Raising her hand to embrace Damion’s neck, Ivy said, “Honey, I also want a son and a daughter.”

She didn’t know if she and Damion will be lucky enough to have a pair of twins directly. One boy and one girl would be great, or two boys and one girl, or two girls and one boy, any combination was fine.

Damion curved his lips and said, “Just have one, it’s too painful. I can’t bear it.”

Ivy kissed on Damion’s lips, and said, “Maybe it hurts when I give birth to our first child, but when I have our second and third child, I will have experience and it won’t hurt anymore.”

Damion’s eyes grew warm and he lowered his head to kiss Ivy on the lips.

Ivy always said that he treated her too well, but in fact, she was also good to him.

What he wanted, she was also giving him. The two of them didn’t speak anymore, and there was no way for them to speak again.

However, Damion was already particularly excited today, and hearing Ivy’s heartfelt words made him even more excited.

Ivy didn’t even know how she managed to stay conscious, and all she remembered was that her throat was hoarse.

After it was all over, Ivy couldn’t even keep her eyes open and fell asleep right away.

When she woke up again, it was already midnight.

Ivy reached out to touch the space beside her but there was no warmth there.

Groggily opening her eyes, Ivy really didn’t want to get up and couldn’t make a sound to call Damion. She could only grab her phone and call him instead.

After the ringing, the door opened with a push.

Damion walked in and leaned down over Ivy. He hung above her protectively and said, “Are you hungry? I made your favorite porridge. Do you want some?”

Ivy nodded weakly and said, “But I don’t have any strength.”

Just going to grab the phone had already used up all of her energy. Now she felt like a complete waste of space.

Damion asked, “Do you want to eat here or go to the dining room?”

Ivy thought about it for a moment before saying, “Let’s go to the dining room.”

So Damion picked Ivy up in his arms, helped dress her properly, then carried her off towards the dining room.

This was Ivy’s favorite flavor. He had been keeping it warm and the temperature was just right now, not too hot to burn her mouth, and the texture was also perfect.

Ivy was really hungry. Originally, Damion was feeding her, but she found it too slow and ended up doing it herself.

After eating two bowls of it in a row, Ivy finally regained her energy and strength.

Damion handed a tissue to Ivy and wiped the corners of her mouth, saying, “You’re so tired. Your physical strength has decreased.”

Before, when they did it three times a day, Ivy was not exhausted like this.

Ivy said, “Maybe I’m getting older and my physical fitness is declining.”

Damion was almost angered by her words. He pinched her little face and said, “If you’re old, what does that make me?”

Ivy chuckled and raised her hand to hang it on Damion’s neck, saying, “I can’t go against my heart and say you’re young, but I like older men. So someone like you is just perfect.”

Damion took Ivy directly to his lap, pinching her slender waist with his big palm.

Ivy’s waist was particularly sensitive, covered in itchy flesh that made her unable to resist screaming at the slightest touch.

Being pinched deliberately by Damion, Ivy wriggled like a fish, unable to stop moving.

“I was wrong, honey. Please forgive me.” Ivy was really ticklish, but now she was firmly controlled by Damion like a fish.

Damion originally just wanted to bully her, but after bullying her like that, it naturally developed into another kind of “bullying”.

In this matter, Ivy had never been Damion’s opponent. She can only follow her instincts to feel and respond.

With her hands tightly gripping Damion’s clothes, Ivy said, “Why aren’t you following the rules? It makes it difficult for me to handle things.”

Damion chuckled and whispered in Ivy’s ear, “I like it.”

Both of them didn’t go back to the room but did it in the dining room.

When it ended again, Ivy looked at the remaining porridge on the table, licked her lips and said, “I feel like I can eat two more bowls now.”

Damion was amused by her, but still didn’t leave, just hugged her like this, and said, “If you say that, I will think of some bad ways.”

Ivy looked at Damion blankly, not understanding the meaning behind his words.

Damion leaned in and whispered into Ivy’s ear, sharing the fleeting thought that had just popped into his mind.

She immediately averted her gaze, unable to look directly at the porridge on the table.

Ivy said, “If you keep doing this, how am I supposed to eat in the future?”

Just thinking about it made her remember what Damion had just said. It was too evil.

Damion said, “Then get something else.”

“Forget it,” Ivy raised her hand to cover Damion’s mouth. “I don’t suspect now that you’re disgusted with me being fat and want to ruin my appetite.”

Thanks to Damion’s ability to speak out loud, she really couldn’t look directly at him anymore.

“Okay okay,” Damion said. “Let’s not talk about it anymore. Forget this one.”

Ivy twisted her body and wanted to get off of Damion.

However, this movement made Ivy freeze again completely.

She looked at Damion and struggled a bit before saying with difficulty, “Can you take a break for a while?”

