Chapter 265 – She Is The Campus Prince Novel Free Online By Alyssa Fox

Posted on August 29, 2025 by thisisterrisun

Filed to story: That Campus Prince Is a Girl

The summer rain came down hard and fast.

Cameron caught a taxi from her office and returned to Noble Vista. She sheltered under the community gate to wait for Amelia, who arrived about ten minutes later.

A bodyguard held a large black umbrella and opened the rear door of a Porsche. Amelia slowly stooped to step out of the car

She wore a black off-the-shoulder maxi dress, her waist length hair falling lazily down her back. The dress was long, revealing only a small dives of her calves, and she had on a pair of strappy heeled sandals.

Her flawless features were enhanced by a polished makeup look. In terms of temperament, figure, and appearance, she was truly top-notch

The moment Cameron saw Amelia, she was amazed. The title of “campus beauty” was indeed well-deserved.

Amelia gracefully took the umbrella from the bodyguard and walked toward Cameron, only to see Cameron staring at her intently. Amelia was stunned and immediately took a half-step back in caution.

Cameron came back to herself and smiled, “Let’s go. Brad has been waiting for a while.”

Amelia followed behind Cameron, keeping a three-foot distance,

Cameron couldn’t help but laugh, “Ms. Chapman, please, I really have no interest in you right now, but you do look beautiful today.”

Amelia was at a loss for words, wondering, ‘He said he had no interest but complimented my beauty? What’s he up to?”

In the end, Amelia still quickened her pace in high heels to catch up with Cameron.

At that moment, it was still raining, and Cameron, who didn’t have an umbrella, ran while taking shelter from the rain. “Ms. Chapman, this way, follow me.”

The road was full of rainwater, and Amelia stepped into some that splashed up to her calves. She frowned and increased her speed to keep up with

Cameron.

Cameron ran into Bradley’s villa and raised her hand to shake off the water from her clothes and hair.

Hearing the noise, Bradley stood up and saw her messy appearance. “How did you get so wet?” He had said he would pick her up.

Bradley helplessly went to the bathroom to get a towel for Cameron.

Amelia arrived at the villa door with a nervous heart. Her fingers gently tightened around the umbrella handle as she looked up to examine the luxuri villa.

She wondered, ‘Does Bradley live here? Is he living here alone? Or with his family?’

Amelia held a gift box in her other hand-a present she’d brought for Bradley. She’d forgotten to ask Cameron.

What if there are other people here? How rude it would be to bring only one gift?’ she thought. But she was already there.

Taking a deep breath, Amelia finally stepped into the villa.

Bradley came out with a dry towel and stopped short at the sight of Amelia standing behind Cameron.

Bradley was stunned. He wondered, ‘So this is Cameron’s friend? The surprise?’ Talk about a shock.

His expression remained neutral as he walked over to Cameron and handed her the towel. “Dry off first. You can go home to change later.”

Cameron took the towel. “Thanks.”

Bradley turned to Amelia with polite composure. “Amelia, please come in.”

Amelia had been nervous, expecting anger or at least a frosty welcome. To her surprise, Bradley smiled and invited her in. She still felt stiff.

“Guests are always welcome,” he said. “Come in.”

Cameron looked back. “Ms. Chapman, please come in.”

Amelia placed her gift on the table.

“You didn’t need to do that,” Bradley said. “It’s enough that you’re here.”

“Just a small gift. I hope you like it,” Amelia replied.

Bradley gave a slight nod. “Have a seat, Amelia.”

Amelia sat down opposite Bradley. “Brad…” She wanted to ask if he lived there alone.

“Cameron,” Bradley and Amelia spoke at the same time. He cut her off, glancing at Amelia before continuing, “Cameron, you should go back to your place to change. You’ll get sick if you stay wet.”

Cameron replied, “It’s such a trek. I’ll just use a hairdryer.”

“The hairdryer’s broken,” Bradley said flatly.

Cameron paused. She thought, ‘It’s broken, or is he just trying to send me away? Right, I’m the awkward third wheel here!

She set down the towel. “Fine, Brad. Ms. Chapman, you two talk. I’ll go change.”

