Hunter closed the door and went back to Madison’s side.
She didn’t show any signs of waking up.
He then placed a palm on her forehead and felt that the fever wasn’t coming down at all.
Hunter looked at the meds with a troubled expression.
How was he going to feed meds to an unconscious person?
After giving it some thought, he felt that there was no better way. In the end, he grounded the meds up and fed them carefully into Madison’s mouth.
Madison’s body reflexively resisted the insertion of foreign objects into her mouth, but she was eventually forced to swallow the meds.
Hunter sighed in relief when he saw that she had swallowed them. He then tucked her in properly and quietly left the room.
