This time, Danika stood on Old Mr.Quincey’s side.
“Just let him go.The air in Orchid Village is fresh.His mood might improve over there.”

Old Mr.Quincey praised.He glared at Eustace.
Eustace was speechless.It was as if Danika was his grandchild and not him.
“You two have already decided on it.What else can I say?”

As they made their decision, Danika received a call from Joey Little.She was surprised.
“Joey?”
“Are you in Parrington, Danika?”
Joey’s voice sounded through the receiver.He had seen Danika’s post on social media.
Once he knew that she was in Parrington, he called her at once.
“Yeah.”
Then she asked, “How are your studies lately? The final exams are coming soon.Are you well prepared?”
“Lam.I won’t let you down,” Joey said.
Danika was satisfied with that.
Although helping Joey was a casual gesture on her part, it was enough to change the course of his life.
Danika was very happy about it.
“Why don’t I treat you to dinner, Danika? It’s been a while since I’ve seen you.”
Joey was hesitant, but he finally invited her out.He was anxious and afraid that she would reject him.However, Danika accepted it immediately.
“Alright.I’ll treat you to dinner.”
Afterward, they settled on a time and date before hanging up.
Danika turned to see Eustace looking at her, upset.
“Was that the kid you helped?”
“Yes.He wants to treat me to dinner.He’s grown up so much.What a good kid,” Danika said, smiling happily.
Eustace was not as happy as she was.
“Why does he want to treat you to dinner? Does he have other intentions?”
“Eustace! What are you thinking?”
Danika glared at him.He was absurd.
Joey was just a child in her eyes.
What else could he be thinking? “I don’t care.I’m going with you tonight.”
He would never let Danika eat alone with that kid.
Logically speaking, he was supposed to be at ease.He and Danika were about to marry, after all.
However, Eustace was not relaxed at all.
The closer they were to their wedding date, the more anxious he felt.He did not want anything to disrupt their marriage.

Danika and Eustace walked into the restaurant at night.She was unable to stop Eustace from coming in the end.She didn’t think that Joey would mind.
“Danika.”
Joey immediately smiled and waved at her when he saw her coming in, but when he saw Eustace behind her, his smile dimmed.
Danika hadn’t noticed it, but Eustace had.He sneered inwardly.Now, he was confident in his speculation that Joey had other intentions with Danika.
They sat down.
Then, Danika asked in embarrassment, “Eustace didn’t have anywhere else to eat, so I brought him here.You don’t mind, do you?”
“It’s alright.We can ask for another set of utensils.” Joey smiled.
Although he minded, he had to keep up the act.
Danika wasn’t surprised by this.But Eustace smiled in glee when he saw that Joey was unhappy.Very quickly, Joey called the waiter over and ordered a few dishes.
“Don’t underestimate this restaurant because it’s small, Danika.Their food tastes amazing.You’ll definitely love them.”
“Yes.I love Parrington’s food,” Danika said.
When she saw how many customers the restaurant had, she guessed their food was good.
While waiting for their food to arrive, Danika asked Joey about his studies.
When she knew that he was top of the class every year, she felt happy.
“Which university are you planning to go to, Joey?” she asked.
Joey had considered this question many times, but he could not decide.
“Since you’re with the Zellwegers, does that mean you won’t be coming to Parrington anymore?”
Parrington University was good, but if Danika wasn’t coming back, Joey didn’t want to stay there any longer.
“Not exactly.I just won’t be living here.”
Danika didn’t know what he was thinking and replied honestly.
Once he knew that, he said, “I’m preparing to study at Bardoff University.”
“Really? That’s great.” Danika nodded.
Bardoff University was among the top universities in the country.
With Joey’s results, he would have no trouble getting in.
Joey scratched the back of his head awkwardly.
“I’m planning to stay in Bardoff City.I might even be able to help out the Zellwegers.”
“You don’t have to do that, Joey.” Danika frowned.
“I sponsored you so that you could be your own person.You don’t have to make your decisions because of me.”
“That’s not what I meant, Danika.I just think that working at Zellweger Inc might be nice.I might not even be able to get into such a large company.” Joey smiled, not letting Danika read too much into it.
Danika glanced at him.She couldn’t tell if anything was amiss.
“You can try getting in, but I hope you’re following your heart and not changing your mind based on what anyone else thinks.”
“Don’t worry, Danika.I get it.”
Joey nodded, unable to meet her gaze.He was lying.He had chosen to go to Bardoff City and to work in Zellweger Inc because of Danika.
