The relief and excitement in his shining eyes grew even further.
“Yes… Jacob McMiller, I will marry you…” I said. God! I really said that…

“Yes, Sarah… I need some more time… We are getting so close to the election. I hope everything will be fine after that… I don’t really know how much more troubles we may have to go through before that. They are ready to do anything to defeat my dad… So I may have to do things to protect him…Your understanding and trust are crucial to me… But I promise I will make up to you for all of these things one day….” he said softly.
“All the good things happen with patience, Jake… Let’s wait and see…” I said confidently.
“Yes… But I can’t be patient to finish one thing that I started… ” he said, smiling playfully. Then he put his arms around my waist and pulled me towards him.
“My beautiful princess, are you ready to finish what we started that night in this very house?” he whispered…
My face must be looked like a ripened tomato, there is no doubt…
“Now we are engaged… So we have surely bound to each other… But I want to make you mine in every way that is possible… As I said, I need a lot of things from my fianc?e… Will you give them to me, princess…” he had his lips so closed to mine, and I could even felt his warm breath on my face…

“Really… If you say so, you know what I will do?” he asked.
