Soren let out a muffled grunt as he slammed into the wall-mounted TV. As he slid to the floor, the TV came crashing down and landed squarely on him, making him let out a pained groan.

For the next half hour, Gavin beat the crap out of Soren.

Soren had no choice but to take Gavin’s one-sided beating. He couldn’t fight back, and he could only resort to empty threats.

“Gavin, don’t think you can do whatever you want just because you’ve got some dirty money! I’m gonna sue you and make sure you rot in jail!

“Britney! You think you’ve latched onto…/Ouch… Britney! You and Gavin are from completely different worlds… Ah! Ah! He’s just playing with you!

“Britney, you gold-digging bitch… Oww… Ah!”

Just thinking about what Soren had tried to do to Britney made Gavin feel furious. Without a second thought, he kicked Soren hard right between the legs.

Soren froze, eyes bulging in utter shock.

His face turned deathly pale in an instant. He was trembling all over, his mouth hanging wide open, but he couldn’t make a sound.

“Gavin…” Britney whispered.

Seeing Soren like that, she was clearly frightened. She instinctively clung to Gavin’s arm.

“Don’t worry. I’m right here,” Gavin said softly, holding her close.

“Is… Is he gonna be okay?” Britney asked nervously, glancing at Soren with a worried look.

Soren was covered in his own nosebleed. His face was swollen and bruised, looking so pale.

Of course, Britney wasn’t really worried about Soren himself. She was just afraid that if something actually happened to him, Gavin would get dragged into trouble.

“He won’t die,” Gavin replied flatly.

He pulled out his phone and called the police.

The police showed up quickly and took all three of them to the police station.

Gavin and Britney were there to give their statements.

Soren confessed to the attempted rape without even trying to deny it.

A few months later, he was sentenced to eight years in prison.

A year later, Britney finally knew in her heart that Gavin was someone she could truly count on. The two of them ended up together.

The day after their wedding, Britney brought Gavin to visit her parents’ grave.

She held Gavin’s hand tightly, looking at the tombstone of her parents with a gentle smile. “Mom, Dad, I’ve finally found someone l can truly rely on for the rest of my life, so you don’t have to worry about me anymore.”

Gavin held Britney’s hand tightly for a moment, and then gently let go.

He bowed deeply in front of the tombstone. “You can rest easy now. I swear I’ll take good care of Britney. I’ll make sure she lives the rest of her life filled with happiness.”

Suddenly, two butterflies landed on Gavin’s arm, their wings beating nonstop.

Britney covered her mouth, her eyes filled with tears as she stared at the butterflies right in front of her.

Gavin stood up and wrapped her tightly in his arms.

The two colorful butterflies circled around them. It was only when the two left that the butterflies slowly flew away.

(End of Gavin and Britney’s story)

At Peyton’s third birthday party, Bradley and Cameron invited Xander, Austin, and Elijah.

Bradley and Cameron’s son was already three, but the three guys were still single.

Bradley raised his champagne glass and shot the three of them a look. “So, you guys really planning to stay single forever?”

Xander, dressed in a black shirt, looked calm and composed, his presence almost intimidating. He arched an eyebrow at Bradley. “Why not let the forve Cameron instead?”

Bradley’s eyes narrowed. “Are you looking for a beating?”

Xander let out a low chuckle, glancing over at Cameron, who was busy coaxing Peyton. He took a slow sip of his drink, a faint smile on his lips,

Cameron was dressed in a flowing white dress today, her waist-length hair cascading smoothly down her back. With her back to Xander and the others, she was softly talking to an adorable little boy.

That kid was, of course, her and Bradley’s son, Peyton.

Even just from behind, one could feel how gentle she was in that moment.

Xander still remembered that aloof and handsome boy Cameron had pretended to be years ago.

Years had slipped by, and everything from back then had faded like smoke.

Xander finally tore his eyes away.

Elijah still looked as cool and distant as ever. Years had passed, but time hadn’t left much of a mark on him.

He held his glass and said lightly, “I haven’t met the right person yet.”

Austin’s short blond hair shone brightly in the sunlight. He glanced at Elijah. “Eli, don’t set your standards so high. If you keep comparing everyone to Cam, you’ll never find someone.”

Elijah pressed his lips together. He only glanced over at Cameron from a distance, and then quickly averted his gaze.

Bradley turned to Austin and asked, “And you?”

With a faint smile on his distinctly mixed-race face, Austin said, ‘Brad, I’m not in a hurry. Thirty is a man’s prime, you know. Let me shine for a couple more years before I even think about settling down.”

“Daddy.”

All of a sudden, a pair of tiny hands wrapped themselves around Bradley’s right leg.

It was Peyton.

Peyton was fair-skinned and sturdy. Even though he was only three, he was already as tall as a kid of four or five.

Today, he was dressed in a tailored two-piece suit, looking quite the gentleman.

Of course, that was all just for show.

Peyton was a real troublemaker, and Cameron had to give him at least three beatings a day just to keep him in line.

Bradley scooped him up.

He then introduced Xander, Elijah, and Austin to Pevin and asked Peyton to greet them

Before Peyton could even sen his mouth, yander, who had been eyeing the bid for a white, suddenly said. “Brad, it cant seed i had real as a d be better looking than this little boy.”

