Eric grinned. “So, Brad. What do you think of my suggestion?”
Bradley shot back, “Eric, are you the one wanting a girlfriend?”
Eric dodged the question. “Cameron’s so good-looking and smart. I’m sure there’ll be tons of girls after him.”
Bradley stayed silent, but he unconsciously squeezed his shirt in his hand, leaving a crease.
Eddie laughed, “Cam’s great at everything, but he’s just a bit on the short side. But hey, good things come in small packages, and I’m sure he won’t be lacking girls in his life.”
Bradley snapped his suitcase shut. “You two, get out now. I’m going to sleep.”
Eddie straightened up. “You haven’t even finished packing your clothes. Why are you sleeping already?”
Bradley just stared at him coldly.
Eddie blinked, backed off, and said with a theatrical yawn, “Fine, fine. I get the hint. I’m out. Goodnight, Brad.”
Eric walked over, patted Bradley on the shoulder, and said meaningfully, “Brad, don’t forget what you told me in Fiora.”
With that, Eric turned and left, leaving Bradley crouching in his room alone. After a moment, he slowly stood up, his promise to Eric in Fiora slowly coming back to him.
He’d told Eric that he absolutely didn’t have any feelings for Cameron that he shouldn’t have.
But then, why did he get so annoyed when Eric and Eddie were talking about introducing Cameron to girls? Bradley had no idea what he was upset about.
After all, he thought it was normal for boys their age to be dating, and Cameron was just another boy.
But he didn’t know why he was feeling upset. Then, it hit him. He thought, ‘Could it be that I actually like him? No!’
Chapter $76
Bradley tried to convince himself that he was a normal teenage boy and liked gifts, just like all the other boys.
Even though he was an adult now, Bradley had never actually had a real crush on any girl.
His thoughts were a tangled mess. He sank into the couch, picked tip his phone, and nearly texted Cameron without thinking However he p midway, not knowing what he could say to her.
He put the phone back down and decided he needed to meet Cameron in person. But with college starting tomorrow, he’d have to wait before the could hang out again.
The next morning, Levi, Jacqueline, Gavin, and Lan house Levi had bought for Cameron. were all with her as they boarded the Yates family’s private helicopter. They then drove to the
Levi and Jacqueline stayed to help Cameron unpack and clean up.
Levi wanted to hire a cleaning service, but Jacqueline insisted on doing it herself. She just wanted to do something for Cameron, so Levi stayed to help.

Gavin canted Cameron’s quilt while Lance followed behind with her smaller essentials kettle, bucket, washbasin, towel and whatnot.
Cameron walked ahead, completely empty handed, with both brothers trailing behind like her personal moving crew.
The campus entrance was packed with new students and their parents for registration, but the three of them still managed to stand out.
For one, they were all tall, and on top of that, ridiculously good-looking. Three striking “pretty boys” walking together were impossible to miss. They were turning heads everywhere they went.
“Cameron!” a voice called out.
Xander had parked outside the campus since early morning, basically staking out the entrance. The second he spotted Cameron, he opened his car door and hurried over.
He’d spent the whole ride over imagining how stunning she’d look, and he was sure she’d be dressed to impress.
But the moment he actually saw her, he felt a little disappointed. Cameron wore a gray T-shirt, off-white cropped pants, and plain white sneakers.
Her short hair and minimal effort gave off a clean, androgynous vibe. From a distance, she could easily be mistaken for a handsome guy.
She wasn’t even wearing a skirt. Seriously, she had no idea how gorgeous she would look in a dress.
He thought, ‘Is she really planning to keep this tomboy look the whole way through college?’
As he rushed toward her, Xander noticed the two guys standing on either side of her.
Both were already sizing him up, but Gavin gave off that older-brother energy. He was straight-up scanning Xander like he had X-ray vision.
Xander, decked out in top-tier designer brands, wore limited-edition sneakers and a luxury watch on his right wrist that screamed money.
Gavin quickly caught on that this guy was clearly from a wealthy family.
Xander wondered, ‘Wait, what’s his relationship with Cam? Don’t tell me he’s her boyfriend?’
Gavin’s face instantly turned solemn. He stared straight at Xander and asked, “Who are you?”
Xander immediately flashed a big smile at Gavin. “Hey, man. I’m Xander Murphy, Cameron’s roommate from high school.”
Noticing Gavin checking him out, Xander actually felt a little smug inside. He’d intentionally picked out this outfit today, just to show that he was wealthy in front of Cameron’s family.
The clothes and shoes were his usual style, but he wore the watch on purpose.
He liked sports, and wearing a watch was inconvenient, so he usually didn’t bother with one.
“Roommates?” Gavin stared at Xander, who was grinning like a clueless rich kid.
Gavin couldn’t believe they were roommates before this because Cameron was a girl.
Lance was just as shocked. “Wait, you’re saying you and Cam were roommates in high school?”
Xander nodded. “Yeah.”
Cameron had no words. The next second, she held her forehead and said, “Can you please stop making trouble for me?”
Xander looked aggrieved. “How am I making trouble for you?”
Kander had Barely finished seeking when someone grabbed him by the collar it was Gavin, of cour
By now Gavin’s expression had turned completely solemn.
Brow-what are you doing? Xander st?mmered, totally confused.
Afraid to piss Gavin eft, he didn’t even dare to struggle. He just raised his hands in surrender.
“Shut up. Who are you calling your brother?” Gavin snapped, the veins on his forehead throbbing.
Xander was left speechless, thinking, ‘Man, he’s got a serious temper. Cameron’s brother is scary as hell What did I even do to make him mad?
“Did I hear you right? You just said you and Cam shared the same dorm back in high school?” Gavin gritted his teeth.
Xander nodded.
Gavin pressed, “Do you even know that she’s a girl?”
Xander nodded again, and his response floored Gavin. If Xander had known, how could he have allowed Cameron to stay in the guy’s dorm? That was just nuts.
Lance shot Xander a fierce glare. “You’re a guy and she’s a girl. How could you two possibly share a dorm? Was your school out of its mind?”
She was dressed like a guy,” Xander pretested. “I swear, I had no idea she was a girl at first.”
The two brothers had actually forgotten that Cameron was pretending to be a boy.
They had been so focused on the fact that she and Xander shared a dorm, they’d completely blanked on the context. Their protective instincts had just kicked in hard.
“Gavin, let go,” Cameron said, coming over to pull him away.
Xander immediately ducked behind Cameron. “Cameron, your brother’s way too scary.”
Cameron had no words.
“Stay away from my sister,” Gavin warned.
Xander thought, ‘Stay away from her? How much farther can I get? There are only about four inches of distance between us.
Gavin narrowed his eyes. “Aside from being roommates, was there anything else going on between you two?”
“No,” Cameron answered for Xander.
Both Gavin and Lance let out a sigh of relief. Their little sister had just come back into their lives. They’d lose it if some random guy started hitting on her now.
Xander denied it. “There was.”
Even Cameron didn’t know where he was going with it, so she turned to look at Xander, wondering, ‘What’s he up to now?’
