Chapter 627 – I Got Married Without You Novel

Filed to story: I Got Married Without You

Drops of blood from Jayden’s hand back fell onto Eva’s hand, making her hesitate for a long time. Then she raised her hand again and continued to help him stop the bleeding.

“Have you set a time to meet your parents?”

Hearing Eva suddenly ask this question, Jayden was a bit confused and glanced at her.

“Yes, it’s next month, they will return to the country.”

After saying that, Jayden added:

“Don’t worry, when I go back, I will call them and tell them not to come.”

After a few seconds of silence, Eva raised her head again and faced him.

“Since it’s been decided, don’t change it.”

Jayden was stunned for a moment, then quickly reacted.

“You… don’t plan on breaking up with me?”

Eva also decisively shook her head.

“No.”

She was not a person who treats relationships casually. Jayden also hadn’t made any fundamental mistakes. It was only because of Paul’s presence that he had done something unscrupulous. It seemed unreasonable to abandon Jayden just because of that…

Jayden was so happy that Eva didn’t break up with him that he ignored the pain on his hand and hugged her tightly, holding her in his arms.

“I thought that after today, we would never have any connection again…”

He rested his chin on Eva’s shoulder and said sincerely:

“Eva, thank you for choosing to forgive me…”

Eva didn’t say anything, she just raised her hand and patted his back.

“Jayden, let’s get you on the ambulance first.”

After Jayden was taken to the hospital and the doctor finished examining and stitching his wounds, Eva finally sat down by his bedside.

“Paul has been wrongly accused, and I need to clear his name. I’m going to find him now, apologize, and then I won’t see him anymore. Do you mind?”

Eva meant that she wanted to completely cut ties with Paul, and Jayden, being smart, naturally understood.

“I don’t mind, but the one who should apologize is me, not you.”

“Please don’t go.”

Eva shook her head and Jayden’s gaze dropped.

“I know that Paul is just like me, he doesn’t want to see you and me together.”

Eva could feel the resentment in Jayden’s heart.

She stared at Jayden’s fair and handsome face and calmly said:

“Jayden, I really want to marry you. If I choose you, then it’s you. Unless you betray me, I won’t easily change my mind. So don’t mind Paul anymore, don’t provoke him. If you do it again next time, I won’t forgive you.”

Eva made it clear that she was giving Jayden another chance, but if he repeated the same mistake, she wouldn’t forgive him again…

Jayden, who understood, looked at Eva and nodded: “Alright, I promise you, I won’t provoke him anymore.”

He used some methods, but so what? The person he wanted would stay by his side, and that was enough.

Jayden didn’t think there was anything wrong with using some means to get what he wanted.

After clarifying things with Eva, Jayden got up and went to the hospital where Paul was.

Just as they got into the car, Rosalyn called.

“Eva, did you ask Jayden? Did he tell you what offensive things he said to Paul?”

As Eva started the car, she replied to Rosalyn:

“He didn’t tell me exactly what offensive things he said, but it doesn’t matter now. I have made up my mind.”

Rosalyn, who was holding the brush and drawing, paused for a moment when she heard this, then put down the pen and ruler, and reached out to pick up the phone.

“What do you mean you’ve thought it through?”

“I got angry with Paul before, that’s why I agreed to date Jayden. I had selfish motives, but he was genuinely interested. In this period of time, except for when Paul shows up and he does something out of line, he has been good to me…”

Rosalyn understood. Eva knew what Jayden had done, but chose to forgive him, but…

“What about Paul? He must be feeling really bad being misunderstood.”

Rosalyn implied that Eva should also consider Paul’s feelings.

When Eva thought about how Paul was wrongly accused, she felt a sense of guilt surging up inside her, but she tried her best to suppress it.

“Rosalyn, when I agreed to marry Jayden, he had already set a date with his parents.”

“I willingly agreed to be with Jayden. I can’t just push him away because of this.”

“I have to take responsibility and not deceive him and his parents, or else my conscience will feel guilty.”

Eva realized where the problem lay, but now she was no longer concerned about her own feelings.

Even if it were Rosalyn, she couldn’t help Eva make the right judgment. After a few seconds of silence and hesitation, she still spoke up to advise Eva. “You haven’t been dating Jayden for very long. How about talking to him some more and considering marriage?”

It’s not that Jayden is not good, but Eva doesn’t seem to like him that much.

Of course, according to Eva, it’s better to marry someone who loves her than someone she loves.

That way, even if she ends up getting hurt or betrayed, she can leave without any complications.

No love, no pain.

Eva’s concept of marriage is not wrong.
