Chapter 353 – She Is The Campus Prince Novel Free Online By Alyssa Fox

His cheeks had gone slightly pink, and his eyes were shut tight.

‘He actually passed out.’

She had told him not to drink so fast. She reached over and gently nudged his head upright so he could sit properly. But the car gave a soft jolt, and Bradley immediately began to tilt again, this time threatening to fall sideways into the backseat.

Cameron caught him by the shoulder just in time.

After a brief pause, she shifted slightly and let his head rest against her shoulder.

‘Guess this is the only way to keep him from toppling over.’ What she didn’t see-what she couldn’t see-was the faint, satisfied smile tugging at the corners of Bradley’s lips.

The car drove quietly through the city, eventually pulling up to the gates of Stellanford University.

“Brad,” Cameron whispered, giving his arm a gentle push.

Bradley frowned slightly but didn’t open his eyes.

Cameron gave him a blank look and then eaned back with a sigh.

The driver turned around. “We’re here, sir.”

Cameron let out a sigh. “Sorry, can we change the destination? Please take us to Noble Vista instead and just adjust the fare.”

The valet drove the car into the underground parking lot of Noble Vista.

Cameron paid the fare, and the driver took off, leaving the car in silence. Just her and Bradley.

“Brad?” Cameron leaned over and gently shook his arm.,

No response.

She let out a sigh.

‘Seriously? That one cocktail knocked him out? Why even go to a bar if your tolerance is that low?’

She considered her options. Ultimately, she decided to bring him into her place, for she didn’t know the passcode to his apartment anyway.

Cameron was five-nine. Bradley stood at six-two. And he was completely deadweight.

Still, she slipped his arm around her neck and anchored him firmly to her side.

His full weight leaned on her, but she didn’t stumble. Her steps we steady.

They made their way to the elevator. As they stood inside, Cameron caught their reflection in the mirrored panel and sighed again.

Once upstairs, she keyed in the code and brought Bradley into her apartment. She led him straight to the master bedroom.

The guest room hadn’t been used in ages. But before Cameron had left last time, she’d covered the master bed with a dust sheet. She pulled it off now, revealing a clean set of sheets underneath.

She carefully eased Bradley onto the mattress. Just as she was about to remove his arm from around her neck, he reflexively tightened it. Cameron lost her balance and fell forward, her face landing squarely against his broad shoulder.

Cameron froze. After a few seconds, she pried his arm off and stood up, rubbing the spot on her cheek where she’d hit him.

She stood in the room for a while longer. Still no sign of Bradley waking up.

With a resigned sigh, she knelt down and took off his shoes. Then she grabbed a warm towel from the bathroom, removed his glasses, and dabbed it clumsily over his face.

When she returned from tossing the towel, she noticed that Bradley had shifted positions.

He was lying on his side now. His white dress shirt, buttoned all the way to the top, clung neatly to his frame. But his twisted posture had it pulled awkwardly across his torso.

Cameron hesitated, then undid the top two buttons, and tugged the blanket over him.

Straightening up, she murmured, “Sleep well, Brad. I’m heading back.”

She still needed to return to the dorm.

The moment the front door clicked shut, the “sleeping” man opened his eyes.

Bradley sat up slowly and reached for his gold-rimmed glasses on the nightstand, sliding them on with unhurried precision.

A sly smile tugged at his lips.

Drunk? From one cocktail? Hardly.

He hadn’t expected Cameron to bring him back to her place, let alone let him sleep in her bed.

‘And I thought he was the neat freak.

She’d not only hauled him inside, she even let him use her bedroom. Tonight had confirmed one thing for Bradley-Cameron didn’t pass fonnt dera

And that was all he needed.

It meant he could move forward.

He was still smiling to himself when his phone buzzed in his pocket.

Bradley pulled it out leisurely.

A number he didn’t recognize.

He hesitated for a few seconds and then picked up. “Hello, who’s this?”

“Bradley Saunders! What the hell did you do to Cameron?!”

Amelia’s voice exploded through the line.

She’d been texting and calling Cameron nonstop with no response.

The fact that Cameron had gone to a bar with Bradley only made her more anxious.

To make matters worse, Bradley had blocked her number.

So now she was calling from Lila’s phone.

Bradley frowned. “Amelia?”

“It’s me.” Amelia said coldly on the other end of the line. “Bradley, where’s Cameron?”

Bradley’s frown deepened. “Why? What’s it to you?”

Just the mention of Cameron’s past engagement with Amelia was enough to sour his mood. He had no interest in wasting his time on her, especially tonight. He’d been in a good mood, until she had to go and ruin it with this call.

Amelia’s voice dropped in tone. “I’m warning you. If you dare lay a finger on Cam, you’ll regret it. Put Cameron on the phone. Now”

Bradley didn’t say a word.

‘Threatening me? Not worth the energy.’

He hung up without another word and, for good measure, added Lila’s number to his block list too.

Then he leaned back against the headboard, the annoyance already fading. Amelia’s outburst was just a blip. What lingered in his mind instead was the feeling of Cameron’s shoulder beneath him, the scent that lingered faintly in the air, clean, soft, and natural.

Not cologne. Not detergent. Just Cameron.

‘Why does a guy even smell that good? Well, doesn’t really matter.’

He smirked and pulled out his phone, dialing Eddie.

It was 11 PM in Viremont. Which meant 10 AM in Montelira.

Eddie was in class.

When he saw the call, he raised a hand, stepped out of the room, and answered with a grin.

“Brad! Missed me already?”

“I need your advice,” Bradley said without preamble.

Eddie perked up. “What kind of advice?”

“How do you usually confess to your girlfriends?”

There was a three-second silence on the line. Then Eddie let out a bark of shocked laughter. “No freaking way. Brad, are you for real? You’re actually going to confess to Cameron?”

“Mhm,” Bradley replied through his nose.

Eddie practically exploded with laughter. “Oh my God. Oh my God. You’re serious!”
