Filed to story: That Campus Prince Is a Girl

Bradley: Cam, are you asleep?]

Cameron replied: (Brad, I just saw your message. Are you still up?

Bradley responded almost instantly. Not yet

Cameron: Can’t sleep in a new bed?]

It was almost eleven now.

Aber everything that happened tonight, Bradley must be tired

Cameron was definitely feeling worn out

She was planning to take a shower and then crash for the night.

Bradley: No, it’s just that being at your place for the first time, I’m too excited

Cameron couldn’t help but laugh, and replied. Are you really that excited you can’t sleep?

Bradley: Cam, dees your family think I’m your boyfriend!

Cameron: || already explained it to them.]

Her family had grilled Bradley like they were running a background check on him, so no wonder he’d get that idea.

Bradley: Honestly, you don’t have to explain. I really do want to be your boyfriend]

Cameron quietly stared at the message, unable to stop the smile bugging at her lips.

Cameron: Brad, it’s really late. I’m going to bed now. Goodnight

Bradley could tell Cameron was dodging his words on purpose.

But he wasn’t in any hurry.

After all, he’d already met her family tonight.

It seemed like everyone except Gavin was pretty satisfied with him.

He’d just take it slow.

She’d say yes eventually.

Bradley had confidence in himself.

The next morning

Bradley woke up early.

To his surprise, Gavin was up even earlier.

“Good moming, Gavin, Bradley said politely

Gavin was sitting on the couch, shooting Bradley a sideways glance. “I’d prefer it if you called me Mr. Yates. You’re not anyone special to Cam, are you?”

Last night, Gavin had truly been moved by Cameron’s words.

Even so, he wasn’t about to let Bradley marty Cameron that easily.

The harder something was to get the more nne would valurit

Bradley smiled, “Not yet, but it won’t be long.”

Gavin gave him a half-simile, “You’re really that confident?”

Bradley uttered, “Gavin, it’s Cam who gives me all my confidence.”

Gavin was a bit annoyed by his words.

“Gavin! Mr. Saunders, you guys are up early?” Lance had just come downstairs too.

Bradley turned around. “Morning, Lance. If you don’t mind, you can call me Brad

Lance patted Bradley on the shoulder. “Alright, I’ll call you Brad then

“Anyway, we’re all going to be family sooner or later, so there’s really nothing to fuss about, he thought.

Bradley smiled, “Alright”

It looked like Lance had already accepted him.

Gavin shot Lance a look, and then turned to Bradley. “The rain’s stopped. You can head out now.”

Bradley just smiled and made himself comfortable on the couch. “Gavin, I know should go, but I’m going to wait for your parents and Cam to wake up. so I can say goodbye to them first.”

Gavin frowned slightly.

No wonder Bradley was a lawyer.

With just a few measured words, he made his case with perfect composure and logic, leaving Gavin looking utterly unreasonable by contrast

Gavin stood up, shot Bradley a look of disdain, and muttered, “You’re such an eyesore.”

And with that, he just walked out.

Morning exercise was good for him anyway.

Lance p patted Bradley on the shoulder and said, “Don’t mind him, Brad. He’s just worried you’ll take Cam away, so he’s acting all grumpy.

“And honestly, he’s actually a good guy!”

Bradley said, “Lance, I understand how he feels. Back then, my own brother also couldn’t stand mys sister’s husband in every possible way”

Lance raised an eyebrow. “Good to hear you got it.”

A moment later, Cameron was downstairs.

“Morning, Cam,” Lance said,

“Morning, Cam,” Bradley echoed.

“Morning, Lance, Brad Cameron said, sitting down across from them.

Lance stood up. “I’m going to get some fish alc

And with that, he walked out.

Now, it was just Cameron and Bradley left in the living room.

Bradley grinned and uttered, “Cam, It looks like Lance is playing matchmaker and giving us some alone time

Cameron didn’t bite, instead asking. “Did you sleep well last night? You got caught in the rain. Are you feeling alright this morning? You didn’t catch a cold or anything, did you?”

Bradley felt Cameron’s concem, and his smile grew even wider.

However, he was still a bit puzzled.

“Cam, why do you keep dodging my questions??

“Doll” cameron-shifted in her seat, playing it cool.

Bradley nodded. “You totally do

Cameron looked at him earnestly. “Brad, you don’t remember anything from seven years ago, so we’ve only really known each other for a little over a month. How do you expect me to answer you?”

Bradley sighed, “Cam, affection isn’t measured in hours and days”

Cameron was quiet for a second, before she said, “But you can’t just take it lightly, either.”

Bradley chuckled, “Then what about people who get hitched in a flash?”

Cameron replied, “That’s their business, not mine.

Bradley y was rendered speechless. en ten years watfor

He gazed at her, his eyes full of sincerity. “Cam, I can wait as long as you need. Three months, six months, a year, three years, even you, no matter how long it takes

Cameron’s heart skipped a beat when she heard that
