“Who said I’m going to sue her? The law can punish those who sin, but bitches like her will often escape the clutches of the law.”
A cold glint shimmered in Alyssa’s eyes as she looked at the shirtless cheating couple. “Send those photos to Mrs. Farley.”
“Ms. Alyssa, I’ve heard that Mrs. Farley is very skilled in martial arts,” said Sean in an intrigued manner.
“Isn’t that just perfect for her? It’s a free opportunity for her to practice her skills.”
Alyssa discreetly extended her hand into Sean’s suit pocket to retrieve some chocolate.
“I’ve already gotten rid of her father. So, I don’t want to get directly involved with her. Otherwise, I’ll end up like those soap opera villains,” said Alyssa.
Out of the blue, Sean’s hand shot to his pocket and held her mischievous hand beneath the layers of his suit.
With a gentle tone, he advised, “Ms. Alyssa, it’s best not to eat too much. I’m concerned it could adversely affect your teeth.”
Later that night, Jeremy sat in his office, waiting for news from Xavier. He wasn’t in a rush to return to Seaview Manor, even though he had finished his work.
Finally, Xavier returned with a joyous expression.
“Mr. Walsh, Madam Allison has finally apprehended the traitor on their team! They’ve already handed him over to the police.”
“Alright,” Jeremy responded calmly. He finally felt at ease now..
“We don’t know whether Madam Allison used the information you emailed her.”
“It doesn’t matter if she didn’t.”
Jeremy’s eyes dimmed as he thought of that daring woman. “What I provided her was just icing on the cake. Even without the information I gave her, she would’ve handled this matter perfectly with her abilities.”
He had underestimated his ex-wife. He realized he had thought of Alyssa as a dull woman who knew nothing except for cooking.
Now, it seemed like he had not only been blind but also incredibly foolish.
Jeremy’s mistaken perception of Alyssa was unquestionably deserving of a spot in the hall of shame.
Right at that moment, the intercom rang. Jeremy put the call on speaker. “What is it?”
“Mr. Walsh, Ms. Alyssa’s secretary is here to see you. He didn’t have an appointment. Should we send him away?”
Xavier rolled his eyes upon learning that Sean was here. He despised Sean very much, and their relationship resembled that of cats and dogs-in a perpetual state of conflict.
“Let him in,” ordered Jeremy in a cold and composed tone.
The opportunity to meet the esteemed president of the Walsh Group was a rare privilege. However, Sean was connected to Alyssa, so Jeremy was willing to make an exception.
A few minutes later, Sean entered the office with a stoic expression.
“Mr. Walsh, I came under Ms. Alyssa’s orders to deliver something to you,” said Sean as he placed at white box on Jeremy’s desk.
“What’s inside?” Jeremy’s gaze was fixed on the box.
“A bomb,” Sean replied indifferently.
Jeremy pursed his lips, finding himself at a loss for words.
“Hey, do you think you’re funny?” Xavier couldn’t tolerate Sean at all. He was such a lackey for Alyssa. He retorted, “If it really is a bomb, do you think you can get past the security check at the Walsh Group’s entrance?”
Sean sneered at him. “So why did Mr. Walsh ask in the first place? You just have to keep in mind that it’s nothing dangerous. Ms. Alyssa gave it to you, so just accept it.”
Xavier gritted his teeth and thought to himself that the person in front of him might seem decent, but he could be quite an asshole when speaking.
Jeremy pressed his lips together firmly as he opened the box with curiosity.
Indeed, there wasn’t anything dangerous in it. Instead, a mousse cake shaped like a dog’s head was in it. He smiled unwittingly.
“Did Ms. Alyssa make this herself?” He seemed composed, but a hint of joy in his eyes gave him away.
“Huh, how can you even entertain such a thought, Mr. Walsh? Ms. Alyssa told me to buy it for you. Do you still think you’re worthy of Ms. Alyssa’s cooking?” Sean mocked.
Jeremy was dumbfounded, his jaw clenched tight.
“You’re speaking in vain. It’s not as if Ms. Alyssa never cooked for Mr. Walsh. If he wasn’t worthy, how could she have done so for three years?” Xavier snapped angrily. He could no longer hold back his anger.
Sean glanced at Jeremy with disdain. “Allison might make dog food, but that’s not the case for Ms. Alyssa.”
Xavier was utterly infuriated. He clenched his fists, ready to throw a punch at him. “How dare you!”
“That’s enough, Xavier,” Jeremy called a halt to his actions. Instead, he questioned Sean sternly, “Why did Alyssa send me this?”
“Ms. Alyssa sent me here to tell you that she has already received the anonymous email you sent. This is what she gave you in return.”
Jeremy was stunned for a while. She already knew? So soon?
“Ms. Alyssa sent this cake to remind you not to treat her like a fool, She’s incredibly smart an extremely talented people around her. She doesn’t need a strategist who’s as dense as a dog.”
and has
Once Sean had finished his sentence, he didn’t even bother to excuse himself. He simply turned and left the office right away.
“Strategist who’s as dumb as a dog. Was he talking about you?”
Jeremy thought that even if it had been that apparent, he did not need to point it out.
Xavier finally realized what he had blurted out when he saw Jeremy’s grim expression. His face turned pale in an instant, and he timidly retreated to the corner of the wall.
In a certain hotel’s luxury suite, Abigail was riding through hell and high water to upgrade her way of life.
“Fuck! You’re so good, Daddy!” Abigail moaned, panting against Matthew Farley. Glistening sweat rolled down their skin.
“That’s it, doll… I love it when you call me that. Come on, who’s your Daddy?” Matthew groaned, spouting out the entire spectrum of filth that was dirty talk.
All Abigail wanted was for him to finish, however. It wasn’t the first time she had slept with someone to get a promotion. This time, it was to become the general manager of the news department she was in.
Just when the finish line was in sight, the hotel room door was unexpectedly thrown open.
Abigail shrieked, quickly diving under the covers.

Matthew, meanwhile, hurriedly pulled on his underwear. A chilling sensation shot down his spine like icy spikes as he turned to see who was at the door.
“H-Honey?”
“So this is the whore you’ve been sleeping with, Matthew Farley? Aurora Cristole, Matthew’s wife, cried. She glared menacingly at Abigail, looking at her up and down.
Aurora was a wom was a woman of nearly five foot seven, while Abigail was not. The latter qualled when the woman shrugged off her coat, revealing broad shoulders that spoke of a diligent gym routine.
“Here I was, thinking she would be nice on the eyes. Where did you find this piece of roadkill?”
Aurora then stormed over and dragged Abigail out of the bed by her hair, slapping her hard on the cheeks.
Abigail’s lip split open, and blood seeped out, staining the corners of her mouth.
“Ah! Help me, Mr. Farley!” Abigail screamed in pain.
But Matthew didn’t dare. He stayed on the floor, quaking in sheer fright.
Just then, Aurora’s assistant walked into the room, flanked by two burly guards.
“Breaking news! My boss’ husband, Director Matthew Farley, has been caught red-handed for sleeping with his subordinate! What a vixen! What a cheat! Don’t miss out on this news now!”
The woman was live-streaming the scene..
Abigail and Matthew were utterly shocked.
“Huh, how can you even entertain such a thought, Mr. Walsh? Ms. Alyssa told me to buy it for you. Do you still think you’re worthy of Ms. Alyssa’s cooking?” Sean mocked.
