Seeing her in such a sickly state, Anthony couldn’t bring himself to complain and could only mutter, “Lawyers’ time is quite precious, so be on time next time.”

After recovering, Rosalyn apologized with a flushed face, saying, “I’m sorry, I’ll be on time next time…”

Anthony reassured her, “It’s okay if you’re not on time, just let me know if you’re sick.” Anthony glanced at her again and asked, “Your illness isn’t serious, right? It won’t affect our court appearance, right?”

Rosalyn blushed once more and shook her head, saying, “No, I’ll be fine tomorrow…” Standing upstairs, a man wearing a wristwatch and staring in the direction of the living room heard this and suddenly curled his lips into an indulgent smile. you sick?

“Where’s your husband?”

Rosalyn looked up and happened to see Andrew smiling, so she glared at him and said, “He’s going crazy.”

“Hmm?”

Anthony looked up from his documents and glanced at her.

Rosalyn awkwardly waved her hand, saying, “I’m just joking.”

Anthony, being an experienced old fox, could tell from these few sentences what these two had been up to at home.

Looking closer at Rosalyn’s attire, even in the peak of summer, she was wearing long sleeves, long pants, and even a scarf.

If he still didn’t understand, then he would be a fool.

He clenched his fists and coughed lightly into his hand, “Hurry and call him down. After we finish talking, I need to go back and organize the case.”

Just as Rosalyn was about to get up and call Andrew, the well-dressed man slowly walked down the stairs.

Rosalyn stared at his fair neck and couldn’t help but think about biting it next time.

The man, who seemed to be lost in his thoughts, sat down next to her and grabbed her small hand, placing it in his palm.

Crossing his long legs and lazily leaning back on the couch, he said, “Let’s begin.”

He was speaking to Anthony, and Andrew’ naturally cold voice and inherent nobility were quite intimidating.

Even Anthony, who was accustomed to the various kinds of person, felt a bit nervous in the presence of Andrew.

Fortunately, the conversation revolved around his area of expertise, so he didn’t show any signs of fear and even displayed a sense of pride.

As Anthony went on and on, Andrew suddenly remembered the way he had begged on his knees when Kate forced him to break up with Edith.

Nobody could have imagined that someone who used to only wander among women would one day grow wild and become a thriving giant tree, shining and glowing.

Human bias is like a towering mountain. Once deeply rooted, it’s hard to change. Little do people know that mountains have two- sides, but once thoughts are fixed, people are unwilling to look at the other side.

After Anthony had clarified the details and explained what they would encounter in court, he looked up at Andrew.

Noticing Andrew sizing him up, Anthony asked somewhat uncomfortably, “Mr. Evans, did I forget something?”

Andrew replied indifferently, “No, please continue.”

Only then did Anthony hand over the neatly organized documents to both of them.

“These are the questions the opposing lawyer will ask. I’ve listed them out for you to review.”

He was quite meticulous in his work, not only analyzing the case clearly but also preparing the questions and answers for the opposing lawyer.

It showed that he really wanted to win this lawsuit because the person involved was a relative of the woman he had silently loved for many years.

With Andrew and Rosalyn’s strong cooperation, Anthony quickly gathered all the information and recorded it in his notebook before bidding farewell.

After Anthony left, Frank approached and said, “Madam, Jonny is looking for you.”

Rosalyn, who was reviewing the documents, raised her head in surprise and asked, “Looking for me?”

She didn’t have much interaction with Jonny, and whenever they crossed paths, it was always by chance. It was the first time he actively sought her out. “Did he say what it was about?”

“No, he just asked you to go out.”

The man sitting next to her, his fingers holding the documents, stiffened slightly, and his face gradually darkened.

Rosalyn noticed and quickly grabbed his arm, soothing him. softly, “Honey, come with me.”

Andrew forced a smile, tugging at the corner of his stiff lips, “You go, I have something to do.”

He wasn’t even angry or cold towards her this time when Jonny came to find her. He even smiled at her.

Rosalyn assumed he really had something important, so she didn’t force him and simply got up to walk outside the castle. Watching her petite figure gradually disappear from sight, Andrew tightly clenched the documents in his hand.

In the hot afternoon of summer, Rosalyn held a black parasol and looked outside the large iron gate at Jonny.

He was dressed quite handsomely, a white shirt with gray trousers, looking neat and clean, but a bit foolish.

He stood under the sun, sweating through his shirt on the back, yet he refused to sit in the car and insisted on waiting at the door.

Rosalyn frowned when she saw Jonny’s appearance and asked, “Jonny, what do you want from me?”

Jonny turned around upon hearing her voice and blushed uncontrollably when he saw Rosalyn’s face. It reminded him of the dream he had last night, and he awkwardly covered his ears. Rosalyn noticed and asked, “Why are your ears so red?”

Thinking she had discovered something, Jonny quickly covered his ears in fear.

Just as he covered them, Rosalyn continued, “If you keep exposing them to the sun like that, your ears will peel.”

Turned out she thought he had sunburned his ears. Jonny’s heart raced, but gradually calmed down. “It’s fine, I’m not afraid of sunburn.”

Rosalyn didn’t care if he was afraid of the sun or not, she just asked, “Alright, what brought you here?”

Jonny finally explained, “My sister and Zack sent something for you after their trip, and she asked me to deliver it.”

Even though Zack was now with Gigi, he was still Andrew’s subordinate. If something was sent, it should have been sent directly to Andrew. Why would they ask Jonny to deliver it?

Rosalyn glanced at Jonny skeptically and asked, “Why didn’t Zack send it to us directly?”

As if understanding her gaze, Jonny quickly explained, “It must have been my sister. She wants me to make amends with Andrew,

After saying that, worried that Rosalyn wouldn’t believe him, he added with a hint of arrogance, “But I will never make amends with him, so I came to you instead.”

The explanation made sense, so Rosalyn didn’t inquire further. “If you don’t want to make amends, why not just have a bodyguard deliver it?”
