Chapter 432 – She Is The Campus Prince Novel Free Online By Alyssa Fox

Posted on August 29, 2025 by thisisterrisun

Filed to story: That Campus Prince Is a Girl

David said quickly, “There’s a woman at the building entrance right now, crying over her dead son. She’s claiming her son had leukemia and was supposed to live another year, but after taking our drug, he died in just three days. She’s making a huge scene, demanding answers.

“Ms. Yates, whatever you do, don’t come out right now! The entrance is swarming with reporters. If you show up, they’ll tear you apart,” David said worriedly.

This wasn’t running away.

This was just playing it smart.

They still had no idea what was really going on.

If Cameron showed up now, she’d just be a punching bag for everyone’s anger.

David knew Cameron was talented, but she was still in her twenties, and spent all her time buried in research, hardly ever dealing with people. There was no way she could handle this situation.

After hearing David out, Cameron pretty much figured out what was going on.

Cameron said calmly, “David, don’t panic. Send all the security guards over to keep things under control. I’ll be there in a few minutes.”

As she spoke, Cameron grabbed Bradley by the hand and hurried out the door.

Even though Cameron didn’t have her phone on speaker, Bradley could tell from the look on her face that something serious was going down.

He immediately followed right after her.

David shouted, “No! Ms. Yates, you can’t go over there right now!”

Cameron said firmly, “David, I know you’re worried about me, but this is about a life – I can’t just sit back and do nothing.”

She continued, “I’m not only the one who developed the leukemia drug, I’m also the boss of Aurevia Biotech. I have to step up and face this!”

As she said this, Cameron was already getting into the car.

Bradley jumped into the driver’s seat.

David hesitated and said, “But…”

“David,” David was still trying to dissuade her, but Cameron cut him off firmly. “Please, just follow my instructions.”

David sighed, “Fine.”

Since they had to face this, they’d face it together.

The car pulled up to the building entrance in no time.

Cameron unbuckled her seatbelt and was about to get out.

Bradley grabbed her arm.

Cameron turned to look at him.

Bradley said, “Cam, don’t be scared. I’ve got your back.”

Cameron shook her head. “Brad, please, don’t get mixed up in this. Just stay in the car, okay? Promise me you won’t get out.”

Bradley shook his head. “Cam, that’s not possible. Look, as Aurevia Biotech’s legal advisor, there’s no way I can just sit back when something this big is happening.

“And on a personal note, you’re my girlfriend. I’d never let you face those people alone.”

“Brad…” Cameron shook her head.

“Cam, I’m not letting you go in there alone,” Bradley insisted.

Cameron stared at him for a few seconds, then finally gave in.

Now, she couldn’t afford to worry about anything else.

Cameron pushed open the car door and got out.

“Look, it’s Cameron!”

“Cameron!”

Reporters armed with cameras and mics swarmed toward her at lightning speed.

The reporters instantly swarmed around Cameron, boxing her in from all sides.

Bradley shouldered his way through the crowd, pushing people back and keeping Cameron safely behind him.

“Ms. Yates, how do you respond to claims that your leukemia drug killed someone?”

“Ms. Yates, that child was only six years old – so full of life. Don’t you think this makes you basically a murderer?” “Ms. Yates-“

The reporters fired off questions one after another, each sharper and more aggressive than the last, leaving Cameron speechless.

Bradley’s handsome face was as cold as ice as he raised his hand to push away the microphones that were practically shoved into Cameron’s mouth.

His eyes behind the gold-rimmed glasses glinted with a chilling light as he fixed his gaze on one of the reporters. “First of all, jumping to conclusions before the facts are clear is incredibly foolish. As Cameron’s attorney, I can sue you for defaming her character.”

–

“Second, what do you mean by ‘basically a murderer’? You reporters, carelessly slapping on labels like that isn’t that a kind of murder, too?”

The reporters’ questions were sharp, but Bradley’s retort was even sharper.

For a moment, the reporters were silent.

But then, the middle-aged woman suddenly lunged at Cameron like a madwoman.

“Cameron! You owe me for my son! I had him late in life, nearly died giving birth to him, and it took everything I had to raise him to six years old. You killed him- now you should pay with your life for my son!”

Of course, she never got anywhere near Cameron.

Before she could reach her, Bradley stepped in, pushing the woman away and shielding Cameron behind him.

The company’s security guards quickly arrived, restraining the woman and separating her from the reporters.

“Ms. Yates,” David rushed over.

David really didn’t want Cameron to show up here at all.

‘She’s still so young – how could she possibly deal with such a situation?’ he thought worriedly.

Cameron’s beautiful face was unreadable as she walked straight toward the stretcher lying on the ground.

She crouched down.

“Don’t touch my son! Cameron, you murderer! Don’t you dare touch my son! I’ll tear you apart!” the restrained woman screamed hysterically.

Cameron acted as if she didn’t hear a thing. She pinched the corner of the white sheet between her fingers. “Forgive me.”

With that, she lifted the sheet.

All eyes immediately snapped to this side.

Lying on the stretcher was a little boy, around six years old.

His face was very pale, a sickly white.

Cameron’s fingers instinctively reached for the boy’s carotid artery, checking for his pulse.

She felt that his whole body was ice-cold, but his carotid pulse was still faintly beating.

Cameron’s eyes narrowed slightly.

“No! Cameron, you murderer! Don’t touch my son!” the woman yelled,

Cameron turned and gave the woman a frosty glare.

“Mr. Tucker, call the police right now. Someone’s deliberately trying to blackmail us and smear Aurevia Biotech’s name,” she said.

The middle-aged woman was stunned.

She had been struggling like a madwoman, but at Cameron’s words, she froze for a moment. Then, just a few seconds later, she started thrashing even harder, screaming, “Cameron! You murderer! You killed my son!”

Cameron sneered, “Ma’am, your son isn’t dead. How much did they pay you to come stir up trouble on my turf?”

The middle-aged woman fell silent.

Her pupils shrank, and after a long pause, she shouted, “You’re talking nonsense! My son is dead! He died because of your damn so-called miracle drug! You owe me for my son!”
