Xandros’ P.O.V.
I am standing in front of the Pack-house, awaiting the arrival of the Delta’s the Council has sent.
I step of the front porch as a black SUV pulls up, three huge men exit the SUV and they walk towards me.
“What is the reason for her conviction?” One of them asks and I can tell that I can trust them with the truth. I quickly tell them about my Father’s plan and my warning note to Maya.
They nod their heads and they follow me inside. Father is standing in the hallway and I can tell he has to restrain his Wolf from acting out.
“Alpha Ronan, your Daughter has been convicted of attacking and assaulting your Luna. We are here to take her to the Council for her sentencing.” The Delta standing in front of my Father says.
I can tell my Father wants to react, but there is nothing he can do. Nothing other than order the Warriors to escort her down the stairs.
As she walks down the stairs I hear her say through the mind-link “This is for the best, Xandros. Just remember that I love you.” I tell her that I love her too and that I will help her out after she has served her time.
But I make sure that my face remains expressionless.
Maya’s P.O.V.
I walk down the stairs and say my goodbyes to Xandros through the mind-link. He will be the only one that knows that I am not Wolfless and I know he will keep it a secret.
Looking at him, I know that no one can tell that he just uncovered a huge secret. I walk past Ayden, Alena and my Father towards the Delta’s that will take me to the Council.
One of them looks at me and says “Shouldn’t you say goodbye to your Father?” I chuckle and ask him why I would want to say goodbye to a man that loathes me, because I am keeping him from getting what he wants.
After I say those words, I walk out the door and make my way over to a black SUV. I stop next to it and wait for the Delta’s to arrive. They take their time and if it wasn’t for the fact that I want to keep my secret a little longer, I might have made a run for it.
One of the men opens the door for me and another takes my bag from my hands. I am about to step in to the car as Ivory pushes forward and says “Now we both have stopped him from getting what he wants, Mom.”
The man standing next to me, looks at me with surprise on his face and he is about to say something when he clams his mouth shut. He just chuckles and I get a feeling he is aware of my secret.
