“Why did he put his hands on you to begin with, bambina?”, Luca asked darkly. I sighed and rolled my bottom lip between my teeth with my tongue. “He was angry that I didn’t respond to his high school teasing”, I answered, looking away from him. “What did he say to you, piccola?”, he asked softly. “It doesn’t matter, Luca. It doesn’t bother me anymore, anyway”, I said. “Anymore? How often does it happen?”, he countered. “Luca, really it doesn’t matter”, I said softly, trying to pull away from him.
Luca grabbed my hips and backed me against the wall, pinning me in place. “It does matter, Piccola. It matters to me. So please answer me. What did he say to you?”, he growled. “He asked if it was my dad I was kissing. I ignored him, and it pissed him off. Luca, it really doesn’t matter. He’s a fucking man child”, I said softly, placing my free hand on his chest. “No, he’s a bitch ass, little boy”, Luca rumbled lowly.
“Let me sit with you in class, principessa”, he muttered, resting his forehead against mine. “You have to get back to work. I can’t ask you to do that”, I murmured. “You didn’t ask, bambina. I want to sit with you. As for work, they will survive without me”, He grinned.
“Okay”, I nodded. Luca smiled, “Good”, he muttered, claiming my lips heatedly. “Let’s go then, piccola”, he said, once he broke the kiss. He took my bag from me and opened the bathroom door. “Lead the way, bambolina (baby doll)”, he purred.
Luca’s POV
I threaded my fingers with Mara’s as we walked to her next class. Mara looked absolutely adorable as she sipped her milkshake and did a little dance. It didn’t take long to arrive at her class, where she led me up the stadium-style seats, past the other students. The professor continued on with his lesson as if we weren’t disturbing his class, distracting every single person we walked past.
Mara sat us down towards the top, giving us an almost empty isle. She immediately started pulling the books she would need for this class from her bag. I watched her, completely fascinated by her immediate sense of focus. Rex sat down behind us, drawing my attention to him momentarily, before I looked around the classroom. I could feel a set of eyes burning holes in my skull. As I scanned the room, I found them. Locking eyes with a blonde headed boy, I knew immediately that he was the piece of shit that put his hands on my wife.
I could tell just by the look on his face, jealousy. The little boy wants something of mine that he can’t have, and he knows it. Rex leaned forward, “His name is Jason Greene”, was all he whispered. I smirked straight at Jason, my hand had unconsciously grasped onto the base of Mara’s neck, drawing her attention to me.
“What’s the matter, Luca?”, she whispered quietly, with a frown. I looked down at my beautiful little wife, my facial features softening immediately. I brushed my cheek against hers, making her lean her head into mine. “Nothing, piccola. I only wanted to feelyour soft skin beneath my rough hands. I hope that’s okay, because this is where my hand will most likely be for the entirety of the class”, I purred, lowly in her ear.
A shiver passed through her body, instantly bringing mine to life. I couldn’t help but lay a soft kiss on her neck, before cupping her face with my free hand and capturing her lips tenderly. I pulled away, letting my thumb stroke her cheek as I let it fall. Mara smiled softly as she looked back at the board, then at her notebook.
My eyes drifted to the butt-hurt blonde kid, who stared daggers at me. I smirked proudly, keeping eye contact with him until he could no longer stand it and looked away. I took a glance around the room some more, taking note of all of the available exits. Also, of the amount of times the Greene kid cuts his eyes to my wife, or the professor cuts his eyes to me. But, more importantly than that, how many times mia piccola gattina (my little kitten) peeked over her shoulder to see what I was doing, which, of course, in those moments, I was staring at her.
She’d blush and look away and I’d smirk each time it would happen. Finally, I leaned forward, “If you want me to kiss you, all you have to do is ask”, I whispered teasingly in her ear, making her flush a crimson red and hide her face behind her hands. “You are going to get me in trouble, Luca”, she mumbled against her hands. “They wouldn’t dare utter a word to you, bambina”, I breathed against her ear. Mara shivered and whined softly. I chuckled quietly as I leaned back in my chair and ran my hand from her neck down her spine.
Her back curved, following my movements, making me groan quietly to myself. Mara dropped her hands down on her desk and continued writing, as I skimmed my fingers up and down her back slowly. I was enjoying the way that her body responded to my touch. I paid attention to the detail of each twitch of her body and in which spot. Okay, maybe I was paying a little too much attention for someone who sits in a classroom. A classroom where we are both being watched like hawks right now, by not just the professor and Jason, but everybody.
But, I couldn’t bring myself to care. I was too mesmerized by her. Her pure determination alone, to stay focused while I do this, has me uncomfortably hard. “The determination in you, is quite a turn on, Mrs. Barello”, I purred lowly, making her squirm. “Luca”, she hissed quietly. “Yes, bambina?”, I asked. “Shh”, she said softly, looking over her shoulder at me.
I chuckled with pure joy and cheerfulness. I have never been shh’ed by anyone but my mother in my whole life. That’s down right adorable. “Si signora (Yes ma’am)”, I murmured respectfully. She basically said, ‘you can still rub my back, butplease shut up’. I chuckled again at my own thought, as I shook my head.
I glanced back at Rex, noticing that his attention was on Dick Prick Greene. I watched the blonde kid lean into the boy on his left and whisper something to him, making said boy look up at my wife, before his eyes met mine. I’m king of the poker face, I couldn’t make my face more stoic if I tried. These boys are planning something. I can tell by how big the side-kicks eyes got when they met mine. Like a child being caught with his hands in the cookie jar. Jaosn’s eyes shot up to meet mine, next. Pure hatred burned in his eyes.
I vaguely heard the professor tell the class that he wanted them to turn in a model of a bridge that is as strong as the golden gate, but built with the least amount of material as possible and a blue print of it as well. I was honestly too busy staring Jason down in challenge, to comment on how ridiculous it was that he wanted this assignment on Monday.
Mara wrote a few more things down in her notebook before she began to pack away her things. “Are you ready?”, she asked softly, peeking up at me. She must have noticed the stone-cold look on my face because her eyes traveled the same distance as mine. “He’s not worth it, Luca. Can we go now please?”, she asked, standing up into my view to block Jason out.
