“Which from all I’ve seen, you caused. That is why we are here. You’re being arrested for one count of alleged stalking of Marilyn Riddley, two counts of alleged assault and two counts of alleged grievous bodily harm against Miss Stevens and Miss Riddley.”
He was frowning now.
“I stalked no one,”
he grated out.
“Hmm, if you say so. Now you can come willingly to the station, or we can go with the handcuffs.”
he was told.
“He’ll go willingly,”
Wil stated. I’m his lawyer, and willing it will be.”
“Will I?”
had been Calvin’s words on the matter.
“I think you’ll find Marilyn Riddley is not her real name, that she is actually Marrin Reeves
“
“Shut it.”
Wil shot at him, and he frowned at him, only to hear a laugh come from one of the officers.
“Oh, is that so…. So when seeing your wife alive and well for the first time in eight years, your first thought was to assault her, was it? Instead of being relieved she was alive… That must be nice for her, considering how loving a couple you two always appeared to be,”
one of the officers stated.
“Maybe it was all a lie.”
The other officer nodded.
“And she ran away from him, and he’s mad about it so.”
he shrugged
“That’s why he assaulted her on the spot.”
“I’ve never laid a f*****g hand on Marrin.”
He grated out, furious with what they were implying.
“Hmm, that video begs to differ”
The officer stated,
“Willingly or not, you’re under arrest until we can sort this
He watched as handcuffs were produced and again Wil was glaring at him, snapped
“Calvin.”
In a warning tone. Then he turned to the officers,
“He’ll go willingly, I’ll go with him, there will be no need for handcuffs.”
Then he looked right at him once more.
“Move It Calvin, and as your lawyer. I advise you to go willingly right this minute. There is already press outside. Do you want them taking your picture in handcuffs?”
His anger notched up, and he yanked his jacket from the back of his chair and pulled it on.
“I’m not getting in a police car, you can give me the common curtesy of taking myself to the police station to answer your questions. Yes.”
“I don’t know, you’re a billionaire with your own personal jet, a flight risk.”
One stated with a bit of a smirk.
“Yeah, one with connections to the chief of police, Hank Braidy, and the mayor, three or four congressmen, you want to keep your job!”
he snapped.
“I’ll go in my car. Wil will drive it, and you can trail me if you like.”
he directed to the officers ‘I’ll willingly come in for questioning. You didn’t need to come here, you could simply have called and requested I come in, to answer some questions.”
He grated out and stalked from his office. *f*****g flight risk, like I’d leave the country over pulling someone’s hair.”
He spat out, it’s a misdemeanour at best.
