Chapter 326 – She Is The Campus Prince Novel Free Online By Alyssa Fox

Filed to story: That Campus Prince Is a Girl

Cameron ended the video call and opened the door. Jacqueline paused when she saw what Cameron was wearing. “Cam, are you still not used to wearing girls’ clothes?”

Cameron smiled. “I’m used to it, Mom. I really like all the dresses you bought me.”

Jacqueline smiled warmly and gently stroke her cheek. “Sweetheart, college is starting soon. Let’s go buy you a few more things, okay?”

“Mom.” Cameron shook her head. “You don’t need to buy me anything else. You’ve already gotten me so much, and I’ve got everything I need.”

Ever since she returned to Yates Manor, her parents and brothers had been finding reasons to buy her things daily. Sometimes, they didn’t even bother to think of a reason.

Cameron really didn’t lack anything anymore.

“Come on, let’s go shopping for a bit.” Jacqueline smiled and pulled her downstairs.

Levi, Gavin, and Lance were all downstairs. It was fine for Lance to be here as he was on summer break.

But Levi and Gavin had been sticking to Cameron’s side every day lately, like they had nothing better to do.

Cameron sighed, “I really don’t need anything. How about we just go for a walk?”

Gavin grinned. “Cam, how can you say you don’t need anything? You need more clothes.”

Cameron shook her head. “I already have plenty of clothes.”

Gavin said, “But all the clothes we’ve bought you lately are for girls. You should get some guys’ clothes too.”

Lance asked, “Gavin, why would Cam need guys’ clothes? Don’t tell me you want her to keep pretending to be a boy?”

Levi frowned. “That’s ridiculous.” He wouldn’t allow his precious daughter to keep dressing up as a boy.

Gavin kept a straight face. “Calm down, Dad. Think about it. College is starting soon, and Cam’s so cute and pretty. If she shows up looking like this, the guys are gonna be all over her.

“Do you really want Cam to bring some random dude home to visit you?”

Levi blurted out, “Absolutely not.”

Gavin smiled. “So, Cam still has to keep pretending to be a boy.”

Cameron had no words.

Cameron smirked at Gavin. “Aren’t you worried I’ll bring a girlfriend home instead?”

Gavin was rendered speechless.

Lance’s eyes went wide. “A girlfriend? Wait, you don’t actually like girls, do you, Cam?”

Cameron smiled. “A bunch of girls confessed to me on graduation night.”

Now, it was Lance’s turn to be speechless.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline laughed. “I had no idea my daughter was so popular.”

Levi, however, tooked serious. “Sweetheart, you’re not into girls, are you?”

“No.” Cameron shook her head. “Dad, don’t overthink it. I just don’t want to pretend to be a boy anymore, I want to live a normal life.”

She didn’t care if a bunch of boys started chasing after her once she wore girls’ clothes again. Just because they confessed, that didn’t mean she had to say yes.

Honestly, what she wanted more than anything was to stop using the men’s restroom. Trying to deal with that during her period had been an actual nightmare. And the idea of living in the guys’ dorm again just threw her off.

After all, college and high school were different.

High school had been manageable as the boys were still relatively clueless, and she only had to deal with it for three months. But in college, that would be four long years she would have to put up with.

No girl in her right mind would want to live with a bunch of grown men for that long.

“But you’re just so pretty…” Gavin said, looking worried.

Cameron shot back, “What, Gavin. Should I mess up my face before I go to college?”

Gavin panicked, shaking his head quickly. “No, no, no. Cam, don’t even joke about that.”

Lance burst into laughter. “Cam, you’re hilarious.”

Jacqueline smiled. “Alright, Cam’s a girl, and she should look as pretty as she wants. If anyone wants to dress like a boy, let them.”

Levi, however, still looked concerned. “You’re not thinking about having a boyfriend yet, are you?”

Cameron let out a helpless sigh, looked at her dad, and said, “How about this, Dad? Let’s compromise. I won’t dress up like a boy, but I still want to keep my unisex dressing style. Is that okay?”

She really didn’t want to set foot in the boys’ bathroom or dorm ever again.

Jacqueline shot Levi a glare. “Seriously? Cam spent 18 years pretending to be a boy. Isn’t it great she can finally just be a pretty girl?”

Levi grumbled, “You have no idea what goes on in a man’s mind.”

Gavin chimed in, “Dad’s right.”

Jacqueline had no words.

Lance said, “Let Cam decide for herself. It’s her life, and she should do whatever she wants.”

That was just how Lance was the wanted something, he’d chase it without hesitation. He’d herome whoever he part cameran smiled and on her fingers through her short hair. “I want to know what it’s like to have long hai fond

Gavin stared at her doll like features and said without thinking, “You’d took gorgeous.”

Cameron said nothing, but turned her head away, refusing to let Gavin take another look at her.

Gavin was rendered speechless. Meanwhile, Lance nearly doubled over with laughter, slapping his thigh.

In the end, Levi finally gave in. “Alright, sweetheart, do whatever you want. But you must follow this one rule, which is no dating before you graduate college.”

“And who was the one who married me right after college?” Jacqueline teased.

Levi muttered under his breath, “I’m trying to have a serious talk with our daughter here. Can you not embarrass me?” to poke at Levi. “But Dad, love doesn’t exactly follow a schedule. I can’t promise anything”

Jacqueline just laughed while Cameron leaned i

That made Levi solemn instantly, but he just couldn’t bring himself to say a harsh word to his precious daughter.

He changed his request. “Then no dating before you turn twenty.”

Cameron grinned. “No promises.”

Once again, Levi was rendered speechless.

Jacqueline threw an arm around Cameron’s shoulders. “Ignore your dad. If you meet someone you like, go for it. Wait too long and someone else might Swoop HT.”

Cameron was going to college, and Jacqueline thought it was time she had a love life.

Gavin got flustered. “Mom, stop it. There are plenty of good guys out there.”

Lance teased, “Gavin, are you talking about yourself? Since when does being a 25-year-old virgin make you a catch?”.

Gavin widened his eyes in shock at Logan’s words, and his audacity too.

“Logan, watch it. Cam’s still a kid.” Jacqueline quickly

Cameron’s ears.

Levi placed his hand over Jacqueline’s and muttered, “My precious girl didn’t hear a thing.”

Meanwhile, Gavin was already chasing Lance around the house.

In the end, the whole family went out to buy Cameron some clothes and daily necessities.

But instead of boys’ clothes, they picked out some cool, gender-neutral styles.

Before they knew it, it was already August 30th, and Cameron’s classes would start tomorrow.

Jacqueline was helping her pack, and the pile of boxes was out of control. There was no way it would all fit into a dorm room.

So the plan was to store most of it in the house across the street from campus, just in case she needed anything.

Cameron thought it was a bit much, but since it was all from her family, she just went along with it. She wanted to pack by herself, but Jacqueline wouldn’t let her.

“Cam, I never really got to take care of you when you were little. Let me do this for you, okay?” Jacqueline pleaded.

So, Cameron could only stand aside and watch her mom pack everything for her.
