It was an unfamiliar number.
After a moment’s hesitation, Cameron picked up.
“Hello? Who’s this?”
“Cam, it’s me,” the man said.
His voice was both familiar and strange.
And it had been ages since anyone talked to her like that.
Cameron fell silent.
The man on the other and said again, “Cam, it’s Austin. Long time no see. Can we meet up?”
Cameron never expected Austin to reach out to her again.
They had parted ways on pretty bad terms back then.
She thought he’d never show up in her life again.
When Cameron still didn’t say anything, Austin added, “Cam, I don’t have any ulterior motives. I just want to see you. I don’t have any inappropriate feelings for you anymore.”
Back then, he’d totally misunderstood Cameron’s kindness.
He’d totally misread Cameron’s feelings and thought she liked him romantically, which ended up ruining any chance they had at being friends.
Now, he just wanted to be friends.
After a long pause, Cameron finally asked, “Austin, where are you right now?”
Austin replied, “I’m downstairs from your company.
Cameron said, “I’ll be right back.”
The cafe was only about a 10-minute drive away from Aurevia Biotech.
Cameron drove straight to the company’s underground parking lot.
“Cam’s st there?” the man asked.
Amelia answered, “She just left.”
“Alight, 1 come pick you up the man said.
I want for you,” Amelia said.
She hung up the phone, her face glowing with happiness
If she’d known talling in love would be this much fun, she wouldn’t have stayed single for so long.
When Cameron walked out of the caf?, her checks had finally cooled off
Her phone started ringing in her pocket.
It was an unfamiliar number

The call was only about a 10-minute drive away from Aurevia Biotech
Cameron drove straight to the company’s underground parking lot.
Then she took the elevator upstairs.
As soon as she stepped out of the lobby, she spotted the Rolls Royce parked right in front of the building
Austin had been watching the trance the whole time, and as soon as he saw Cameron, he inmediately opened the car door and got out,
He had on a pair of sunglasses.
After all, he was a celebrity now.
Cameron was wearing a sky blue denim skirt.
She was tall and had a graceful figure, and with that gorgeous face, she was impossible to miss in a crowd.
“Cam” Austin gave her a big enthusiastic wave
Cameron spotted Austin right away.
He still had that signature short blond hair, and with that crisp white suit, he looked every bit the picture of elegance.
Just as Cameron was about to head over to Austin, she suddenly caught sight of Bradley, who had just stepped out of the car
Bradley was holding a bouquet of white roses.
He was making it clear just how serious he was about winning Cameron’s heart.
Every day, when driving Cameron to work, he’d bring her a different bouquet-blue roses yesterday, white roses today, never the same flowers twice.
Cameron stopped in her tracks.
“Cam!” Bradley called out, waving to her.
Austin turned to glance at the man behind him.
Even seven or eight years ago, Bradley was already the most mature and reliable one in their group. Now, that was even more obvious.
He radiated that irresistible, grown-man appeal.
“Brad,” Austin said, taking off his sunglasses and flashing a smile that highlighted his striking features.
Bradley, carrying flowers for Cameron, was surprised.
He didn’t expect that someone abruptly called his name
He turned and saw Austin.
Of course, Bradley had seen the news about Austin’s retur
But he never thought Austin would actually show up for Cameron.
Bradley gave a slight nod. “Austin, long time no se
Austin flashed a smile. “Brad, you here for Camoo?”
