Instinctively, Alicia bit her lip, feeling her excitement build. But she held back, not wanting to disturb him further.

“Continue with your work,” she whispered, “We’ll talk later.”

Not receiving the response he’d hoped for, Caden ended the call without another word.

As Alicia put her phone down, a smile crept onto her face.

Even though it was Alicia who was making him anxious, here she was, with a flushed face and her heart racing. As she thought about Warrington’s current predicament, her smile faded. She turned to locate the two bodyguards, burdened by her thoughts.

They knew Caden’s whereabouts. She had to find him.

Meanwhile, Caden set his phone aside as a glass of whiskey slid toward him. The lavish, seductive atmosphere cast shadows over his striking features, drawing the attention of nearly every woman in the room. Their gazes were bold, passionate, and admiring.

Opposite him sat a man in a floral shirt, wearing a gold necklace thick as a thumb that wrapped around his neck like a serpent. Puffing on a cigar, flanked by two women-one with her hand on his chest, the other on his hip-he grinned at Caden and asked, “That a lady on the phone, Mr. Ward? You seemed quite pleased just now.”

With a smirk, Caden lifted the glass before him. “Only an exceptional woman can bring a smile to my face.”

Marlon Finch, a formidable figure in Terriland’s underworld, laughed heartily. Though young, he was shrewd enough to capture Caden’s attention and secure a partnership involving a multibillion-dollar contract.

Aware of Caden’s clean reputation, Marlon squinted and asked, “What if our venture causes some casualties? Would you abandon our partnership?”

Reclining casually on a gold-trimmed sofa, Caden responded, “My partnership with you isn’t about killing; it’s about having a fallback. In my business, enemies are plentiful.”

Marlon remained doubtful. “Couldn’t you ally with more powerful figures? Why pick me?”

“You’re young and sharp. The old-timers might not have the agility to keep up with me,” Caden answered. He struck a match, lighting a cigarette. The rising smoke veiled his eyes, masking his true feelings.

Marlon, flattered by Caden’s words and eager for wealth, nudged the woman next to him. “Go, keep Mr. Ward company.”

She approached Caden with a graceful sway and leaned in close. Caden offered no resistance.

Marlon’s motives weren’t about pleasure; this was a test. Blending in was the only way for Caden to fully alleviate any suspicions.

With an arm wrapped around the woman’s waist, Caden blew smoke toward her face and asked, “Are you a virgin?”

The club had a reputation for being highly exclusive. Using her skills, Alicia tampered with a guest’s access card to slip inside.

As a stranger in this place, she stood out easily. She tried calling Caden, but he didn’t respond. Left with no choice, Alicia disguised herself as a masked server to locate him.

The clubs in Terriland were known for their free-spirited and open atmosphere, allowing all kinds of behavior. The ambiance included servers donning masks, adding to the sensual, provocative vibe where patrons mingled freely with one another.

Several encounters were overtly intimate. Not yet accustomed to the club’s layout, Alicia navigated awkwardly and ended up colliding with a couple who were just leaving. The man was completely undressed, creating a bold and unforgettable spectacle.

Alicia’s lips twitched as she covered her eyes and turned away. At that moment, the team leader addressed them, “Hey, you all! Go deliver drinks to room 888 immediately. There are important guests inside, so be on your best behavior and don’t cause any trouble.”

Reluctantly, Alicia accepted the expensive drinks and followed a group of stunning women toward the private room. She knew Caden’s habits all too well; even if he was here for business, he would undoubtedly choose the finest private room. She figured she would see him soon. Pushing aside the scene she had just witnessed, a wave of anticipation washed over her.

When the door swung open, an opulent scene unfolded before her. The atmosphere was chaotic. Alicia blended in with the group of women, pouring drinks with practiced ease. Fortunately, the men in the room had already chosen their companions and seemed uninterested in the masked waitresses. This gave Alicia the opportunity to discreetly search for Caden.

