So, when she was about to go home today, Beata directly let the car that came to pick her up pull over in front of Averi without any precautions.

However, these words of hers did not convince River.

Since River was able to check Averi’s information clearly, he naturally understood Averi’s abilities.

He didn’t believe that Averi didn’t check Beata clearly.

As for what Beata said that Averi had no plans for her and didn’t know her identit, River needed to observe it before making a judgment.

He didn’t agree with Beata’s words.

However, it was not necessary to tell Beata what he thought clearly.

As long as she can make herself happy and carefree, as for the things that would make her unhappy,

River would definitely help her keep them out.

If Averi would really hurt Beata, he would definitely make her pay the due price.

Seeing that River didn’t speak, Beata felt a little sad.

She looked at River, and her brows frowned, somewhat displeased. “River, can you promise me, no matter what happens this time, don’t do anything to hurt Averi?”

In the past, anyone who appeared by her side and plotted against her would be dealt with by River himself.

Beata had experienced all kinds of sad things, and felt quite disappointed.

However, after experiencing a lot, she calmed down.

She didn’t have such a big reaction to this kind of thing anymore.

However, she didn’t know why Averi liked her so much.

If Averi really came to approach her with evil intentions, she would be very sad.

However, she will choose to forgive if that was the case.

But, Beata really hoped that her dearest brother would not hurt her favorite friend.

River looked at Beata, and was somewhat surprised that she came to talk to him about this so seriously.

It was hard for him to understand what kind of method Averi used to his sister, so she talked to him like this.

This made River unconsciously want to meet Averi and to find out what was going on with her.

Beata didn’t wait for her brother to agree to her and immediately became anxious.

She looked at River with tears in her eyes, and said, “River, if you hurt Averi, I will really be unhappy, and besides, I will run away from home and never talk to you again.”

River almost laughed at her childish words.

He raised his hand and stroked Beata’s head, saying, “What are you talking about? Threatening your brother for an outsider?”

River frowned suddenly, always feeling that this was too strange.

He said, “Beata, do you like girls?”

She stared at River in shock, and couldn’t believe that she heard such outrageous words from her brother’s mouth.

She widened her eyes and opened her mouth, trying to calm herself down.

However, she really can’t do it.

Beata took a deep breath and said, “River, have you seen anything strange recently?”

Could it be that he read the novel she wrote?

But, that was not possible. She only wrote about two boys in love, but she didn’t write about girls in love. How could her brother have such an outrageous idea?

River said, “I think that those who break up with their family members because of outsiders are all fools who think love is all.”

Beata was so speechless.

Smiling at River, Beata said seriously, “River, what you think is rather excessive. You are not only discriminating against special love, but also unfair to people who think love is all. Why are they fool when they put love firs? What’s wrong with it?”

River laughed lowly and said, “Kid, tell me, why do you like that Averi so much?”

Beata couldn’t answer this question.

She tilted her head and said, “Anyway, I’m innocent.”

River was amused by Beata’s words, chuckled lowly, and said, “Okay, I know you are innocent, but you should pay attention to it yourself. If you find anything wrong, stop in time. Understand?”

Beata nodded obediently and said, “I know, Rive. I’m not an idiot.”

“It’s fine if you aren’t. Go back to sleep and I keep this first.” River said.

He took the report and didn’t give it back to Beata.

Beata asked, “River, what are you going to do?”

“My sister suffered the grievance, so it is natural to seek justice.” River said.

Beata wrinkled her face and said, “But I told Averi I will settle this myself.”

When River heard this, he looked at Beata, feeling it a little funny, and said, “Why? If you don’t solve it yourself, Averi will be unhappy?”

Beata thought about it that Averi probably wouldn’t think that way, but she had already talked wildly, so naturally she wanted to be proud in front of Averi.

She didn’t want Averi to feel that she was a kid who can only talk big.

Knowing what Beata was thinking, River said helplessly, “Little girl, you are still underage, and you still have to rely on your family. Do you think there is something wrong?”

“But, won’t it make me look useless?” Beata flattened her mouth, with a very tangled expression on her face.

River said, “Do what you can do at your age. And you should always give me a chance, so that I don’t see you growing up so quickly.”

Beata burst into tears when River said this.

Her eyes blinked, and tears began to swirl in them.

River was helpless, raised his hand and stroked Beata’s head, saying, “Don’t do this. It makes me feel like I’m embarrassing you.”

Beata flattened her mouth and said pitifully, “You are.”

River laughed helplessly and could do nothing about it.

“Okay, you, go to sleep.” River said.

Beata nodded, turned and went back to her room.

River went back to the room, took out the report again, and read it carefully.

He was still full of doubts about Averi. Why did she appear by Beata’s side by such a coincidence, and give her such an inspection report?

Even though Beata told him not to target Averi, he still decided to observe this woman for a while before talking to her.

Averi didn’t know that she was being targeted. She chatted with Beata about cats in the middle of the night, and finally couldn’t stand it any longer, and fell asleep directly.

This time Averi didn’t sleep very well.

She had a very bad dream, being chased by a beast all night.

When she woke up, Averi felt as if her legs were broken.

Sitting up from the bed, Averi found herself with a stiff neck.

Her neck twisted, and Averi gasped in pain.

What the hell?! How could she have such a strange dream?

Averi got off the bed, touched her neck with one hand, and went to the bathroom to wash up.

However, she was very speechless and found that she even struggled to brush her teeth.

After washing with a stiff neck, Averi didn’t want to make breakfast for herself, so she changed her clothes and left the house.

Beata was so focused on chatting about cats with Averi last night that she completely forgot about her business.

After waking up, Beata rubbed her eyes, and decided that this should be resolved by herself.

Although River told her not to stop relying on him so quickly, Beata still wanted to let herself try independently.

So, Beata didn’t even go downstairs to have breakfast, but just sat in front of the computer and started writing a small article.

Her twitter account was quite influential. After all, she was a well-known author now. With her fans, what she posted would have a certain popularity.

Beata tapped on the keyboard, ready to fight that brand to the end.

She didn’t exaggerate, but just explained the matter with the most objective attitude and the most rigorous words.

Of course, all of this still needed to be supported by evidence.

It was only then that Beata remembered that her brother had taken the test report.

She stood up from her chair, ready to go to River to get the report back.

River had already gone out in the morning, so he wasn’t at home at all.

Beata went into River’s study and looked for it, but she couldn’t find where the report was at all.

“It’s weird. Why is the report gone?” Beata mumbled, went back to her room, got her cell phone, and called River.

However, she didn’t know what River was busy with and he didn’t answer.
