Chapter 460 – She Is The Campus Prince Novel Free Online By Alyssa Fox

Filed to story: That Campus Prince Is a Girl

Bradley couldn’t help but laugh. “Guess Gavin won’t have to get lectured anymore.”

Cameron slowly popped a shrimp into her mouth. “Not so fast.”

“What do you mean?” Bradley asked.

Cameron replied, “Now that Gavin’s got a girlfriend, the next thing my parents will do is start bugging him about having kids: It’s not easy being the eldest son.”

Bradley’s lips curved into a slight smile. “I’m not in a rush.”

“What?” Cameron looked confused.

Bradley said, “I’m not in a hurry to have kids.”

Cameron was speechless.

Bradley chuckled, “But if you want kids, Cam, I’m all for it.”

Cameron was at a loss for words for a moment. ‘Kids? That just feels way too far off,’ she thought. ‘Honestly, I’ve never even thought about that before.’

After a brief pause, Cameron said, “Mr. Saunders, we’re not even engaged yet. Isn’t this a bit out of order?”

Bradley’s face softened with a fond smile. “Alright, we’ll do things by the book, step by step.”

Meanwhile, Gavin and Britney had just finished ordering their food.

Britney turned to Gavin. “Why didn’t you explain just now?”

Gavin asked, “Explain what?”

Britney said, “That we’re not in that kind of relationship yet.”

Gavin repeated, “That kind of relationship?”

Britney clarified, “Like boyfriend and girlfriend.”

Gavin replied with a calm confidence, “It’s only a matter of time. There’s really nothing to explain.”

Britney was completely at a loss for words.

Gavin’s response caught Britney off guard, and a wry smile tugged at her lips. “You’re that confident?”

Gavin fixed his deep gaze on her. “Britney, you don’t hate me, do you?”

It wasn’t that Gavin was full of himself-his confidence all came from the way Britney treated him.

Women were emotional by nature. One could always tell if a woman liked or hated someone just by the way she acted around them.

The first time they met, she agreed to go home with him. At the very least, that meant she didn’t dislike him. And later, she was the one who kissed him first.

Sure, Britney was heartbroken and acted on impulse back then, but if she didn’t feel something for him, she never would’ve made a move.

At his words, Britney almost blurted out, “Of course not.”

She definitely didn’t hate him. If anything, she knew it deep down. If she did, she wouldn’t be sitting here right r now.

A faint smile played at the corners of Gavin’s lips as he tapped his long fingers on the table. “So, how far along are we now?”

Britney blinked. “About what?”

Gavin leaned back, looking relaxed. “How far I’ve gotten in chasing you.”

Britney was left speechless. ‘He’s actually keeping track of his progress in chasing me?’ she thought. ‘We’re actually keeping track of progress now?’

Honestly, she’d never heard anyone put it that way before. It was oddly amusing.

Seeing her stay quiet, Gavin raised an eyebrow. “One percent?”

Britney laughed, “Weren’t you just all confident a second ago?”

Gavin chuckled, “I’m confident I’ll win you over, but as for when that’ll happen, who knows?”

Britney lowered her gaze, a faint smile playing in her eyes.

Gavin teaned in a little closer. “Can you give me a progress bar so that I have a clue?”

Upon feeling the seriousness in his tone, Britney’s smile faded. She looked at him deeply and said, “I’m sorry, Gavin, but right now-

“One percent,” Gavin cut her off. “Let’s just say it’s one percent for now.”

She pursed her lips a little.

“The food here is actually pretty good. Give it a try,” Gavin said, smoothly changing the subject as he used the public table Britney some food.

“Thanks,” Britney said.

All in all, the meal turned out to be pretty enjoyable.

By the time they finished, Cameron and Bradley had just wrapped up their meal, too. e to serve

Cameron linked her arm with Bradley’s and walked over, waving at Britney before turning to Gavin, “Gavin, are you coming back with UST

Gavin shook his head. “I need to take Britney home.”

Britney quickly interjected, “You don’t have to. I can just grab a cab.”

Bradley grinned, “Alright, we’ll leave you two to it.” He took Cameron by the hand and led her away.

After that, Gavin kept asking Britney out to eat every now and then. Sometimes she’d go, sometimes she’d turn him down.

Every day, he’d have a bouquet of flowers delivered to the hotel where Britney worked.

Pretty soon, everyone just took it for granted that Britney had a new boyfriend. She didn’t bother to deny it, but she never admitted it, either.

There was no denying that Gavin was a great guy. But her last relationship had really left her pretty scarred. She just wasn’t ready to dive into something new so soon.

Time flew by, and soon it was the day of Cameron and Bradley’s official engagement.

The Saunders family of Steerfall and the Yates family of Viremont were both major families, and even though Cameron wanted to keep things low-key, there were just too many eyes on them.

It was nearly impossible for them to stay out of the spotlight.

The engagement ceremony was held at the most prestigious hotel owned by the Yates family, but only close friends and relatives from both families were invited.

At the engagement ceremony, both families’ faces were lit up with radiant smiles.

Bradley slipped the ring that Eric had specially designed for him onto Cameron’s ring finger.

He leaned in close to her ear and whispered, “Cam, tonight, I can finally stay in your room, out in the open.”

Cameron held his slender fingers tightly and gave him a brilliant smile in return.

Cameron said openly, “Congratulations. You got what you wanted.”

Bradley dipped his head and gave her a quick kiss on the lips.

Lance teased, “Brad, I don’t think kissing the bride-to-be is part of the engagement ceremony.”

Bradley replied with a straight face, “Just claiming my privileges in advance.”

Everyone burst into laughter. They gave their blessing to their love.

After the engagement party, Camilla pulled Cameron aside.

Camilla looked mysterious. “Cam, I’ve got an engagement gift for you and Brad.”

Cameron, with her perfectly done makeup, smiled, “Thanks, that’s really thoughtful of you.”

Camilla winked playfully. “Cam, can you guess what it is?”

Cameron chuckled, “That’s a tough one.”

Today, Cameron and Bradley were officially engaged, and everyone in the Saunders family, including Osborne’s three kids, who were still in kindergarten, had carefully prepared gifts for them.

They’d all checked in with each other to make sure no two gifts were the same. The presents were a dazzling array.

Cameron honestly had no clue what Camilla might have picked out for her.

Camilla wasn’t really expecting her to guess. She grinned and held out her palm to Cameron-resting in it was a small, dark brown glass bottle.
