She wouldn’t know how to respect people.”

Someone’s comfort for Jolene was definitely a pointed jab toward Danika.

Jolene smirked and looked at Danika, hoping to catch her looking uncomfortable.

But what a pity, she saw nothing.

Danika looked as cool as a cucumber.

The others were stunned to see that Danika was not responding.

They were doubtful of her calm demeanor.

“Let’s just get ready for the party so we won’t be late,”

someone said.

Jolene nodded.

Although upset, she told Danika, “Danika, you can pick out a dress from here, and a stylist will help you with the rest.”

“Okay,”

Danika responded nonchalantly.

Jolene was utterly speechless.

What was Danika pretending for? She wouldn’t even be able to try on these dresses if not for Jolene.

They sat down and began making themselves pretty.

A hairstylist came over to help Danika with her look.

She was preparing to curl her hair into ringlets, and Danika stopped her at once.

“Change the curling iron to one of 32 millimeters.

I don’t like ringlets.”

“Please trust our skills, Miss,”

she said, wishing to still curl her hair into ringlets.

Danika frowned and grabbed her wrist.

“I said, change the curling iron.

Do you understand?”

It was a sudden movement.

Jolene and the rest had seen it, and their expressions were hideous.

“What are you doing?”

Jolene was furious.

Even she dared not anger these stylists.

Where did Danika get her balls from? This was a famous styling salon in Bardoff City.

One required more than money to step in here.

Don’t Be Too Cheeky Danika turned and looked over at Jolene.

Coldly, she said, Need I report everything to you?”

“You!”

Jolene was angered once more.

Danika was her arch – nemesis! “The stylists here are all professional, Jolene’s sister.

You must believe in their tastes.

You can do it yourself if you don’t trust them,”

someone said huffily, pointing at the equipment next to them.

Danika let go of the stylist’s hand and sneered.

“Alright.

I’ll do it myself.”

It was just hair.

It was easy for her.

She’d rather do it herself than rely on these tasteless people.

Danika walked over to her dressing table, then turned and looked at the person who had spoken.

“By the way, please call me by my name in the future.

Or, call me Miss Danika Zellweger.”

Jolene’s sister? Didn’t she have her own name? The person turned red but couldn’t think of anything to say in response.

Danika was indeed now part of the Zellwegers.

In fact, she was older than Jolene.

She couldn’t afford to anger her.

Seeing that she had gone quiet, Danika curled her hair in satisfaction.

The dressing room went quiet at once.

Jolene’s friends were furious, but they couldn’t do anything to her.

In fact, they had requested the stylists to make Danika uglier, but now, their plan was obviously not working.

Danika finished curling her hair and put makeup on herself.

Then, she got up to pick out a dress.

However, they were all very plain.

Anyone could have rented it.

Danika didn’t like a single one of them.

She turned and saw Jolene and her friends walking out of the fitting rooms.

They were wearing the latest fashions from high- end brands.

Their dresses were all much better than the ones Danika had.

As if feeling her gaze on her skin, Jolene was stunned.

Danika couldn’t have seen the difference, could she? She was from a village.

How could she tell couture and commercial fashion apart? “What’s wrong? Isn’t there anything that you fancy?”

Jolene asked pretentiously.

Danika smiled coldly.

She thought that Jolene’s tricks were pathetic.

“Yeah.

Why don’t you give me yours? I think it’ll fit quite nicely.”

Jolene was stunned.

She had never seen someone quite as shameless as Danika.

“T_.I’m afraid that can’t be done. This was made according to my measurements. You might not fit in it.”

Jolene was making up excuses.

She was cursing Danika to Hell in her heart.

Danika sized her up and nodded in agreement.

“You’re right.
