It was an unfamiliar number.
After a moment’s hesitation, Cameron picked up.

“Cam, it’s me,” the man said.
His voice was both familiar and strange.
And it had been ages since anyone talked to her like that.

The man on the other and said again, “Cam, it’s Austin. Long time no see. Can we meet up?”

They had parted ways on pretty bad terms back then.