Amelia asked curiously, “Cameron, do you live here too?”

Cameron nodded. “Yeah, in the villa over there. If you’re hungry, don’t wait for me.”

Bradley added, “Go ahead. We’ll wait.”

Cameron took the hint and left. The living room was now empty except for Bradley and Amelia.

The smile faded from Bradley’s face instantly.

Amelia felt uneasy, but with just the two of them alone, she was both nervous and thrilled. ‘Today, I’m taking a risk,’ she thought.

Bradley was clueless about romance. Maybe she could drop subtle hints that she liked him. But confessing outright? She couldn’t do that. ‘He has to be the one to say it first,’ she thought.

She looked up at Bradley, startled by his stony expression. ‘Is he mad?’ she wondered. He’d seemed friendly earlier. Why the sudden chill?

‘I’m probably overthinking,’ she thought.

Smiling, she asked the question she’d held back. “Bradley, do you live here by yourself?”

Bradley sat on the sofa, face still blank. Instead of answering, he asked coldly, “Amelia, did you reach out to Cameron and ask him to bring you here?”

Amelia stared at him, shocked. He used her full name. He’d always called her “Amelia”. So she hadn’t imagined it. He was angry that she’d shown up uninvited?

He’d held his tongue when Cameron was around, but now that they were alone, he didn’t bother to hide it.

“Amelia,” Bradley said, “I always thought you were a girl who knew boundaries and had pride. What’s with this behavior today?

“I’ve turned you down multiple times. Wasn’t that clear enough? Do you still have these misplaced feelings for me?”

Bradley’s voice was ice-cold, He was usually so polished and gentle. This kind of harshness was rare.

But he truly resented Amelia’s actions today. He’d told her he was abroad. He’d rejected her, yet there she was, showing up at his home through Cameron. There was no point in sugarcoating it anymore.

Amelia stared at him in shock, her eyes filling with tears instantly. No one had ever spoken to her so harshly in her life.

She never thought such words would come from Bradley and that they’d be aimed at her. ‘What does he mean?’ she wondered.

Her voice trembling, she asked, “Bradley, do you really hate me?”

His expression didn’t soften. “Amelia, if you keep pushing like this, I will end up hating you. Let me spell it out-I don’t like you

Bradley was sharp enough to have seen through Amelia’s feelings ages ago. He’d stayed quiet to save her pride, thinking she’d take the hint and give up But her uninvited visit had crossed a line. It was time to be blunt.

Amelia’s eyes went wide in shock. ‘Pushing? When have I ever pushed? He doesn’t like me? Is this a rejection? How did he figure out my feelings? s thought.

The confession she’d never dared make had just been thrown back in her face. She felt as violated and humiliated as if she’d been stripped bare.

Tears poured down her beautiful face, staining her cheeks. Her pride lay crushed at his feet.

Shaking with anger, she hissed, “Bradley, you’ve gone too farl”

“Too far?” Bradley stood up, his expression turning even colder. “Amelia, as classmates, I tried to spare your feelings out of respect. Now I see no point. I want you to get out of my house right now and never appear in front of me again.”

“Or…” A cruel glint crossed Bradley’s handsome face. “I’ll post about you confessing to me at my house in the class group chat.”

Amelia froze, staring at him in shock. She couldn’t believe those words really came from Bradley. He’d always been so refined, gentle, and polite. ‘How could he speak so harshly? Is this a threat? Is this how a gentleman acts?’ she thought.

As much as she refused to believe it, the truth stared her in the face. Clenching her teeth, Amelia said, “Bradley, I was wrong about you. You don’t deserve my feelings at all!”

With that, she turned and ran out, forgetting her umbrella. ‘This isn’t the Bradley I thought I knew. The Bradley I liked would never behave like this,’ she thought. Or maybe she’d never really known him, only seen his good side.

Right now, Bradley didn’t just make her dislike him-he scared her. She actually found him terrifying. She no longer liked him.

After Amelia fled, Bradley emotionlessly carried the gift box she’d brought outside and tossed it into the trash.

Back in the living room, he messaged Cameron: [Why’s changing clothes taking so long? I’m starving.]
