“Go to hell,” Milena screamed, her face twisted with rage at Cameron’s taunts.

In a flash, Milena lunged forward, seized Cameron’s arm, and shoved her hard toward the edge of the rooftop. Her strength was shockingly fierce.

Cameron staggered, her face going suddenly rigid. Out of nowhere, memories from her old life came rushing back, of being shoved off the hospital rooftop and falling to her death.

‘Could it have been Milena who pushed me off the roof in my old life?’ Cameron wondered. She needed to know for sure.

A chill seeped into Cameron’s deep eyes.

She looked at Milena on the ground, a smirk tugging at her lips, and then she slowly and deliberately walked toward the edge of the rooftop.

There was only a four-foot-high railing there.

Cameron sat down on the railing, her feet dangling over the edge. She lowered her gaze to the abyss below and said, “Milena, after all, we’re sisters Why do you have to do this?”

In her old life, Cameron had been sitting on the hospital railing just like this when someone suddenly shoved her from behind.

Even now, she could still recall exactly how that hand felt the strength, the pressure, every detail of that push against her back.

If Milena ever pressed her hand against Cameron’s back again, she’d know it in an instant.

Milena slumped to the floor, and when she looked up, she saw Cameron sitting on the railing. Her eyes lit up instantly.

“Cameron, you idiot, Milena thought to herself. ‘Are you trying to get yourself killed?’

Hearing Cameron’s words, Milena curled her lips in a mocking sneer. ‘Sisters?’ she scoffed inwardly. ‘Yeah, right. Some sister. I wish she’d just drop dead.

Milena didn’t say a word. She clenched her teeth, couldn’t let this golden chance slip by, and rushed at Cameron like a lunatic, both hands slamming hard into Cameron’s back.

“Drop dead,” Milena shouted.

Her hands landed on Cameron’s back, separated only by the thin silk of her gown.

Cameron felt the familiar size of Milena’s hands pressing against her back. Her eyes went wide with shock as her grip on the railing tightened.

“It’s her,’ Cameron thought. ‘Milena was the one who pushed me off the hospital rooftop in my old life. I should have realized it long ago.’

In her old life, Cameron had always been so careful, never stepping on anyone’s toes. Aside from Amelia, her so-called fianc?e, who resented her, she hadn’t offended a single soul.

Cameron had already broken off the engagement with Amelia.

Naturally, Amelia wouldn’t have any reason to cause her trouble anymore. So that left only one person, Milena, who had always treated Cameron like the ultimate thorn in her flesh.

Sometimes, when one was caught up in it, one just couldn’t see the truth. A cold ruthlessness flashed in Cameron’s eyes.

Milena had a lot of strength behind her. Fueled by her murderous intent, she shoved Cameron with everything she had.

Cameron nearly pitched over the edge, but she caught the railing in time and quickly steadied herself.

Cameron turned around, and with a light jump, landed right back on the rooftop.

Milena hadn’t seen that coming. The triumphant grin that was just starting to form froze on her lips, her eyes going wide in shock.

‘H-How could this be?’ Milena thought, stunned. ‘Why didn’t Cameron fall? I pushed her with everything I had.’

As Cameron started walking toward her, Milena instantly backed away in a panic, her movements frantic and desperate.

But what truly terrified her was the icy look in Cameron’s eyes, a coldness so sharp it felt like it could freeze her blood.

Milena had never seen anyone look at her with such chilling, bone-deep menace. Pure fear shot up from her feet, flooding every inch of her body.

“Y-You-” Milena stammered, her words tumbling out in terror. She kept stumbling backward until her legs gave out and she dropped to the floor.

Cameron’s gaze was icy as she looked down at Milena from above. “Milena, today, it’s time we put an end to everything between us.”

Milena realized deep down that she was completely outmatched by Cameron. There was no way she could win. All she could do now was try to escape.

But her legs had turned to jelly; she couldn’t even crawl away, let alone stand. All she could do was prop herself up on her arms and scoot backward, terror written all over her face.

Cameron strode toward her, each step forcing Milena back, her presence pressing in like a predator closing in on its prey.

