His well–defined knuckles slowly fiddled with the hair wrapped around the button.

He lowered his head, his warm breath on the skin of the woman’s neck, making her heart flutter.

Her ears turned red, and her fingertips curled up slightly. “Are you done?”

“It’s a little too tight,” David said unhurriedly. “You have to be patient with this kind of thing. You can’t rush it.”

For some reason, Rachel acutely sensed a kind of pleasure from his tone!

She wondered if it was all in her head.

After some time, David finally undid the dead knot between her hair and the button. “Done.”

Rachel, who was gradually maintaining the same posture, felt her waist go limp and she fell into his arms uncontrollably.

David grabbed her shoulder and fell backward

The moment they fell, Rachel’s forehead was tightly pressed against his chest.

This sudden action made Rachel’s eyes widen. She explained anxiously, ‘I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…”

“I know.” David stared at her without blinking, his fingertips caressing her cheek.

Their current position was too intimate, making Rachel want to escape at a loss. However, the arm on her waist tightened and trapped her firmly in his arms.

She looked up and met the man’s deep eyes. She held her breath.

There seemed to be a spark in his eyes. It flickered with heat, making Rachel’s heart skip a beat.

“You don’t know how tempting you are to me.” He stared at the woman’s moist lips with dark. eyes and couldn’t help but slowly move closer.

The man’s unique scent assaulted her senses. Rachel’s hands that were placed on the man’s chest suddenly clenched into fists. Her eyelashes fluttered in a panic like a frightened butterfly as she muttered softly, “David…”

The man’s warm breath sprayed on her face. His thin lips brushed past her cheek, and in the end, he only buried his head deep in her neck

It was forbearance and restraint

He wrapped his arms tightly around her and tightened his grip. He wanted to rub her into his bones and blood.

“David, you’re hurting me Rachel twisted her waist uncomfortably

David chuckled softly. The hot breath he exhaled shot into her ear, and as if she had been electrocuted, a numbing feeling quickly spread to her limbs and bones ‘Rae–Rae, don’t make me wait too long

The man’s voice was low and soft. There was a faint smile on his lips, but it was exceptionally seductive

At that moment, Rachel’s breathing was completely disrupted, and so was his heart

It so happened that the car stopped at this moment. She pushed David away in a panic and stumbled out of the car

David looked at Rachel’s back as she fled in panic. His thin lips curled up, making him look. like a refined scum.

He rubbed his fingers as if he was reminiscing about the delicate softness he had just felt. He boasted that he had sufficient patience and self–control, but these two things that he was so proud of came apart in front of Rachel

Especially when he approached her the desire to conquer in his heart was like a ferocious beast that had broken out of its cage.

Compared to the others around her, David had always felt that feelings were the most useless thing in the world. Women were even dispensable accessories

However, after meeting Rachel, all his theories were easily overturned.

He could not help but be curious about everything about her. Her figure would appear in his mind from time to time, making him lose control and want to see her.

It was just as he had said.

She was an accident in his life. He had imagined that he would meet her, but he had never thought that he would fall into it because of a moment of interest.

Everything was out of his control and out of his depth.

Perhaps, meeting her was his destiny

He took out his phone and clicked opened Rachel’s chat frame. [Goodnight.]

Rachel, who had just returned to her room, had just calmed down when she saw the message from David. Her heart skipped a beat again.

She casually set her phone to vibrate mode and placed it on the table before walking straight into the bathroom.

The warm water enveloped her body, alleviating her fatigue from a busy day.

His black hair scattered behind her as if it was algae floating on water.

She leaned lazily against the edge of the bath, absently shaking the goblet in her hand. Involuntarily, David’s words appeared in her mind. “Rae–Rae, don’t make me wait too long.” He said that he understood her timidity and could see the sensitive soul in her heart. Although they had only interacted a few times, it was undeniable that this man had successfully left an indelible mark in her heart with his strength and gentleness.

But she didn’t know if she should allow him to enter her world.

They had only known each other for a few days, and she barely knew anything about this man. She figured such a person was probably not worthy of her attention.

Rachel gulped down the red wine in her glass, leaned against her headrest, and slowly closed her eyes.

As she left the bathroom, she heard a faint vibration from her phone.

Curious, she walked forward to check. Coincidentally, David called again.

She hesitated for a moment before picking up the phone. “Rae–Rae?”

The moment she heard his voice, Rachel’s heart seemed to be gripped by something neither light nor heavy. Her heart beat uncontrollably.

Rachel took a deep breath and tried to keep her tone steady. “What’s the matter?”

“You haven’t replied.” The man’s deep and cold voice rang in her ears with a hint of a relaxed smile. “I’m glad to hear your voice again.”

Rachel seemed to understand what he was implying. “Are you worried that I’ll block you?” “Will you?” David’s tone was very light. There was a hint of gentleness in his low voice, like a lover’s murmur. “Rae–Rae, you can’t bear to.”

“I can’t bear to?”

Rachel thought that she really couldn’t bear to do so.

Otherwise, she wouldn’t let him forcefully barge into her life. She wouldn’t let herself get lost in his gentleness. She also wouldn’t get hot under her collar when he used accident to describe their encounter.

His gentleness was like a small seed that had inadvertently been planted in the barren land in her heart. Unknowingly, she had the urge to quietly break out of the ground.

“It’s getting late. It’s time to rest. Good night.”

With that, she hurriedly hung up the phone.

It was bound to be difficult for her to fall asleep that night….
