Chapter 318 – She Is The Campus Prince Novel Free Online By Alyssa Fox

Filed to story: That Campus Prince Is a Girl

Cameron nodded. “Logan, just trust me. I really am a

Lance said, “But you don’t act like one at all.”

Cameron said nothing. She just thought, ‘So I pulled off the disguise better than I thought.’

No one ever suspected her, not even once. And whenever she told someone the truth, they would always be in total disbelief.

“You’re actually a girl!” Gavin was practically shouting, completely lit up. “I have a sister. I finally have a sister!”

But Cameron didn’t even look his way. Their parents crowded around to check Cameron’s ID, and sure enough, the ID card confirmed her gender as female.

Even with proof in front of them, it was hard to wrap their heads around it. For 18 years, they thought they had another son. And now, just like that, they had a daughter.

Of course, it didn’t change how they felt about her. Boy or girl, she was their child either way. It was just wild to realize that they’d actually had a daughter all along!

Back when Jacqueline was pregnant, she and Levi had hoped for a daughter. With two boys already, it felt like the missing piece in their family.

Most parents dream of having both sons and daughters. They just never expected that dream would come true so many years later.

“Cam…” Jacqueline didn’t even think twice about Cameron being a clean freak anymore. She pulled her into a tight hug, heart aching at the thought of all the pain her daughter must have suffered. “You’re finally home with me.”

From now on, she was determined to make it up to Cameron and give her all the love she missed.

Cameron gently hugged her back. “Mom, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.”

Jacqueline shook her head, her eyes brimming with tears. “Don’t apologize, Cam. It’s me who let you down and made you suffer so much all these years…”

Cameron softly patted her back. “Mom, it’s all in the past now.”

Her days with the Wallace family had truly been a living hell, but that was all behind her now. And none of it was her mother’s fault, as she was a victim too.

Levi, on the other hand, was momentarily stunned. He couldn’t believe that he had a daughter now.

Every father secretly dreamed of having a daughter/and Levi was no exception.

He never imagined his son would turn out to be his daughter. He was so happy, he could barely think straight.

Cameron spent quite a while comforting Jacqueline before she finally calmed down.

When Cameron helped Jacqueline sit on the sofa, Levi finally snapped out of his daze. A huge smile spread across his face as he asked, “Cam, can Daddy hug you too?”

Levi would remember two moments as the happiest of his life. One was the day he married Jacqueline, and this moment right now.

He looked at Cameron, both hopeful and a little nervous.

She paused, a little surprised by Levi’s request, then nodded.

Levi’s face softened. He stepped forward and gently wrapped his arms around her, ruffling her hair as he said, “I finally have a daughter. You’re my sweet, precious girl.”

He was so tender in that moment, it was almost hard to believe he was the same strict, stoic man his two sons had always known.

Cameron stayed there in his arms, leaning into the embrace. He was tall, and his cologne was subtle but calming. For the first time in a long time, she felt safe.

And for a moment, without meaning to, her mind drifted to Milena. She remembered how jealous she used to be of her, which hurt.

Because Milena was the one Martin adored, she could snuggle into his arms or perch on his lap, playing sweet and coy while he looked at her the the was his whole world.

But little Cameron could only stand off to the side, watching with envy. She never knew what it felt like to be held by her father, and now, she was finally feeling it.

It turned out that a father’s embrace was warm and safe.

All the emptiness from her childhood was filled in an instant, right at the moment when Levi hugged her and gently ruffled her hair.

A soft mist welled up in her eyes, and without thinking, she held onto Levi’s shirt.

She finally had parents who loved her. For the first time, she was someone’s daughter in every sense of the word. And it felt… wonderful

Jacqueline watched the father and daughter hugging, smiling through her tears, feeling happier than ever.

For a moment there, they actually looked more like father and son.

After holding on for a while, Levi finally let go of Cameron, clearly reluctant. After all, his daughter was all grown up now, and as her father, he had to keep his distance.

“Cam, come here. Let your brother get a hug too,” Lance said, already stretching out his arms.

Cameron laughed and gave him a quick hug.

“Wait a moment. I still don’t know what it’s like to hug my little sister,” Lance said, refusing to let go.

Cameron patted him hard on the back. “You feel that? Logan, I’m not some soft little girl who likes pink color, you know.”

Lance coughed, feeling like his lungs were about to be knocked loose.

Cameron let go, still smiling. “Logan, you’re kind of weak, huh?”

Lance was rendered speechless.

Levi shook his head. “Lance, seriously? My precious daughter gave you a gentle pat and you’re out here coughing like she knocked the wind out of you?”

Jacqueline chimed in, “Logan, you really need to work out more. Cam’s a girl, you know.”

Lance had no words. He just thought, ‘If only they knew her hand hits harder than a sledgehammer.’

As soon as Cameron let go of Lance, Gavin rushed over with open arms. “Cam, can I get a hug too?”

Cameron shot him a look. “No.”

Gavin was stunned. “What?”

He couldn’t believe he got rejected when everyone else got a hug from Cameron.

Gavin stared at Cameron in disbelief. “Why not?”

“I don’t want to,” Cameron said bluntly.

Gavin was stunned. He stood there, completely frozen.

Meanwhile, Levi, Jacqueline, and Lance all looked a bit surprised.

But thinking about how Gavin had acted since Cameron came back, her turning him down actually made sense.

Jacqueline gently pulled Cameron close, clearly siding with her. “Sweetheart, if you don’t want to hug him, that’s perfectly fine. We’ll just ignore him.”

Levi glared at Gavin. “Why are you still standing here? Can’t you see my precious girl doesn’t want to see you?”

Lance chimed in, “Gavin, aren’t you super busy? You even went on a business trip when Cam came home. Go get back to work and earn your precious money.”

Right now, there was just no way to describe the look on Gavin’s face.

He had managed to piss off his godsent sister right off the bat. However, he knew Cameron didn’t want anything to do with him right now, so he decided to step out for the time being.

Even though Cameron had brushed him off, Gavin still beamed at her. “Cam, since you don’t want to talk to me right now, I’ll get out of your hair.”

Cameron just stared at him in silence.

Gavin kept smiling. “Good night, Cam.”

Still, Cameron said nothing.

Gavin added, “Bye, Cam.”

Cameron finally looked away from him. With that, Gavin left the living room, clearly reluctant to go.

As soon as he stepped out, Gavin fished out his phone, pulled up his contacts, and dialed someone.

“Good evening, Mr. Yates. Is there something you need?” the person on the other end asked.

Gavin had called his assistant, Wesley Carter.

“I have a sister!” Gavin cut Wesley off, his voice practically buzzing with excitement.

Wesley was taken aback by this sudden announcement, but he said, “Mr. Yates, I know you have a sister…”

“Not my cousin, but my actual, biological sister from the same parents,” Gavin explained.

Wesley was stunned. “Wait, Mr. Yates. Did your mother give birth to a girl tonight?”

Jacqueline was stunning and impressively well-kept for her age, but she definitely wasn’t young anymore. Gavin himself was already 25 years old, after all.
