He looked down at her in his arms.

Cameron’s lashes were long, and with her eyes closed, they cast a soft shadow beneath her eyelids – she looked absolutely adorable.

Earlier that afternoon, Eric had put a lot of thought into Cameron’s outfit, and it made Bradley’s heart race.

But at the time, his mind had been so focused on the proposal that he even forgot to compliment her at all,

His long fingers gently traced the tip of Cameron’s nose. “Cam, you were absolutely gorgeous this afternoon.”

Cameron opened her eyes and looked up at him. “So, now that I’ve taken off my makeup, I’m not gorgeous anymore?”

Bradley lifted her delicate chin and leaned down to give her a soft kiss on her petal-like lips. “You’re even more beautiful now.

Really? Cameron bearned.

She rose up on her tiptoes and pressed her lips to Bradley’s just as he was about to say something, catching his soft tips dah bers

There was no way Bradley could handle Cameron making the first move.

In a heartbeat, he flipped the script, taking charge and kissing her back with fierce, unstoppable passion.

After what felt like forever, Bradley finally managed to let go of Cameron, though even then, he was is just barely keeping himself in check

Cameron leaned into his arms, her breath coming in soft, unsteady bursts.

She looked up at him, her eyes unfocused and dreamy as she gazed at Bradley.

That look nearly shattered Bradley’s self-control.

He turned his head slightly and said softly, “Cam, it’s really late.”

Bradley bent down, picked her up, and gently laid her on the bed.

He braced his hand on the pillow beside her head, caging her in protectively.

Bradley gently ran his fingers through her soft hair, clearly reluctant to let go. “Cam, it’s really late. I’m going to sleep in the guest room. Will you be scared being here alone?”

This villa was massive – five stories above ground, three below- and right now, it was just the two of them inside.

Bradley fully expected Cameron to just shake her head.

After all, she wasn’t the delicate, easily frightened girl.

She was tougher than stone.

But to his surprise, Cameron tugged at the hem of his robe, looking up at him with a rare softness in her voice. “Brad, I’m scared. Please don’t go.”

Bradley froze, completely caught off guard.

‘Don’t go?’ he wondered.

‘Does she mean what I think she means?’ Bradley’s heart skipped a beat.

Bradley looked down at her, helpless and a little desperate. “Cam, I’m really not as self-controlled as you think. If I don’t leave now, I might…” not be able to stop myself…

“You don’t have to hold back,” Cameron whispered, her voice soft but full of resolve.

Bradley shocked.

His eyes went wide-was he really hearing this right?

“Wait… does she really mean what I think she means?’ Bradley’s heart was pounding.

But instead of answering, Cameron decided to show him exactly what she meant – with action, not words.

She grabbed a pillow from the bed and tossed it straight at the light switch.

With a sharp “click,” the room went completely dark.

In the darkness, Bradley looked at Cameron by the faint light filtering in from outside. “Cam, are you sure?”

Cameron smiled, “Bred, I’ve already said yes to your proposal. Our engagement party is set for three months from now. What more do you need to sure of?”

This is all so sudden,’ he thought, stunned.

For a moment, Bradley was completely dazed.

“Cam, are you really ready for this?” Bradley still felt like he was dreaming.

Cameron put her arms around his neck. “Brad…”

She had barely called his name when Bradley’s lips crashed down on hers.

Now that he had her answer, his kiss was hungry and reckless.

His lips worshipped every inch of her skin…

But right before the final moment, Bradley paused, a little nervous. “Cam, I don’t really have any experience…”

Cameron replied, “Turns out, I don’t either.”

Bradley froze.

‘It’s her first time too?’ he thought happily.

Even though neither of them had any experience, they were both adults some things don’t need to be taught; they just happen when the time comes.

After a long while, Cameron drifted off to sleep, worn out.

Bradley gently cleaned her up with a warm towel.

Bradley lay down beside her, gently pulling her into his arms. Looking at the girl nestled against him, he couldn’t help but smile in satisfaction.

He slowly lowered his head and pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her hair.

His dreams really do come true.

Bradley didn’t sleep a wink that night.

He couldn’t take his eyes off Cameron, not even daring to blink, as if he could never get enough of her.

Cameron slept soundly, and once again found herself lost in that dream.

She was lying on the freezing concrete, her body battered and broken.

A tall, striking young man forced his way through the crowd. With a soft sigh, he took off his jacket and gently laid it over her.

This time, something was different.

This time, Cameron finally saw his face.

The young man was strikingly handsome, with a reserved, scholarly vibe. He wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses.

Brad Cameron murmured.

“Brad. Brad…”

“Hm? Cam?” Bradley was staring at her without blinking, when suddenly, Cameron frowned in her sleep and called his name.

Bradley held her gently in his arms. “Cam?”

Cameron slowly opened her eyes.

Outside the window, the sky was growing pale.

The room was getting brighter.

The first thing she saw was Bradley’s impossibly handsome face, looking worried.

But right now, he wasn’t wearing his glasses.

“Brad!” Cameron suddenly threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tight.

“It was him all along!’ she thought.

The only one who had ever given her warmth after her death in her previous life was Bradley!

And in this life, he was also the first to show her any kindness.
