The doctor sank to the floor, his arms over his head.

Rye burst into the room.

Logan and Rye immediately raced after him.
The Oracle peered out the door just in time to see them follow the alpha outside and shut the double doors behind them.
Doctor, move quickly, she snapped.

I think shell wake soon, but Im going to give her a shot to help speed her along.
He gave Abigail an injection, then took out another syringe and drew some blood.

He went to clean the tiny drop of blood off her inner arm.
Stop! the Oracle barked out.
If he smells her blood on you, hell kill you.
If hesees the blood, hell kill me! Ill clean her up.

Hes coming back, and hes pissed.
The Oracle smirked as the doctor scrambled out of the room.
Then she wiped up Abbys tiny drop of blood and rubbed Romans shirt over the wound.
She flushed the tissue and washed her hands with unscented soap.
She was drying her hands when a naked alpha burst through the door.

Roman was feral.
His eyes were still glowing, his body was streaked with dirt and sweat, and his alpha power and smell were heavy in the air.
But he didnt want to bother putting clothes on until he looked at Abby, made sure she was okay.
He felt her nudge him in the link, her voice weak but there.

Abby took in a long, deep breath, and began to purr.
When she curled back up, he visibly relaxed.
