“If you like Alpha Corey.” she shrugged.
“I have made this alliance for you Ella, because I believe it will be good for you. Your actions yesterday, put you in danger and going off with your Mate, will keep you from doing something so foolish again.”
Ah! now it made more sense to her “Why do you believe that?”
“Because that Alpha, you clearly antagonised to come after you…and don’t deny it, you told me yourself you did and Beta Jeremy there.” he indicated to the man sitting comfortably on the couch behind her.
Ella turned and glanced over her shoulder at him, he smiled right at her, a cheeky grin she noted, winked right at her playfully, as she had done him earlier. She had a feeling they would get along. Returned her eyes to Alpha Corey, she wouldn’t deny it, she had done it. “reported as much to his Alpha, your Mate. May come back looking for you here. If you’re not here it would be better.”
“hmm.”
“So this mating alliance will stand. I have put my seal on it, as has Luna Lindy, and also Alpha Holdener as well. It has been approved, you will be going with him, for your own safety.”
“I haven’t even seen this agreement, and if you think I am leaving my baby sisters you are mistaken. You will have to be willing to deal with Ky’ra on that one as well. Are you prepared to do that. Any of you?”
“Ella, I have written in a clause about the twins, Blue Moon Rising Pack is only a 5 hour drive away and Alpha Holdener here, has agreed to you coming back, once a month, for a weekend to spend time with them, then once a month Gabby will bring them to you, so you will get to see them every two weeks.”
Ella’s jaw tightened “If I don’t agree still?”
“You will agree Ella. He is your Goddess Gifted Mate and you yourself, know how special that is. Your position, as the Luna yes.”
“Yes!” she nodded, hating him for throwing that at her “But! the man doesn’t even like me.”
“How do you know that?” Holdener said from beside her “you don’t know me.”
“I saw it.” she said simply without looking at him.
“You’re reaction, was exactly the same as mine, if I recall. Perhaps you and I, just need to get to know each other.”
“And perhaps you should just let it go and reject me, find someone else. I’m sure you have a hundred, she-wolves back in your pack itching to be in your bed, probably already been in there in fact. Possibly even more than that.”
“I’m not interested in anyone else. You’re my Mate, I want you.” he stated calmly, ignoring her shot at him, about him basically being a man w***e. “though it is clear, we have a lot to talk about, like what happened to your previous Mate.”
She turned and looked right at him “That is my business, none of your concern.”
“You will be coming with me Ella, I will not be leaving here without you.”
“Might be here a while then.”
She heard him take in a deep breath, he was losing his patience or getting ticked off, at her resistance to their Mate Bond “What do you want from me Ella?” he asked.
She frowned right at him, that was the second time, he’d asked that question. Did he think she wanted him to buy her something, very odd.
“What I want is a choice. Which I am not getting. I also want, to see the agreement for myself. Goddess only knows what demands you’d forced upon me, with that horrid alliance you asked for.”
“Read it, see for yourself. It is all in your favour I believe. Luna Lindy made sure of that seeing as she is now…your mother.”
“What?” that shocked her completely.
His soft chuckle filled the room, and ran a shiver down her spine, Ky’ra purred softly inside her mind, “Oh! look, I know something you don’t. Let me fill you in then. I requested an alliance because your Alpha and his unit, did not believe I could get you to go willingly. Though I would prefer that you chose to come with me willingly. All Mates would. I suggested to Alpha Corey here, that we treat you like his own child, something precious to him. He and Luna Lindy accepted.”
Ella turned her eyes to Luna Lindy, she smiled right at her “My daughter, I made you an excellent deal, I assure you.” she then walked over and handed her the alliance contract.
His name, rank and pack were on it. Her name and unit rank were on it.
‘will this hold up?’ she asked Lindy through the mind-link.
‘yes dear, I left out your real rank because, I thought you’d want to tell him that yourself at some point, and putting it on the contract, would open up a bunch of questions. I don’t know if you want to get into with him, just yet.’
‘Not particularly, I don’t know him.’ she opened the agreement, nearly smiled at the 7 clauses marked as Luna Lindy’s Clauses. Was a little shocked at 4 and 5, wouldn’t that just be natural, most goddess gifted mates were loyal to each other.
He didn’t appear to put anything in other than at least one heir should be granted. Through their bond at some point yet to be determined. She flicked back to Luna Lindy’s clauses, he wasn’t actually allowed to demand and heir from her, she moved back to his clause.
“When it happens.” he clarified for her “I will not ask, apparently not allowed too. But just to let you know a pup, just one would be nice, to take over the pack when the time comes is all.”
“That is the only clause you put in, where I am concerned?” she didn’t believe it
