Chapter 418 – She Is The Campus Prince Novel Free Online By Alyssa Fox

Posted on August 29, 2025 by thisisterrisun

Filed to story: That Campus Prince Is a Girl

Back in the day, Eddie was just a clueless playboy, hopping from one girlfriend to the next at will, sometimes even juggling a few at once.

That all changed when their little sister, Camilla Saunders, returned home.

Eddie was completely blown away by Camilla’s beauty that he decided then and there to ditch his old ways and chase her.

But half an hour later, he found out that Camilla was actually his biological sister. He was so shocked and couldn’t live with the shame of it.

Feeling humiliated, Eddie went all out against Camilla, but he was no match for her. Things got even worse when he actually teamed up with her enemies to frame her, almost making a horrible mistake.

Goaded beyond endurance, Camilla hacked into his phone, asked all his girlfriends out, and made Eddie tag along for the show.

Only then did all the women realize Eddie had been stringing them along at the same time. Flying into a rage, they had Eddie badly battered about the head and face.

One of Eddie’s girlfriends recorded the whole scene on video and posted it online. In no time, Eddie was doxed and becam target of cyberbullying.

He finally realized just how crazy he’d been all these years. Eaten up by regrets, he spiraled into a serious depression. Night after night, he was unable to sleep and kept slicing through his arms with a blade, watching the blood trickle down.

His family were worried sick about him, but deep down, they also thought he kind of had it coming.

Even though Eddie had stopped injuring himself now, he was still suffering from severe depression.

At Camilla’s wedding, Eddie fell for a woman named Vicki Shaw at first sight. But she was so pure while he felt tainted to the core, so he didn’t even look at her, as if just a glance would somehow defile her.

Bradley really hoped Eddie could get himself out of it and make a fresh start. Nobody was perfect, and Eddie had already paid dearly for his mistakes,

Eddie just replied: [Brad, it’s very late. Good night.]

Bradley sighed and knew Eddie had to come to terms with it himself, which wasn’t within anyone’s power to help him.

Cameron drifted off to sleep in no time, and found herself having that same dream again in which a boy gently covered her battered body with his jacket. But she still couldn’t see his face clearly.

At midnight Cameron awoke and stared up at the ceiling, lost in thought.

Back then, she’d been framed by Amelia and Skyler for “candid photos” of Elijah, and the Chapman family used that as an excuse to call off the engagement with the Wallace family.

Martin was so irate that he called Cameron home and gave her a thrashing. Her ribs broke, and she even vomited blood before blacking out.

When she finally came round, she was in the hospital. However, apart from herself in the ward, Martin, Heidi, and Milena were all gone.

Cameron was in unbearable pain, but what hurt even more was the overwhelming loneliness in her heart.

Her parents just treated her as a tool to help them climb the social ladder, and no one had ever truly cared about her.

Cameron was always unwelcome wherever she was, and she couldn’t see the point of living.

She ran up to the hospital’s roof terrace for some fresh air. She didn’t want to die, even though she was hated and bullied by everyone. That was just life instinct.

But then, someone suddenly shoved her off the rooftop from behind, killing her on the spot.

She never knew who that boy was-the one who’d brought her a little warmth before her death. As for the person who pushed her off the rooftop and ended her life, she had even less of a clue.

Cameron let out a soft sigh.

It was more than a thousand years ago, just past history. There was no one left for her to repay or take revenge on, even if she wanted to.

Cameron’s gaze wandered, and in the darkness, she glanced at Bradley lying on the couch, who was already asleep.

The couch was far from comfortable, but once fatigue took over, he still managed to drift off.

Cameron hugged the blanket, quietly watching Bradley. A smile touched the corners of her mouth. Before long, she drifted back to sleep.

The next morning, Cameron woke up naturally.

Every day, she woke up right at 6:30 pm-always beating her alarm to it.

As soon as she got up, Bradley, lying on the couch, opened his eyes.

“Good morning.” He sat up, picked up his glasses from the coffee table, and put them on, still bleary-eyed.

“It’s still early, Brad. You can get some more sleep,” Cameron said.

Bradley got up, walked to the bedside and sat down. He took Cameron’s hand, then gently held the back of her head with his other hand to draw her close to him before leaning down and kissing her forehead.

“Did you have a good sleep?” Bradley asked gently.

Cameron nodded. “I slept very well. What about you? Is your back sore?”

Bradley gently ruffled her hair. “I had a good night’s rest too.”

‘No way he actually slept well on that tiny couch,’ Cameron thought, a smile tugging at her lips. In fact, the couch wasn’t small unless it was compared to Bradley’s tall frame.

Cameron got out of bed and went to wash up. Bradley followed and stood in front of the mirror with her.

Cameron lowered her head to brush her teeth, while Bradley, brushing his, kept watching her in the mirror, his eyes full of laughter.

Right then, he and Cameron seemed to have been together for years, and it was just another ordinary morning-waking up and getting washed side by side… Everything was just so nice.

Cameron looked up and caught Bradley grinning in the mirror. “What are you smiling about?”

Bradley put his arm around her waist. “Cam, being with you just makes me so happy, I can’t help but smile.”

Cameron chuckled, “Congratulations, you got what you wanted.”

Once Cameron finished washing up, she stepped out of the bathroom, closely followed by Bradley.

After they both got dressed, Bradley took Cameron’s hand, and they walked downstairs together.

“Breakfast probably isn’t ready yet,” Bradley said.

“Let’s take a walk in the courtyard,” Cameron suggested.

Hand in hand, they walked towards the door and bumped into the butler, who had just gotten up.

The butler greeted them with a beaming smile. “Good morning, Mr. Saunders, Miss Yates.”

“Good morning.” Cameron and Bradley said in unison.

The butler said, “Mr. Saunders, Miss Yates, just a moment, please. I’ll get breakfast ready right away.”

“Just keep it simple,” Cameron reminded, thinking last night’s feast was just too much of a waste..

The butler nodded and headed into the kitchen.

Hand in hand, Bradley and Cameron wandered through the courtyard and smelt the fresh air, bathed in the gentle light of dawn.

Cameron raised her head toward the sunlight, as Bradley put his arms around her waist from behind, her back resting against his broad chest.

Gazing at the rising sun, Bradley sighed softly, “Cam, if only we could watch the sunrise together every day.”

Cameron chuckled, “Brad, that’s not exactly an easy wish to grant.”

“I know it’s not the right moment to talk about this,” Bradley said.

They’d just made it official yesterday, so it wasn’t like they could openly spend all their time together.

Besides, Cameron had her own business to handle, and so did he. At their age, love was no longer the only thing in their lives.

Cameron turned around to face him, gazing up into his deep eyes. “Brad, I mean, there won’t be a sunrise every day.”

Bradley smiled, looking down at her. “You’re right.”

Cameron was also staring at him with a bright, cheerful smile. tooking into each other’s eyes, neither was willing to look away.

Subconsciously, Bradley leaned in and gave her a deep kiss.

Meanwhile, the butler stood in the kitchen, cooking while looking out the window at the two of them smooching. He couldn’t help but smile.

‘Youth really is a good thing,’ he thought. ‘Falling in love is just so wonderful.’

During breakfast, Cameron got a WhatsApp message from Jacqueline. [Cam, bring Brad home for dinner tonight.]

Cameron glanced up at Bradley sitting next to her. “Brad, are you free tonight?”

Without even asking what she wanted him to do, Bradley nodded. “Yeah, I’m free.”

Cameron said, “My mom wants me to bring you home for dinner.”
