Chapter 324 – She Is The Campus Prince Novel Free Online By Alyssa Fox

Filed to story: That Campus Prince Is a Girl

They deserve all the terrible things in this world.

Helen was completely stunned. She thought Cameron would say something funny, but it turned out to be so tragic.

Cameron had gone through so much, but fortunately, she had reunited with her real family.

Sensing the heavy mood, Cameron said, “Dad, Mom, Logan, don’t worry about it. Those two will get what’s coming to them.”

Martin and Heidi had lived in luxury their whole lives. Being thrown into jail was already the worst punishment imaginable for people like them.

“Cam…” Jacqueline choked up again.

None of them expected Cameron to be so strong that she was the one comforting them. That only made everyone more protective of her.

They all silently vowed to treat her even better than before from now on.

Even Gavin didn’t mind that she still hadn’t mentioned him again this time. He was too busy seething at what those people had done to his sister. There was no way he was letting this slide.

However, Helen noticed that Cameron really hadn’t mentioned Gavin all day.

But from Helen’s experience, she knew having a brother like Gavin, who doted on her so much, was honestly such a blessing.

Maybe after some time, Cameron would finally acknowledge him.

Meanwhile, Austin sat frozen on the other end of the video call. One second, Cameron said she would block him, and the next, the call was cut off.

He immediately tried to call her back on WhatsApp, but the call wouldn’t go through, no matter what.

Austin couldn’t believe that Cameron actually meant what she said, and she acted fast.

Unwilling to give up, Austin tried calling her phone number, only to realize that his number had also been blocked.

His face turned grim as he thought, ‘She actually blocked me? When I asked if she liked Brad earlier, she didn’t answer either. She didn’t even deny it.

‘So, does that mean she does like Bradley? Does Bradley really think he can take Cameron away from me?’

“Vincent!” Austin shouted for him.

“Yes, Mr. Fraser?” Vincent immediately stepped into the office.

Austin ordered, “Find out which law firm Bradley works at, and acquire it for me.”

“Bradley?” Vincent echoed.

“Is there a problem?” Austin asked.

“Mr. Fraser, may I ask why you’re doing this?” Vincent asked.

Vincent had already done some research on Austin’s roommates. Aside from Cameron, all his roommates came from powerful families, and they weren’t the kind of people anyone could afford to cross.

“What for? I just want to buy the law firm and kick Bradley out. Do I need your approval?” Austin snapped.

Austin thought, ‘So Cameron really likes Bradley? What does she even see in him?’

Austin was set to ruin Bradley’s image in Cameron’s eyes piece by piece, until she had no choice but to come back to him.

Vincent guessed it right.

He hesitated for a moment, then tried to reason with Austin. “Mr. Fraser, maybe going after Bradley isn’t the best move. He’s got the Saunders family backing him-“

“Shut up!” Austin cut him off sharply. “I don’t care who’s backing him. Just do what I say.”

Austin couldn’t care less about offending Bradley or the entire Saunders family. In this world, Cameron was all that mattered to him.

If he lost Cameron, what was the point of all this wealth and power?

He even wished he was still that nobody in the Fraser family because at least back then, Cameron would quietly stay by his side.

But there was no going back. Now he had the status, resources, and more than enough power. If anyone was in a position to protect Cameron, it was him, and he wouldn’t allow anyone to take her away.

“Got it, Mr. Fraser.” Vincent nodded respectfully.

Still, as he turned to leave, he couldn’t help but sigh to himself, ‘Is it my imagination, or had Mr. Fraser really changed? He’s becoming more and more of a stranger to me.’

Two days later, Bradley was sitting in his office at Viremont Global Law Firm when someone tapped him on the shoulder. “Brad.”

Bradley looked up. “Jackson.”

Jackson looked worried. “Brad, someone wants to acquire our firm.”

Bradley paused, clearly surprised. He pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses and asked, “Who is it?”

Jackson said, “I did some digging. Turns out, the person behind this is your old roommate, Austin, the current CEO of Fraser Group.”

Bradley was genuinely surprised. “Austin?”

Jackson nodded. “Yeah, it’s him. He suddenly inherited a huge fortune overseas, and after coming back, he took over Fraser Group.”

The leadership shake-up at Fraser Group had made headlines not long ago, and most people knew about it.

“They’re trying to keep things quiet by using another law firm as a front. On the surface, it looks like a routine merger, but I poked around a little more.” Jackson gave Bradley a long, meaningful look. “You know what this is really about?”

“It’s about me,” Bradley said flatly. He said it as a statement, not a question, because he already knew the answer.

A few days ago, he and Austin had a heated argument over Cameron. The look in Austin’s eyes back then hadn’t been friendly.

However, Bradley never expected Austin to take things so far and even came after his job.

“You two were roommates for three years. What happened?” Jackson asked, clearly baffled. “Did you really piss him off that bad?”

“Three years…” Bradley muttered.

Yeah, technically, it was three years. But honestly, except for the last three months, Austin stayed out because he was sick most of the time. So no, they’d never really been that close.

Bradley glanced at Jackson. “So what exactly does he want?”

Jackson said, “To kick you out.”

Bradley chuckled, thinking, ‘He wants to kick me out, huh?’

On paper, Bradley didn’t technically work at the firm.

In order to be a partner, he had to be a certified lawyer, which he wasn’t at the time because he was still in high school. Just like Cameron, he managed the firm behind the scenes.

Jackson said, “You’re laughing? Why don’t you go have a word with your old roommate?”

Bradley replied, “Jackson, you’re forgetting that this firm has nothing to do with me. How’s he supposed to kick me out?”

“Oh, right!” Jackson smacked his forehead. “Look at how forgetful I am. That totally slipped my mind.”

Bradley asked, “What’s Samuel been up to lately?”

Jackson asked, “Samuel? You mean Austin’s brother?”

Bradley nodded slowly. “Yeah. If Austin has enough time on his hands to pull crap like this… maybe it’s time I give him something else to keep him busy.”

By evening, neon lights flickered along the street.

Bradley sat in a private room in the cafe, watching the hurried crowds outside through the window.

Sitting across Bradley, Samuel asked impatiently, “Who are you? What do you want with me?”

He was wearing a wrinkled black shirt, and the confidence that used to radiate from his face had all but disappeared. Now, he just looked tired and beaten down.

Austin had stolen the Fraser family’s business through dirty tricks, leaving them broke.

Samuel had been forced to get a job just to keep food on the table for himself and his aging parents. There was no way he would let them work at their age.

Just two months ago, he was on top of the world. Now, he’d gotten a harsh taste of how brutal life could be.

Finally, Bradley looked at Samuel, sizing him up through his gold-rimmed glasses.

He didn’t bother with small talk and got straight to the point. “Samuel, do you want to get Fraser Group back?”

“What did you just say?” Samuel’s impatience vanished, replaced by shock. And beneath that shock, there was even a glimmer of hope.

Bradley said, “I think you should get Fraser Group back. It’s your and your father’s life’s work.”

It was like Samuel had finally found someone who understood him. He launched into a tirade, cursing Austin for being a bastard who stole everything from them.
