I heard my phone rang… It was from Jake…

“Hello…” I said, trying my best to hide I was crying.
“Were you crying?” his concerned voice raised. I can’t hide anything from him.

“How is Luke?” I asked after the silence.
“He is still unconscious, Sarah… But doctors said he will get conscious soon…” he said.
“How are his parents. Mrs.Bernards must be really worried…”
“She even fainted… But now she is a bit okay…”

“Shane is so worried too. He didn’t even eat anything. I didn’t even think he cares about anyone this much…” Jake said.
“It seems like this incident changed him a lot,” I replied.
