Filed to story: That Campus Prince Is a Girl
He’d plan the whole wedding himself.
After the engagement party, the Yates family, playing the perfect hosts, planned to take the Saunders family out to explore Viremont and have some fun for a few days before heading back home.
Bradley went to arrange accommodations for the Saunders family.
Cameron was hanging out with Bradley’s sister and the others when a waiter stopped her.
“Are you Ms. Yates?” he asked.
“Yeah, that’s me.” Cameron nodded.
The waiter said, “Your friend asked you to head up to the hotel rooftop right now.”
‘The rooftop?’ Cameron frowned, confused.
She was just about to ask which friend it was when Eric said, “Could it be that Brad’s waiting for you on the rooftop with a surprise?”
“Probably.” Cameron’s lips curled into a smile. “I’ll go take a look.”
“Cam, let me go with you,” Camilla said.
“Come on, Cami, don’t be a third wheel,” Eric teased.
So, Cameron headed up to the rooftop alone. When she reached the rooftop, Cameron looked around for Bradley, but instead caught sight of a woman standing there.
The woman stood with her back to Cameron, dressed in a hospital gown, her messy hair fluttering in the breeze.
Cameron frowned slightly. Just then, the door behind her was suddenly locked from the outside.
Cameron’s expression darkened. She immediately realized this wasn’t Bradley who asked her here at all-someone was setting her up.
She turned her gaze back to the woman standing on the rooftop.
“Who are you?” Cameron asked, her voice icy.
The woman slowly turned around at the sound of her voice.
Cameron immediately recognized her, “Milena?”
It really was Milena. After months in lockup, she looked gaunt, her cheekbones putting out sharply.
“Oh, Cam, long time no see.” Milena sieered, her voice laced with mockery.
Cameron’s face stayed blank. “Aren’t you supposed to be locked up? How did you get out?”
Milena fixed Cameron with a cold, mocking smile. “Cameron, I heard today’s the big day-you and Bradley, officially engaged.
“Se i injured myself on purpose, forced the guards to send me to the hospital, and waited for my chance to slip away. When I found out you were celebrating here, how could I not show up?”
Cameron immediately pulled out her phone. “Alright then, time to send you back where you belong.”
But Milena suddenly snapped, lunging at her, snatching the phone right out of Cameron’s hand and flinging it off the rooftop.
This was the 38th floor-no need to even look, that phone was already smashed to pieces.
“Call the cops?” Milena sneered, her face twisted with contempt. “Cameron, who the hell do you think you are? What makes you think you have the right to have me arrested?”
Cameron shrugged, unfazed. “I’m just sending you back where you belong.”
“Where am I supposed to be?” Milena spat, gritting her teeth. She fixed Cameron with a hard, burning stare.
Today, Cameron was wearing a pure white gown, the dress hugging her curves and showing off her graceful silhouette.
Her long hair was swept into a low bun, and her makeup was flawless, highlighting her already perfect features.
Every piece she wore screamed luxury-from the pearl earrings and the gemstone necklace to the bracelet on her wrist, and even the tiny brooch pinned to her dress.
And Milena was standing there in a hospital gown, looking gaunt and like a total mess. The contrast between them couldn’t have been more obvious.
Back then, Milena was the one in the spotlight. Now, everything had flipped.
Just thinking about it made Milena grit her teeth in anger. “Cameron, it’s all your fault I’m like this.”

Cameron remained expressionless in the face of Milena’s baseless accusations,
“Thanks to me?” Cameron’s lips curled into a mocking smirk. “Didn’t you bring all this on yourself?”
“It’s all your fault,” Milena screamed hysterically. “I got expelled from school because of you. And because of you again, I ended up in the detention center.”
Her long hair was a wild, tangled mess. She looked just like a madwoman.
Cameron’s sarcasm deepened. “Oh, I ruined your life? Was it I who made you steal my designs and enter them in the competition? Or was it me who forced you to hire someone to hit Bradley with a car?”
Milena was left speechless by her retort. Even though Cameron was telling the truth, Milena was still seething with resentment and unwilling to back down.
‘Why her? Why does she get everything?’ Milena fumed inwardly, her heart burning with resentment.
For all those years in the Wallace family, Milena always had Cameron under her heel.
Milena was the apple of Martin and Heidi’s eye, while Cameron was nothing more than a nobody.
Now, Milena had lost it all and was even locked up like a criminal.
Meanwhile, Cameron had become a brilliant scientist, making groundbreaking contributions to humanity.
In just a matter of years, the tables had completely turned.
Milena simply couldn’t accept this reality.
That was why Milena tried to run Bradley over with a car-so Cameron would spend the rest of her life drowning in the pain of losing the one she loved.
But Milena never imagined Bradley would survive, and she’d be the one thrown behind bars instead.
Thinking about all this, Milena broke down and screamed, “Cameron, if I have to suffer, you’ll suffer too.”
Cameron remained expressionless. “So, what are you planning to do?”
Milena gritted her teeth. “I want you dead.”
Cameron scoffed, “Even if I die, will that really change anything for you?”
Milena suddenly burst into a maniacal laugh. “You think I’m afraid of dying? I already hired someone to run Bradley over.
“There’s no way I’m escaping prison. If I’m going to rot in jail, I’d rather just die. Hell, I might as well add another life to my record. What do I have to be afraid of when I’ve got nothing left?”
Cameron instantly saw through Milena’s intentions. She was ready to drag everyone down with her.
Cameron replied coolly, “Milena, you’re not even in my league.”
“Is that so?” Milena shot back, pulling ? fruit knife she’d hidden from her pocket.
Milena had gone through all that trouble to break out of the detention center, and this fruit knife was all she managed to get.
After all, they were both just girls. But with a blade in her hand, Milena was sure Cameron didn’t stand a chance.
Cameron glanced at the little fruit knife, barely four inches long, in Milena’s hand and let out a laugh she couldn’t hold back.
“What the hell are you laughing at?” Milena shot her a vicious glare.
Cameron’s smile vanished as she started moving toward Milena, step by step.
Cameron looked so unfazed that Milena, clutching the fruit knife, found herself backing away without even realizing it.
“Why are you backing off? Weren’t you just about to kill me?” Cameron’s voice was icy.
Milena hesitated for a split second, then gripped the knife tightly and lunged at Cameron with everything she had. But Cameron simply lifted her foot and lightly kicked Milena’s wrist.
Milena cried out in pain, her grip loosening as the fruit knife clattered to the floor.
Cameron bent down, picked up the knife, and snapped it clean in two with both hands before tossing the broken pieces aside.
“You-” Milena stared in utter disbelief at what she was seeing.
Cameron had just snapped the fruit knife in half with her bare hands. ‘How does she have that kind of strength?’ Milena thought, her mind reeling.
“Milena, is that really all you can do? And you actually thought you could kill me? How naive,” Cameron sneered, her face full of scorn.