Damion said, “Last time.”

Ivy woke up again, and it was already noon the next day.

This time Ivy had slept well, so she didn’t need to call Damion to help her get out of bed. She got up and immediately went into the bathroom. She wanted to check if she was pregnant yet, but unfortunately the test results were negative.

Feeling a bit disappointed, Ivy looked at the pregnancy test in her hand. It seemed like they would have to try harder. When Damion wasn’t home, Ivy spent the afternoon researching how to conceive on her laptop.

She searched for hours but couldn’t find any reason why they hadn’t been successful yet. When Damion came home and saw Ivy sitting on the floor looking sad, he picked her up and placed her on the couch.

“What’s wrong? Why are you unhappy?” Damion asked with concern.

“We weren’t successful,” Ivy replied with a frown.

Damion paused for a moment before realizing what she meant by “not successful.” He chuckled softly and said reassuringly, “It doesn’t always happen right away. Don’t worry about it too much. Just relax.”

“But we’ve both been checked out by doctors! I can’t find any reason why we haven’t succeeded,” Ivy said in frustration.

“Maybe it’s just taking its time,” Damion suggested optimistically. “You have to allow for some detours along the way.”

Ivy smiled at his words and hugged him around his neck saying, “Then let’s keep trying! If our front line gets lost, then we’ll send reinforcements from behind!”

“Okay,” agreed Damion with a smile. “But first things first ??an army marches on its stomach! Let’s go fill ours.”

Ivy suddenly realized that it was already dark outside when he mentioned dinner plan. “Oh no! I didn’t even notice what time it is… I haven’t prepared anything for dinner.”

Since getting married, they had stopped having Bishop family servants around all day long, so both of them cooked their own meals together most of times when they returned home together after work or other activities. This habit had become part of their marriage routine over time.

“Well then let’s go out instead,” suggested Damian cheerfully as he stood up from where he sat beside her. “We’ll make an appointment!”

“Don’t you think we should boost morale before going into battle?” teased Ivy playfully as she followed suit getting off from couch herself now.

“Of course!” laughed Damian heartily. “What will happen if our soldiers aren’t feeling good? They’ll be demotivated during combat!”

Ivy was almost laughing to death by Damion’s words. With her hands and feet wrapped around Damion, Ivy said, “Then let the soldier go dress up first.”

Damion picked up Ivy and walked towards the closet.

Ivy asked, “Can soldier ask which battle dress is more suitable to wear today?”

Damion didn’t answer, but instead stood in front of the wardrobe and started picking out clothes.

Soon, Damion picked out a set of clothes that Casey had designed as a couple’s outfit. Before starting her own clothing brand, Casey had designed a set of clothes for everyone.

However, after receiving this set of clothes, there hadn’t been a chance to wear them out yet. Just as he was looking at them, Damion asked, “How about this set?”

Ivy nodded and said, “Okay.”

She had never gone out wearing matching outfits with Damion yet, and just thinking about it made her a little excited.

Damion placed Ivy on the chair and asked, “Do you want me to help you?”

Ivy decisively shook her head. She had a feeling that if she really let Damion help, the two of them wouldn’t be able to go out tonight.

As they left the house, both Damion and Ivy had no specific place in mind for their impromptu dinner date. In the past, if they didn’t feel like cooking, they would go to one of their usual spots where they had a designated table and didn’t have to wait for seating.

But today, Ivy wanted something different. She scrolled through her phone looking at recommendations for new restaurants that were supposed to be delicious. Damion was happy to go wherever Ivy wanted; he just wanted her to be happy.

Finally, Ivy settled on a trendy restaurant with unique decor that looked nothing like a typical eatery from the pictures she saw online. Normally she wasn’t interested in trying something so out of the ordinary but today was different – she felt adventurous.

After parking the car and seeing what kind of restaurant it really was, Damion couldn’t help but agree with Ivy’s initial assessment: this place did not look like it would serve good food. But as Ivy pointed out some positive reviews online, he realized there might be more than met the eye.

“If those are fake reviews,” said Ivy jokingly as she handed him her phone, “I’ll report them for false advertising.”

Damion chuckled at her comment and put his arm around her shoulder affectionately before saying, “You’re my hero.”

As they approached the restaurant entrance however, they noticed an incredibly long line waiting outside, which made even confident Ivy hesitate momentarily before asking Damion if he still wanted to try it out.

“We’re already here,” replied Damion reassuringly as he took hold of her hand. “Let’s give it a shot!”

Their number ended up being over 100, which meant another two or three hours wait time, but instead of sitting around doing nothing , the couple found themselves exploring nearby stores while enjoying each other’s company.

Ivy decided that since this outing was already taking longer than expected, she might as well take advantage by going window-shopping while waiting for their turn at dinner.