Bradley’s face darkened.

Peyton’s eyes spun mischievously as he asked, “Daddy, are they the ones you always bear?”

Bradley was stunned upon hearing these words.

“Ahem…” Elijah cleared his throat, a hint of annoyance in his voice.

Xander gritted his teeth.

Austin burst out laughing. “You little smartass, who do you think you take after?”

“Peyton, don’t talk nonsense,” Cameron said as she walked over and gave Peyton a playful swat on the head.

Peyton stuck his tongue out at Cameron, being a total little rascal.

“If you keep acting up, I’ll spank you!” Cameron threatened.

Peyton instantly put on a pitiful face and burrowed into Bradley’s arms.

Bradley set him down and gave his head a gentle pat. “Go play.”

Peyton scampered off happily to join his friends.

Austin stared at Cameron and let out a sigh. “Cam, you’re so ladylike these days. I can hardly recognize you.”

Cameron arched an eyebrow. “Do you still want to see me dressed like a man?”

Xander’s eyes darkened with a glint. “Can you still pull it off?”

Elijah also looked at Cameron, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he remained stent

Austin, looking interested, grinned and said, “Cam, honestly, I really miss those days when you were pulling off that while gir? dequis

Bradley pulled Cameron into his arms possessively. “Don’t get your hopes up. That’s not happening again

Cameron leaned against Bradley’s shoulder and smiled. “Well, it’s not like I can’t wear men’s clothes.

An hour later.

Xander, Elijah, and Austin were all wide-eyed in shock.

Cameron came out dressed in men’s clothes.

Bradley had bought her that outfit back in high school, and she’d kept it all this time.

Cameron was wearing a white T-shirt and a pair of ripped jeans.

This was her go-to look back in high school.

All these years later, even after having a kid, she was still as slim as ever.

She wore a super realistic short wig.

When she walked out with a faint smile, Xander, Elijah, and Austin felt like they were right back in high school.

Only Bradley stood there with one hand in his pocket, his eyes twinkling with amusement behind those gold-rimmed glasses.

He didn’t miss the Cameron from back then, because Cameron belonged to him now, and always would.

Only those who have lost or never had something would feel nostalgic.

“Hi, I’m Cameron Wallace,” Cameron said, reaching out her hand to Elijah.

Back when she first moved into Dormitory 316, Elijah was the first person she met. He’d even warned her not to disturb his studies.

Elijah snapped out of his daze and slowly reached out to shake her hand, his arm trembling slightly.

Cameron was a bit of a neat freak, so this was actually the first time Elijah had ever held her hand.

He released her hand in a gentlemanly manner.

Xander clenched his fist and tapped Cameron’s palm.

Only he knew just how hard he was squeezing his own fingers.

Austin pulled Cameron into a side hug, grinning. “It feels like my Cam is really back!”

“Huh? Who’s he?”

Peyton had somehow run over again, staring at Cameron with wide, curious eyes.

Cameron picked him up and lowered her voice on purpose. “Who do you think tam?”

Peyton studied Cameron for a while, and said, “You look a lot like my mommy, but also kind of like Uncle Lance.”

Cameron in men’s clothes really did look a lot like Lance.

Cameron chuckled, “You little rascal.”

“Mommy)” Peyton’s eyes went wide. “Mommy, how did you turn into a boy? You look so cool!”

Everyone burst out laughing..

Cameron planted a kiss on Peyton’s fair little cheek.

“Mommy, give me a kiss on this side too!” Peyton turned his right cheek toward Cameron, waiting expectantly.

Even though he was quite naughty, he both loved and feared Cameron.

Cameron laughed and gave him a kiss on his right cheek as well.

She then put him down. “Go play.”

But Peyton wrapped his arms around her leg. “No, I want to play with you!”

Bradley ruffled his hair.

“Daddy!” Peyton grabbed Bradley’s hand.

When Xander saw how happy the three of them looked, a faint smile flickered in his eyes.

Elijah’s lips curved into a faint smile as well.

Austin crossed his arms and said, “Brad, Cam, you two look so happy. It actually makes me want to find someone too.”

Because of his unhappy childhood, Austin had never dared to hope for anything when it came to marriage.

But upon seeing the happy scene of Cameron and her family, he was suddenly touched.

Bradley grinned, “Better not wait too long.”

After Peyton’s birthday party wrapped up, Xander, Elijah, and Austin headed out.

Peyton was so worn out from all the fun that he just crashed right there on the grass.

Pearl curled up beside him, keeping him company.

Cameron and Bradley were also sitting not far from Peyton.

The night was peaceful and still beneath the starry sky.

Cameron was still dressed in men’s clothes.

Bradley turned to look at her, his gaze tender and full of longing. Cameron beamed at him.

Bradley’s gaze slid from her smiling eyes down to her beautiful lips that were as lovely as petals.

He leaned in slowly, and Cameron, knowing exactly what he wanted, hooked her arm around his neck and pressed her lips to his.

Bradley still remembered the first time he saw Cameron dressed as a guy. The first thing that popped into his head was that her lips were made for kissing.

Now, his wish had finally come true.
