Filed to story: When His Wife Can’t Forgive
Caden laughed, already a few steps ahead in his plans.
“I’ll do it on her birthday.”
Gerry squinted and asked, “And when is her birthday?”
“November 23rd.”
Gerry’s brows furrowed in confusion.
“November 23rd? Why does that ring a bell? Feels like someone else has a birthday on that day too.”
Caden was not interested in other people’s birthdays. He glanced down, realizing his excitement was rapidly fading, and prepared to leave the kitchen. Gerry, on the other hand, was lost in his thoughts. Who else shared the same birthday?
After pondering for a while, he suddenly slapped his thigh.
“I remember now!” he exclaimed.
“It’s Yolanda!”
But Caden was already gone. Gerry shot to his feet.
“Hey! Where are you off to?”
Yolanda had become a taboo topic between them, so Gerry didn’t mention anything when he caught up with Caden. He was in high spirits, planning his proposal, and Gerry didn’t want to jinx it with negative talk.
The weather outside was still pleasant when they finished their meal. Alicia dozed off during their drive home.
When she woke up, the car was still moving, but the sunroof was open, and she could see tufts of white clouds passing by the blue sky. The sunlight was clear and warm, and the September breeze was refreshing against her skin.
“You’re awake,” a deep voice said beside her.
Alicia closed her eyes again and inhaled deeply. Acting on instinct, she hooked her arm around Caden’s and leaned against his shoulder. His familiar scent enveloped her like a blanket of comfort, leaving her blissful and content.
“I’m still a bit sleepy, want to nap a little longer,” she murmured, nuzzling her face against his bicep.
“I feel like I already slept for ages.”
“Why aren’t we at the apartment?”
Without warning, Caden slipped his other hand under her shirt, shamelessly taking liberties as he pleased.
“We’re not going back to the apartment.”
Alicia shivered at his touch. Her eyes flew open to look at the driver, only to find the driver’s seat empty.
“What? Where’s the driver?”
“The car is on self-driving mode,” Caden replied. “No driver needed.”
Alicia frowned, finding his behavior ridiculous. The self-driving technology wasn’t fully developed yet. How could he let it take over just like that? She slapped his hand away and sat up straight.
Looking out the window, she realized they were on a wide, almost deserted road lined with lush, towering trees.
“What is this place?” Alicia asked, continuing to gaze in wonder. The scenery was breathtaking, especially with no other people in sight.
Caden stopped the car. He loomed over Alicia from behind, not the least bit interested in their surroundings. His attention was focused on her pink cheeks, the delicate curve of her neck, and the glimpse of cleavage peeking from under her collar. His hand slipped under her shirt again.
“If you like it here, we can stay a bit longer.”
Alicia clicked her tongue. His touch was distracting her from the view.
“Aren’t you satisfied with last night? Why are you so eager to go again?”
“If you ate yesterday, does that mean you won’t eat again today?” Caden said, his voice thick with desire.
“I can’t help it. I’m young and insatiable.”
Moments later, the car’s windows were fully tinted, preventing anyone from looking in. The vehicle rocked from side to side as Caden employed his signature brand of mischief.
“You liked it here, right?” he rasped.
“Hmm? Why are you crying? Come on, you won’t be able to see clearly if you have tears in your eyes.” He gently wiped Alicia’s tears and kissed her flushed cheeks.
In return, she tried pushing him away, to no avail, of course.
“Then stop bothering me.”
Caden surprisingly complied.
Alicia froze, clearly taken aback by his response. With trembling arms, she pulled herself up and looked back at him in confusion. His eyes were still filled with desire, and he was staring at her as if he wanted to devour her on the spot, his chest heaving as he obviously struggled with his restraint. But his hands were already busy cleaning the seat with wet wipes.
“All right, let’s stop,” he said seriously, his voice still a little hoarse. “I’ll do as you say.”
Alicia felt embarrassed for some reason.
“You…”
Even though she kept saying no numerous times during sex, he had never stopped. What brought on this sudden obedience?
Caden looked up at her.
“What?”
There it was, that familiar glint of mischief.
Not willing to admit defeat, Alicia braced herself with her elbows, making her bare body fully visible in front of him.
Caden pursed his lips and quickly averted his gaze.
He pulled out another wet wipe and swept it across the already clean seat. Blushing, Alicia gave him a light click of disapproval.
“Help me wipe,” she said.
Caden didn’t dare look at her. If he did, he knew he wouldn’t be able to hold back.
“You can wipe yourself,” he said in a flat tone.
But Alicia simply moved closer to him. Caden raised his hand to keep her away, only for her to cling to his arm. Her soft, warm chest, slightly slippery from sweat, pressed against the length of his arm. Just like that, Caden’s mind went blank.
The next thing he knew, Alicia was straddling him, settling herself boldly on his lap as her cheeks brushed against his.
“I want you to wipe for me,” she whispered, running her fingers across his nape while gazing deep into his eyes.
“You were a beast to me just now. I have no strength left.”
Caden was about to crumble. Her actions were driving him to the brink.
“Caden,” Alicia said softly, “I will ask you just this one time – will we continue or not?”
His hands moved on their own, gripping her slender waist. But that was all. Caden paused, waiting, hesitating.
Biting her lip, Alicia lifted her leg, essentially making the decision for him.
Caden’s features tightened, and his reason completely vanished into thin air. He no longer cared about anything else. He surrendered to his instincts and went with the motion.
Everything happened so suddenly. By the time Caden returned to his senses, the car was silent apart from their heavy breathing.
His head was cradled in the crook of Alicia’s neck as they both tried to catch their breaths.
When he finally calmed down, something came to mind.
“Alicia,” Caden murmured, swallowing and taking a deep, sharp breath.
“I took the condom off midway.”
Alicia’s soul rushed back to her body, but she was still a little dazed when she asked, “What?”
They stared at each other, both wide-eyed and more than a little confused.
“You took it off in the middle?” Alicia blurted out, confirming his words.
Caden’s Adam’s apple bobbed.
He had only meant to tease her; he had every intention of continuing their intimate encounter.
But the condom was getting too slippery by the time they stopped, so he figured he might as well grab a new one.
He had never expected Alicia to be so bold as to sit on top of him all by herself.
Caden was in too deep at the time and didn’t even have a chance to get his bearings.
His mind went blank as soon as he felt her smooth warmth around his cock and all he wanted to do was bring them both to the brink of another climax.
Without saying anything else, Caden pulled out several wet wipes and quickly cleaned her up.
Alicia didn’t blame him.
But they were adults – she knew there was still a chance she could get pregnant, no matter how diligently he wiped her down.
On the other hand, Alicia’s health wasn’t the best.
She had had a very difficult childhood, which had forced her into unhealthy daily routines.