“Cameron?” Milena cried out, her voice trembling. “What are you going to do to me? If I die, you’re coming down with me. You’re a big-shot pharmacologist now, and you’ve got Bradley-“

Cameron sneered, stopping in her tracks and cutting off Milena’s trembling words. “You know what. You’re right. There’s no way I’d throw away my future and my life just to get revenge on a piece of garbage like you. Not a chance.”

“Yes.” Milena kept nodding, letting out a huge sigh of relief. “Cameron, just take me back to the detention center. I’ll take whatever punishment I deserve.”

“But if you want to end your own life, what does that have to do with me?” Cameron’s cold voice cut Milena off.

“In my old life, hadn’t I also killed myself?’ Cameron wondered.

Milena was startled by the icy look in Cameron’s eyes.

“What do you mean?” Milena asked, her voice shaking with terror.

Cameron replied, “What I mean is, instead of spending the rest of your life rotting in prison, wouldn’t it be better to just die now? The sooner you die, the sooner you’re free.”

“No,” Milena screamed, her survival instinct kicking in. “I don’t want to die. I want to live.”

Cameron let out a cold laugh. “What’s the point of staying alive? So you can sit around dreaming about the next time you’ll get a chance to hurt me or Brad? Milena, do you really think you’ll ever get another shot?”

Milena kept scrambling backward on the floor, her body dragging along as she shouted, “Cameron, murder is illegal.”

Milena was desperately hoping the law would be enough to hold Cameron back.

“Kill you? Please, I wouldn’t stoop so low. I don’t want to dirty my hands,” Cameron said, glancing up at the rooftop’s 360-degree surveillance cameras that missed nothing. A mocking smile played on her lips.

Milena immediately tried to scramble to her feet and run.

But then she heard Cameron’s icy voice again. “But death is way too easy for you. For the rest of your miserable life, you’ll suffer so much you’ll wish you were dead.”

‘What does she mean?’ Milena thought, panic rising. ‘Is Cameron planning to deal with me in secret? I couldn’t just sit here and wait to die.

As soon as she heard Cameron’s words, Milena’s anger exploded. I couldn’t just sit here and wait to die.

“You bitch,” Milena shouted. Like a madwoman, Milena threw herself at Cameron, screaming, “If I’m going down, I’m taking you with me.”

‘If I’m just going to be tortured by Cameron in prison, I might as well finish her off right now and be done with it,’ Milena thought, her mind twisted with desperation.

Her fury was so overwhelming that, for a moment, she completely forgot she was no match for Cameron.

Fueled by rage, Milena charged at Cameron with reckless speed, not caring about anything else.

Cameron dashed toward the edge of the rooftop, trying to get away from Milena’s relentless pursuit. Wherever Cameron ran, Milena was right on her heels.

When Cameron reached the edge, she suddenly swerved and sidestepped to the side. But Milena, unable to stop herself, barreled straight through the railing.

“Ah-” Mitena’s scream tore through the air.

Cameron stood motionless, her face utterly cold as she watched Milena fall right before her eyes. She didn’t move, didn’t flinch. Only after a few seconds did she finally turn and walk away.

Meanwhile, Bradley had just finished arranging accommodations for the Saunders family when he ran into Camilla and the others.

Camilla looked surprised. “Brad, what are you doing here? Didn’t you say you were going to meet up with Cam?”

?????/p>

“Cam? I didn’t make any plans with her,” Bradley said, looking confused. “Where is she?”

“She’s on the top floor,” Camilla replied, and she immediately had a bad feeling about this.

The group was just about to head up to the rooftop to check things out. There was a sudden, thunderous bang from outside the lobby.

“What happened out there?” someone called out.

There was a sudden, thunderous bang from outside the lobby.

“Come on, let’s go see what’s going on,” someone urged.

In an instant, everyone surged toward the entrance.

Of course, Bradley and Camilla went along as well.

Seconds later, wave after wave of screams broke out, echoing through the crowd.

“Oh my God. Someone jumped. It’s a woman.”

“Jesus, her brains are splattered everywhere. Her whole body’s in pieces. This is freaking horrifying.”
