Chapter 96 – I Got Married Without You Novel

Filed to story: I Got Married Without You

Andrew put away the disappointment in his eyes and glanced at Rosalyn coldly. His voice was unprecedentedly cold. “Get lost!”

He only said two words, not a single extra word, which meant he let her go.

Rosalyn should have been happy that she had achieved her goal but she was heartbroken.

She looked deeply at the arrog ant and cold man, gritted her teeth, and walked toward Jackson.

When she helped Jackson leave, she couldn’t help looking back.

Andrew had already turned around and returned to the bedroom, leaving her a lonely back.

The moment he fiercely closed the door, it indicated that all of this was over.

Frustrated, Rosalyn couldn’t catch her breath. Her hand that was holding Jackson was trembling in pain.

“Rosalyn, what’s wrong?”

Her face, full of despondency and emotional breakdown, made Jackson realize something, but he didn’t dare to think more. “I’m fine.”

Rosalyn shook her head. “Let’s go.”

Jackson nodded, held her hand tightly, and left the villa.

When Andrew upstairs saw them leave, his face became increasingly gloomy and cold…

He stared fixedly at the petite figure, unable to describe his feelings.

He just had an impulse to rush forward and carry her back.

But the words she said pulled him back to reality.

She was just a woman who did not love him. It was not a big deal. Why should he miss her?

He withdrew his eyes, but the pain in the body’s marrow suddenly hit again at the sight of his torn clothes on the ground.

He must have gotten used to her body, so his mind was full of the image of her lying under him and begging for mercy. It must be so!

Jackson and Rosalyn supported each other out of the villa. There were a few cars that Jackson had brought.

The people in the car were all bodyguards, and their faces were all injured.

Before Jackson went in, they had already fought with Andrew’s bodyguards.

Jackson brought too few people and did not beat Andrew’s people, which forced him to call the police.

Seeing Jackson come out safe and sound, the bodyguards breathed a sigh of relief. One of them opened the door for the two.

Jackson helped Rosalyn into the car first before he got in himself.

Ignoring his injuries, he picked up a clean towel and wiped Rosalyn’s wet hair.

His movements were very gentle for fear of hurting her. However, his expression changed when his gaze landed on her exposed skin.

Rosalyn, whom he had loved and cared for all his life, had been bullied so hard by that ba stard…

This was not the first time. A full five years was enough to make Jackson regret a lifetime.

Seeing that Jackson was staring at her neck in a daze, Rosalyn subconsciously covered her neck and wrapped her coat tighter around her.

Jackson hurriedly explained, “Rosalyn, that’s not what I meant. I just felt that I was too useless to make you hurt…”

Rosalyn shook her head and said, “It’s not his fault. I volunteered.”

How could she blame Andrew when she signed the agreement herself?

Jackson’s heart trembled for a moment. Her willingness was harder for him to accept than if she had been forced.

Instead of answering, he continued to dry her hair with a dry towel.

Looking at him gently taking care of her, Rosalyn couldn’t bear it, but there were some things that she had to make clear.

“Ryan, I have something to tell you…”

“Let’s talk about it when we get back, okay?”

She was interrupted by Jackson as soon as she opened her mou th.

He seemed to have noticed something and didn’t want to listen to her.

Seeing that his forehead was still wrapped in gauze, Rosalyn put down what she wanted to say first.

Jackson wanted to take her back to his villa, but Rosalyn didn’t want to. She wanted to go back to Eva’s apartment.

That small apartment gave her a sense of security. She could sleep better there.

Jackson had no choice but to send her back to her apartment, but he was unwilling to go upstairs because he was afraid that Rosalyn would tell him something after going upstairs. Seeing this, Rosalyn was not hurrying to get out of the car. “Ryan, some things need to be made clear.”

She didn’t have much time left. This injury had worsened her condition. If it weren’t for the special medicine that Stella gave her, she might not have had the strength to say much to him right now. While she stil had some strength left, she wanted to ensure she said everything she needed to say.

“Don’t take what I said in Andrew’s villa to heart. I said that just to leave safely.”

She was referring to the sentence, “Now that Ryan is back, the misunderstanding has been resolved. I want to go back to him and be with him”.

Jackson was smart enough to understand what she was talking about but couldn’t accept it. “Why?”

She had already rejected Andrew, so why wasn’t she willing to return to him? Was she still blaming him?

Rosalyn looked at him apologetically. “I’m sorry, Ryan. It’s my fault. I betrayed you first.”

A trace of frustration appeared on Jackson’s handsome face. “You didn’t betray me. You sold yourself for me. And later, you did it because of anger…” The corners of Rosalyn’s mouth curled up slightly. “I was indeed angry at first, but later I was willing to do so.”

Her light-hearted words made Jackson’s breath catch.

It was as if a big hand was strangling his heart, making him unable to breathe.

“You… … fell in love with him?”

This question almost took Jackson’s life away.
