Up until thirty seconds ago, Taliana had no idea either. Hell, she could barely remember how they’d ended up here.

“Certainly wasn’t my intention,” he grumbled as he sat up, ruffling his hair. “What time is it?”

“Almost ten,” Vanessa supplied helpfully, grasping her sister’s upper arm. “Come on, Marissa, let’s leave these two be. Talia, you want us to put on a pot of coffee?”

Taliana nodded, immediately regretting it as a sharp pain seared through her skull. “Please.”

Vanessa shot them both a sympathetic smile before dragging Marissa out of the room and shutting the door softly behind her, leaving Taliana and Sebastian alone.

“What the hell happened last night?” Taliana questioned, not daring to move from her spot on the bed, even though her fake boyfriend was in it with her. “I feel like death warmed over.”

“No wonder.” Sebastian snorted humorlessly, dropping his hands from his hair in favor of rubbing his face. “I’m surprised you’re not still passed out considering how drunk Michael got you.”

Those key words were enough to unlock a formerly inaccessible part of Taliana’s brain, and memories of the previous evening started slowly filtering back, successfully overriding the shock of being in bed with Sebastian.

Taliana could remember dinner and pouring wine on Blair easily, as well as the first hour she’d spent at the club holed up in the VIP lounge with Michael, going shot for shot with him. Most everything after that was a blur, but she could vaguely remember Sebastian offering to take her home and how she insisted he stay the night.

“I can’t believe I did this,” Taliana blurted as her head pounded in sync with her rapidly beating heart. “I’m sorry.”

“Not your fault. Michael’s the one who did this to you. Do you remember anything from last night?”

Grimacing, Taliana slowly sat up. “Most of it,” she mumbled, rubbing her forehead. “Did I seriously spill wine all over Blair, or was that just an amazing dream?”

“No, you definitely did that,” he chuckled as he stretched.

“Wonderful,” she said dryly, though she was pretty proud of herself.

Sebastian sighed, dropping his arms to his sides. “All right, I’ve gotta get home.”

“Oh god, your parents aren’t going to freak out over this, are they?”

He shook his head, dark hair flopping over his eyes. “I doubt it, but I had Jude call and cover for me anyway.”

Taliana struggled to her aching feet. “I suppose it’s my fault you had to do that, so I guess that means I owe you. What do you want? Money? A favor? Or maybe my soul?”

Sebastian smirked as he watched Taliana adjust her slipping halter top. “Nah, the information Michael got out of you last night was good enough.”

Taliana’s stomach dropped to her knees, dreading what she was about to hear. “What did I tell him?”

“I’m not sure you want to know,” he chuckled as she followed him out into the hall. “Especially since everything you said was about me.”

Taliana had a feeling it was going to be bad, but she had no idea it was that horrible. “Damn it,” she grumbled, gripping the handrail tightly as she slowly started down the stairs. “What did I say?”

Sebastian glanced over his shoulder at her, grinning devilishly. “According to Michael, you admitted I was much better in bed than Zak ever was.”

Taliana stumbled at his words, narrowly keeping from toppling over. “No way.”

“Believe it,” he laughed, amusement practically rolling off him. “I had no idea you enjoyed that night so much.”

“What else did I say?” she asked worriedly, hoping everything else wouldn’t be as bad.

“You admitted you thought I was hotter than my brother.”

Well, at least that was a little better than the first.

“Shit,” Taliana sighed, leading him toward the kitchen, where she could smell brewing coffee. “Please tell me that was all I said.”

A look over her shoulder told her all she needed to know.

He grinned, slipping around the breakfast bar and leaning against the counter next to the fridge. “I’m not sure you want me to tell you the last part.”

Taliana cringed and opened the cabinet where the mugs were. “That bad?”

“For you. Quite the ego booster for me.”

“If I commented on the size of your dick, I don’t want to know.”

Sebastian laughed as Taliana shoved a Rudolph-the-Red-Nosed-Reindeer mug at him. “Not quite, but you did say something about it being ‘magical’.”

God, she was going to die from embarrassment.

“I’m going to kill Michael,” she mumbled, grabbing a mug for herself as well.

“Feel free,” Sebastian encouraged, curling his fingers around the handle of the coffee pot. “He certainly deserves it.”

Taliana shuddered. “He’s awful. You’re ten times better than him, and that’s saying something since you’re pretty bad as well.”

“I’ll take that as a compliment then,” he murmured, clearly fighting a smile. “I do feel a little bad that I didn’t stop him.”

Taliana grunted and waved her free hand to dismiss it. “All that matters is you didn’t let me go home with him.”

Sebastian looked vaguely surprised as he took a sip of his coffee. “Would you have really done that?”

She shot him a knowing look as she sat on one of the barstools. “You and I both know what I’m like when I’m drunk. And besides, he may be a pig, but he’s still good looking.”

A frown pulled at Sebastian’s mouth, and Taliana wondered if he was jealous. She dismissed that thought quickly, knowing better than to think something so stupid. Sebastian didn’t see her as anything other than a friend, if even that.
