindergarten!

All eyes locked onto the convoy. The cars glided to a smooth stop right outside the school’s entrance.

A door opened, and a blond man with graying hair stepped out.

“That’s Mr. Pena!” Tracy exclaimed before she could stop herself. She instinctively moved forward.

Keith Pena! Sunny Kindergarten!

Sunny Kindergarten was, without question, the top kindergarten in Capaville. Money couldn’t buy a spot there. It was a global chain that recruited only the most talented and promising children. Getting in wasn’t about wealth; it was about a child’s innate ability.

To put it simply, a child admitted to Sunny Kindergarten had their entire academic future secured. It was where the nation cultivated its best and brightest.

Eaton wasn’t even in the same universe as Sunny Kindergarten.

The parents watched, buzzing with confusion, wondering why staff from Sunny Kindergarten would show up at their school.

Keith Pena was the chairman of Sunny Kindergarten.

What was he doing here?

Normally, people could only see this man on television. In real life, he was practically a myth.

Realizing that Keith and his entourage were heading straight for Eaton, Tracy quickly gestured for her staff to clear a path. She wisely stepped aside, then hurried forward, ready to greet the VIP.

“Mr. Pena!” Tracy said, stepping forward with an outstretched hand.

Keith’s gaze barely brushed her outstretched hand before sweeping over the crowd gathered nearby.

He completely ignored her, leaving her standing there in awkward silence. She was the principal of Eaton Kindergarten, a shareholder in the Eaton Group! Being treated as if she were invisible was humiliating.

“Hello, we’re from Sunny Kindergarten.” Just as Tracy was wishing the ground would swallow her, a man with glasses, holding a stack of files, finally stepped forward and shook her hand with a polite smile.

“H-hello,” Tracy managed, her smile stiff. She saw Keith walk right past her and into the kindergarten. Hurrying after him, she asked, “Mr. Pena, what brings you here unexpectedly?”

Keith’s eyes scanned the parents, then lingered on Jenarth, who was being shielded by Isabella and Carter. A slight frown touched his features.

“It seems we’ve come at a bad time,” Keith remarked with a soft sigh.

“No, not at all! It’s an honor to have you visit Eaton Kindergarten, Mr. Pena. May I ask what brings you here…?”

“I heard Eaton has an exceptionally gifted child, one with amazing potential. I just returned from overseas and came straight here from the airport to meet this child. But it appears you’re dealing with some trouble at the moment.” Keith’s eyes continued to assess the scene.

Hearing this, Tracy immediately pushed the earlier conflict from her mind. She smiled and moved closer. “You’re too kind, Mr. Pena. It’s just a minor misunderstanding. Our teachers are handling it. I’m merely overseeing as principal. Please, this way…”

Keith didn’t move. The staff behind him stood perfectly in place, forming a silent, immovable wall behind their leader.

“Mr. Pena, all our children at Eaton are outstanding, each brimming with potential,” Tracy said, signaling hastily to a nearby teacher with her eyes. “Go and bring the top students.”

The teacher nodded and hurried off to gather the children.

Keith’s frown deepened at this.

“Mr. Pena, this is my son, Jeffrey. He’s a prodigy in the math club,” said a parent who had been criticizing Victoria earlier, seizing the opportunity to push his child forward.

“My daughter has a real gift for art – she’s already painting traditional works,” another parent chimed in, not wanting to be left behind.

One by one, parents nudged their children forward, and teachers brought out a few other children they deemed exceptional. Soon, the courtyard was a bustling, noisy scene.

Keith’s expression grew even more stern. He was clearly displeased with how Eaton was handling the situation.

“Mr. Pena, these are some of our best and brightest. I can have their portfolios and records sent to you,” Tracy said, her smile hopeful, as if she wished Keith would simply take all the children right then.

Eaton Kindergarten was prestigious, but its reputation was built on the parents’ wealth and social status. If you had money, you could get in. It ultimately depended on how influential the family was.

That was how they evaluated the children.

But Sunny Kindergarten was basically the gold standard of kindergartens – almost a legend. If Eaton could get a gifted kid into it, they’d have bragging rights for years.

If that happened, enrollment for the next year would surely shatter all records.

But as Tracy waited, the only thing she saw on Keith’s face was a cold, unmoving indifference.

“Mr. Pena, we have many other talented children in different specialties. I’ll have the teachers bring them from the other classes…”

Tracy said, turning to instruct the other staff.

“Wait.”

Keith’s voice stopped her.

Tracy froze, then quickly stepped forward again, her smile strained. “Yes, Mr. Pena?”