What she saw next made her wish she could gouge out her eyes. The room was a hedonistic paradise, filled with expensive liquor and scattered cigarettes. Rough-looking men with eccentric appearances embraced or restrained scantily clad women, engaging in activities far more intense than those happening outside. The air resonated with unabashed moans.

And there was Caden, right in the thick of it. Though he wasn’t participating in the wild revelry, a voluptuous beauty was nestled in his arms. His long fingers-ones Alicia adored-wrapped possessively around the woman’s thigh, their intimacy palpable. She clung to him like a vine, her high-slit gown barely holding together as she guided his hand inside her dress.

Alicia gripped the wine bottle tightly, crouching behind a table, her eyes locked onto their every move. Caden’s black shirt draped loosely over his frame, his chest muscles rising and falling like gentle hills, marked with several lipstick marks. One arm cradled the woman beside him while the other casually held a cigarette, smoke curling around his fingers like a lazy cat. He squinted, engaging in conversation with the man across from him, his charm effortless and his smoking gestures artfully mesmerizing. As his hand slipped beneath the fabric of the woman’s gown, a low moan escaped her lips.

Meanwhile, Alicia felt a pounding throb in her temples. She gritted her teeth, seething with frustration. Caden had claimed he didn’t like smoking, was allergic to women, and only found joy in intimacy with her. Yet here he was, acting in a way that completely contradicted his words.

Damn it! Alicia cursed herself for ever believing his sweet talk. Bitterness bubbled in her chest, threatening to spill over. She wanted to storm over, grab Caden, and teach him a lesson he would never forget.

But reason held her back. This place was a chaotic mix of characters, and what if Caden was here for legitimate business? What if his actions were merely a smokescreen to mislead others?

She had never dared to explore the dark side of Terriland, and she couldn’t just sabotage Caden’s plans on a whim. Taking a steadying breath, Alicia fell in line with the other waitresses, feigning busyness as she moved through the crowd.

Before long, Marlon, drunk and tangled up with a woman, was eager to leave and have fun with her privately. He rushed over to Caden, slurring as he declared, “Mr. Ward, tonight, all the women in this club are at your disposal. Do as you please, and just put it all on my tab!”

Caden withdrew his hand from the woman and surveyed the scene. “Isn’t there anyone with a bit more charm around here?”

Marlon perked up at this. In the exclusive club, all the women were stunning beauties, yet none seemed to catch Caden’s eye.

Marlon boasted confidently, “What type do you want? I can have someone brought to you right away, guaranteed to satisfy you 100%!”

Alicia perked up, intrigued. She was eager to hear what kind of woman would catch Caden’s attention.

Caden chuckled and replied, “I want someone sweet, innocent, and untouched – never been with a man. Got anyone like that?”

Marlon blinked in surprise. Innocent and untouched by a man?

He furrowed his brow for a moment, then a lewd grin spread across his face. “Ah, you’re looking for someone fresh, huh? No problem. I’ll have my guys grab a girl from the nearby high school.”

Caden poured himself a drink, the light catching the glass and reflecting like a glimmering mask, hiding his true emotions. He took a slow sip, a teasing smile playing on his lips. “Who doesn’t appreciate something fresh?”

As he finished, a piercing gaze settled on his face. Caden discreetly scanned the room through his peripheral vision, observing a group of waitresses while setting down his glass.

Clad in a mask and the club’s maid uniform, Alicia caught his eye, her gaze ablaze with intensity. Caden paused, a tempest brewing behind his eyes. Alicia’s anger was boiling as she coldly turned away, following the other waitresses out of the room.

Caden’s fingers tightened around the glass, inch by inch, his gaze locked on her retreating figure. What was she doing here?

Alicia stepped out of the private room, heading straight for the restroom. She scrubbed her hands under the faucet, trying to wash away the lingering scent of smoke and alcohol that clung to her like a shadow.

Frustration bubbled up as she shook her dress, but she couldn’t shake the haunting images of Caden’s earlier behavior from her mind.

