Sienna stared at him in surprise, while Amelia and Lila exchanged curious looks.

Lila blurted out, “Why aren’t you leading up?”

The staff smiled professionally. “Please take your seats as indicated on your tickets.”

He turned back to Sienna, still respectful. “This way, please.”

Sienna, Lila, and Amelia were all confused.

Sienna knew the ticket was from Cameron and wondered if there was something special about it, but she stayed silent

Eventually, she was escorted to the best seat in the venue, with the letter “C” stuck on the backrest. On both sides sat fashion industry influencers.

As soon as Sienna sat down, they turned to her, and some began handing her business cards. One said, “Hello, nice to meet you. I’m Abby Wright from

Oula Fashion.”

Sienna was confused but politely took the business card. “Hi, I’m Sienna James. Nice to meet you.”

Abby paused, then quickly reacted. “I’ve heard so much about you.”

Sienna’s name sounded similar to C. Abby hadn’t expected C to be so young and shy. Though unassuming, C was talented and full of flair. In their industry, judging by appearance was the last thing they should do.

More people soon approached Sienna, greeting her and handing over cards.

Completely dazed, Sienna could only respond to them politely.

Lila and Amelia sat three or four rows away.

Lila asked, “Why are they being so nice to Sienna?”

Amelia had scanned the venue multiple times for Cameron and Bradley but found no trace. She thought, ‘Did they not come to the show? Or was I hallucinating just now?’

At Lila’s question, Amelia turned away and said flatly, “They’re not flattering Sienna-they’re flattering Cameron.”

“What?” Lila was confused.

Amelia explained, “Her ticket was Cameron’s.”

Lila gasped. “Right! Cameron is amazing!”

Amelia didn’t reply. She texted Cameron. Amelia: [We’re here. Sienna got special treatment with your ticket. What’s going on?]

Cameron, watching from the VIP room on the second floor, saw Sienna’s treatment clearly and texted back. Cameron: [Because of C.]

Amelia: [C? Is C the Starry designer your friend?]

Cameron: [It’s me.]

Amelia: [What do you mean it’s you?]

Cameron: [C is my alias.]

Amelia was stunned, taking a moment to process what Cameron just said.

She turned to Lila, who was still staring at Sienna. “Lila,” Amelia said.

Lila still stared at Sienna. “Amelia, look how they’re fawning over Sienna.”

Amelia handed her phone to Lila. “Read this.”

Lila took it and saw the messages. She let out a shriek, drawing glares from around them. She stood to apologize. “Sorry, everyone! So sorry!”

Hyperventilating with excitement, Lila grabbed Amelia’s arm. “Is this real? Cameron is C? Pinch me-I must be dreaming!”

Amelia rolled her eyes. “If Cameron isn’t lying, yes.”

Lila exclaimed, “She’d never lie! She’s been hiding this?! My idol is right in my dorm! From today, Cameron is my hero!”

Amelia laughed at Lila’s exaggeration. Cameron deserved the praise-she was exceptional.

The VIP room’s one way glass. Inside was a cozy lounge with a coffee table full of pastries, fruit, and a hot caramel latte.

Bradley stuck a straw into the latte and handed it to Cameron. “Lots of people here”

Cameron put away her phone after texting Amelia. “Thanks. They have latte here?”

Bradley smiled. “This is Eric’s venue. You can get anything you want.”

“Is Eric not here today?” Cameron asked.

Bradley nodded. “He has exams these and

Cameron sipped her latte slowly, offering praise. “Eric is only twenty-impressive.” A college student already heading a listed company.

Bradley smiled. “My eldest brother is the real genius in our family.”

“You’re amazing, too, Brad,” Cameron said.

His smile grew wider at the compliment.

As they chatted, the host took the stage. After a brief speech by a company executive, models walked out in Cameron’s The Starry collection, illuminated by music and lights.

The venue erupted in praise. “Wow! Breathtaking, absolutely stunning.”

“I want to buy all these pieces right now.”

“Models are so tall and skinny-will these look good on us?”

“Even if not, I’ll buy them to hang in my closet! They’re so beautiful.”

Sienna was also amazed by The Starry collection. Owning one piece would make her incredibly happy.

“Ms. James, you’re incredible-I bet The Starry will be a huge hit,” Abby, sitting beside Sienna, leaned in to praise earnestly.

Only then did Sienna realize why everyone had flocked to her. No one had ever been so attentive, leaving her overwhelmed.

Despite her good grades, her introverted nature and lack of social skills meant few friends. Now, she sensed something was wrong.

“Wait, I’m sorry, you think I designed The Starry?” Sienna shook her head. “I’m not the designer. You’ve mixed me up with someone else.”

“What?” Abby was now confused.

Just then, the first round of the show ended, and the host returned. “Now, let’s welcome the creator of The Starry collection, Ms. C, to share her inspiration. Applause, please.”

The audience burst into cheers. A spotlight fell on Sienna, making her the center of attention. She froze.

Amelia frowned. She thought, ‘The organizers are so incompetent-they can’t even identify the right person.’

Lila shouted, “That’s not her! You got the wrong person!”

“Quiet,” someone nearby snapped, irritating Lila.

“Welcome Ms. C!” the host repeated when Sienna didn’t move. Reluctantly, she stood up under the crowd’s gaze.

“What’s going on?” Bradley frowned in the VIP room. “Cameron, who is that?”

“That’s my roommate. I gave her my ticket,” Cameron said calmly.

“They mistook her for you,” Bradley said.

“My bad-I forgot to tell the organizers,” Cameron replied.

Bradley immediately took out his phone to call and correct the mistake:

At the same time, Sienna said, “I’m sorry, everyone. I’m not Ms. C. A classmate gave me this ticket-you’re mistaken.

The audience gasped in surprise. Those who had flattered Sienna earlier were now awkwardly silent.

The host, though caught off guard, recovered quickly. “Then, may I ask where Ms. C is?”

“She had something else to do and couldn’t come,” Sienna said.

The crowd was very disappointed, so the host fumbled through polite remarks to salvage the situation.

The small episode passed quickly. The second half of the show continued. Though everyone wondered about C, the focus shifted back to the design themselves.

Bradley adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses, eyeing the bustling venue below. “Aren’t you going to make an appearance?”
