Herman didn’t mind. He could tell that Jethro liked Elspeth, and a big smile curled his lips. “Didn’t think you’d attract young lads.” He’s about five or six years younger than she is, and he’s quite possessive.
Elspeth rolled her eyes. “Your job is to film, not tease.”
“I’m not teasing. Look at him. If looks could kill, I’d be dead by now.”
Elspeth turned around and saw Jethro glaring at Herman like he killed someone Jethro loved. It was accurate to say that Jethro wore his heart on his sleeve. “Jethro!”
Only then did Jethro move his gaze away.
“Calm down, lad. I’m here to shoot, and I’m not interested in your big sister. I’m married.” He raised his hand, showing off the big diamond ring on his finger.
Jethro finally calmed down and beamed at Herman. “You should’ve opened with that.”

The three of them were chatting happily, while Skylar-who came late because she went to reapply her makeup-was ignored. She looked at Jethro, who was waving at her with a smile, and she blushed. She then trotted over to him.
Elspeth saw her off, but she had a weird feeling about the girl. She seems different than I expected. However, she got rid of that thought soon enough. The short’s filming took priority, so everything else can wait. Elspeth combed through her hair with her fingers and followed the girl.
Herman told them about his style of filming and the content, and the leads agreed to it. However, the shooting process wasn’t smooth. For some reason, Skylar wasn’t good at smiling. Her smile was tense and stiff. No matter what kind of tip she was given, her smile remained stiff.
Left with no choice, Herman went the roundabout way and avoided filming the front of her face as much as possible. After much difficulty, they finished filming the first video. The post-production would also be handled by Herman.
Elspeth bade Herman goodbye, but before he left, he smiled mysteriously. Elspeth shrugged it off. After she took Skylar and Jethro back to the company, she received a text from Herman. ‘That girl isn’t as nice as she looks.’
Elspeth stared at the text. Even Herman noticed it? She was reminded of that evil smile on Skylar’s face earlier, and she was shocked. I think I should keep a closer eye on her.
Surprisingly, the video was well received once it was uploaded. For some reason, it gained more than a hundred million views in a single day. The traffic was unbelievable, and Skylar and Jethro’s number of fans grew exponentially. Most of the comments under the video were made by shippers.

Now that the video had gained popularity, it meant that Jethro and Skylar had to keep working together for some time. The success of the video was thanks to everyone’s efforts, so Elspeth wanted to treat everyone to dinner and give them a bonus.
She called Herman to invite him to the dinner, but Herman declined the invitation.
“I don’t have time. I’m abroad with my wife. You have fun.”

That annoyed Elspeth. When she next called Jethro, she snapped,
“What are you doing?”
“I’m with Skylar.”
Jethro looked at Skylar, who was nearly going to hug him, and he felt resigned. How on earth can I escape her?
“Ah. Someone’s trying to actually date,”
Elspeth said gently. If they can be a couple in real life, then it won’t just be an act. The fans can accept their relationship better too.

“Check your phone when you get home. I have a surprise for you.”
Jethro and Skylar’s phones rang, and Skylar took a quick glance. She just gave me a hundred and fifty grand! A hundred and fifty grand! She had never had this much money before. Skylar patted her chest. At least I’m working with a good boss now.
“We’re going home just like that?”
Jethro asked.
Elspeth looked at him.
“What else do you want?”
“Why don’t we go to a bar? I mean, you can refuse if you want.”
Skylar shook her head. She had never gone to a bar before.
“We shouldn’t go there. It’s dangerous.”
Skylar was always disciplined, especially when it came to this. She then looked at Jethro seriously.
“You should stay away from bars, Jethro. It’s filled with all kinds of bad guys. You don’t want to run into any dangerous situation.”
Skylar was clear that someone like Jethro must frequent bars, but she said that just so she would leave a good impression on him. She put on an innocent smile.
Elspeth held her forehead. It won’t be dangerous. Nobody’s going to touch them while I’m there, but I shouldn’t drag an innocent girl into a bar.
“She’s right. Let’s go home.”
“I’ll give you a ride, then,”
said Jethro.