The high school girl would be arriving soon. Where would they have fun? At the club or back at the hotel?

The more Alicia thought about the situation, the angrier she became. Curses spilled from her lips in a low mutter. When she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror, tears welled up in her eyes, reflecting her turmoil. “What a scumbag,” she choked out, her voice trembling with fury. “You piece of trash, you can just die here!”

Just as she finished her tirade, the restroom door swung open, and someone stepped inside.

Alicia quickly composed herself, relief washing over her as she recognized the crew-cut bodyguard who had brought her here. She asked, “Is something wrong?”

With a serious expression, the bodyguard replied, “I spoke with Mr. Caden. He asked me to bring you to him.”

Alicia’s heart raced. “Where is he taking me?”

“I’ll take you to his room after Marlon leaves.”

Alicia’s mind was a whirlwind of anxiety. Had he recognized her? Or had the bodyguard told him? There was no time to ponder further as she followed the bodyguard outside, blending into the shadows to catch a glimpse of Caden.

The girl Marlon asked for soon arrived.

Still clad in her school uniform, the girl’s pleated skirt barely brushed her knees. Her shoulders were hunched, and tears streamed down her pale cheeks. Alicia’s heart clenched at the sight.

Caden casually pulled the girl into his arms. After a brief exchange with Marlon, they made their way upstairs. Alicia’s momentary relief evaporated.

She lowered her head and asked, “Are you sure he asked for me?”

The bodyguard nodded. “Mr. Ward instructed me to ensure your safety and bring you to him once Marlon’s people leave.”

Fury surged through Alicia. “Why summon me if he is with that girl? Is this some twisted fantasy of his?”

The bodyguard fell silent, momentarily taken aback. But this wasn’t surprising. Wealthy men often indulged in such games.

Alicia clearly didn’t want to go, but the bodyguard was Caden’s hire, and his words were orders. Even if she refused, he would drag her along.

To avoid the watchful eyes of surveillance and spies, Alicia kept her mask firmly in place. She remained in her tight maid outfit, balancing drinks on one tray alongside two boxes of condoms.

After knocking softly on the door, she waited. Moments later, Caden swung it open.

The scent of the private room clung to him, but his scent was so potent that it filled her with a confusing blend of love and resentment.

With a cold expression, Alicia said, “Your items are here, sir.”

Caden’s eyes immediately darkened.

He had recognized her instantly in the private room. Yet, with the dim lighting and Alicia’s elaborate disguise, he briefly questioned whether he was mistaken. After all, what business did Alicia have here?

But hearing her familiar voice confirmed it. She had indeed come. Whatever her reasons, Caden couldn’t afford to dwell on them at that moment.

He suppressed his turbulent emotions and glanced at the tray. “Bring it in,” he instructed, turning his back to her.

Alicia felt a surge of defiance rising within her; she wanted to curse him. Yet, mindful of potential eavesdroppers, she bit her tongue and gritted her teeth. “I’m busy. Sir, please take it yourself.”

Caden’s voice was cool as he replied, “Do you want to get fired?”

Alicia bit her lip, frustration simmering. Reluctantly, she stepped inside.

Inside the room, the high school girl sat curled up in a chair, wrapped in Caden’s jacket, her face streaked with dried tears.

Seeing Alicia, the girl was initially startled, but she quickly relaxed upon realizing she was a woman.

Alicia was confused.

Caden took off his shirt, revealing his chiseled, muscular torso.

Alicia’s gaze flickered, and she couldn’t suppress a nervous swallow.

Cursing herself for her weakness, she set the items down and prepared to leave.

But Caden’s voice sliced through the air. “Is that how you treat customers? Did I give you the green light to leave?”

Alicia was only pretending to leave. Determined to confront him-whether to hear his explanation or settle accounts-she steeled herself to get to the bottom of things today.

She turned around and glared at Caden. “What do you want me to do? Roll the condom on for you?”
