When Yael let go of Beata again, she had already collapsed onto him completely.
Beata felt that what she had written about kissing in her novels before was really inadequate.
Although she was still inexperienced at this kind of thing now, since she wasn’t good at it yet but how much did she enjoy it! She loved everything about when Yael kissed her.
After cuddling for a while longer, Beata finally remembered the most important thing.
“I haven’t eaten any cake yet,” Beata frowned slightly after delaying for so long; wondering if it would affect its taste or not?
Yael bent his lips down again, letting Beate sit on the chair directly opposite him.
He gave Beate a spoon which could be used directly for eating cake but despite this fact; however,
Beata wanted some ceremony involved in cutting the cake instead.
So he went back into kitchen once more, bringing back a knife, allowing Beata cut up their shared piece of cake into two halves.
When they cut open their slice of cake together, she discovered an unexpected surprise inside:
oatmeal!
Yael had combined two types of cakes which he knew were her favorites.
Before tasting its flavor though, Beata’s eyes started getting red because how much effort Yael put into making sure everything would be perfect for her tonight..
“Go ahead try some first,” Yael encouraged gently after seeing how emotional Beata looked now due all these sweet gestures from him tonight.
Beata nodded her head as she scooped a spoonful of cake into her mouth, savoring the fusion of her two favorite flavors.
Her eyes glistened with tears as she reached out to Yael and tightly hugged his neck when he leaned down.
“Why are you doing this to me? Trying to make me cry,” Beata said.
Yael hooked his arm around Beata’s waist and replied, “I’ve never had a girlfriend before. There’s still so much I need to learn. You can teach me.”
Beata sniffled but managed not to cry.
“Just spoil me,” Beata said. “If you spoil me too much, I’ll be even more dependent on you. You’ll never be able to get rid of me.”
Yael lifted Beata onto his lap again and said, “If you don’t cling onto me, I’ll cling onto you for life.”
Beata chuckled and kissed Yael lightly on the lips before turning back to focus on eating the cake.
After finishing her half of the cake, Beata looked over at Yael’s half and asked if he was going to eat it too.
“You can have it all if you want,” Yael replied generously.
But Beata insisted on feeding him a piece with a spoon in hand. “It’s my birthday cake after all! I only shared it with you today so you have to take a bite!”
Yael smiled as he ate the cake from her hand. It was delicious despite ruining several attempts earlier in baking it right.
“I really like it,” Beata grinned at him through teary eyes. “Thank you.”
Beata announced on her social feed that she was in a relationship, and it had caused quite a stir.
Not to mention those who already had a crush on Beata, even the gambling game that Eden did before had been completely messed up.
Eden said, “Damn it, can it work? The little sister is angry because we didn’t play with her? She found such a boyfriend on purpose?”
River said, “Can’t you use your brain normally?”
Eden said, “How am I abnormal? This is the most normal way of thinking, okay? You have such a big heart. How old is your sister and she’s already dating, and you’re not even keeping an eye on her?”
River said, “Just because she’s young doesn’t mean she’s incapable of loving someone. Does she still suppress her feelings for me even though she likes someone?”
Eden was speechless. He didn’t know if it was because of the progress of the times and the liberation of thoughts, or because he was getting old and couldn’t keep up with the pace of young people. How come all parents nowadays were so easy to talk to?
He just didn’t believe that if Beata really had a child, River could still be so generous.
However, River didn’t care and no one else can either.
After much discussion among everyone, it was ultimately decided to add Beata.
Maybe she was young now, but in two or three years, she might actually have a baby earlier than others.
When Beata saw that the gambling game had been improved, she had already finished eating birthday cake with Yael. However, she didn’t want to go home and begged Yael to watch a movie with her.
When Yael was preparing the movie, Beata took out her phone and looked at it for a while.
This was ridiculous and speechless.
Although she was very active in dating, when it came to getting married and having children, she was not as enthusiastic.
She believed that Yael wouldn’t be so inhuman.
Beata handed her phone to Yael and complained, “Do I really look like someone who is always causing trouble?”
Although she was young, she also knew what she can and cannot do.
Was it a bit too much to think about having a baby right now?
Yael said, “They may not trust me.”
Upon hearing this, Beata stared at Yael for a while and then burst out laughing.
She put her phone aside and said, “Yeah, just because I’m not in a hurry doesn’t mean you’re not in a hurry.”
After all, Yael was twelve years older than her, so she cannot just think from her own perspective.
Beata looked at Yael and said, “Yael, do you really like children?”
“Just okay.” Yael said.
He himself had not experienced a good childhood, nor did he think that he can take good care of a child, and he may feel very helpless when encountering a child.
But if it was a child between him and Beata…
Yael had not thought about this question before, but when Beata asked it, he took a moment to consider it.
Something strange slipped through his heart, but Yael still couldn’t tell whether his strangeness came from the child who would be his and Beata’s, or from the fact that he just wanted to get a kind of possessiveness from Beata.
Yael said, “I’m not in a hurry. When the time is right, these things will happen naturally. There’s no need to think about them now.”
Beata smiled and said, “That’s true. There’s no way you can consider having a child right now. I can’t give birth for you yet.”
Yael chuckled and picked up Beata, placing her on his lap.
He said, “Do you think I am too inhuman?”
Beata shook her head and said, “I like you.”
Therefore, anything was appropriate.
He could do whatever he wanted to do.
Yael put his lips on Beata’s ear and said, “Beata, don’t seduce me until you’re twenty. I’m really not a good person.”
Upon hearing Yael’s words, Beata couldn’t help but swallow her saliva.
Sometimes, Beata really felt that Yael was too straightforward. Just like now, he expressed all his thoughts in a straightforward manner.
Twenty years old seemed to be the most reasonable time for Beata to enjoy a romantic relationship without thinking too much. However, for Beata, such a time limit may be too rigid.
She was not such a conservative person and always believed that if two people’s feelings had reached that level, why not be more straightforward? Why set limits?
But since Yael said so now, Beata didn’t say anything else. Anyway, it was uncertain whether he will really wait until she was twenty years old or not. The future should be left to the future.
In Yael’s arms with a comfortable posture, Beata said, “Let’s watch a movie. Is this movie good?”
“I haven’t watched it,” Yael said.
Beata looked at him in confusion and asked, “Then how did you get the DVD?”
“When I passed by before, I saw it and bought it,” Yael replied.
Beata didn’t ask any further questions because everyone had their own preferences. Maybe collecting
DVDs was just one of Yael’s hobbies.
Although she was now his girlfriend, of course there were some things that did not need to be dug up from the roots.
The movie began playing; it was an obscure film with some depressing plot lines.
Yael didn’t know what kind of content the film had beforehand but after watching for awhile, he asked if they should continue watching or stop.
It was obvious that this movie made Beate uncomfortable on her birthday but she still nodded and said,
“I still want to watch it. Don’t you think it’s pretty good?”
Although very depressing, the plotline was actually quite good.
Yael wasn’t even paying attention to the film; he had been focused on observing Beata all along but he didn’t disturb her either ??if she wanted to watch, then let her focus on watching.
As soon as Beata lifted her head, she met Yael’s gaze which had been focused on herself. She paused the movie directly, and turned around facing Yael directly while sitting down opposite him.
She asked, “Why are you looking at me like this? Am I better looking than the movie?”
Yael curved his lips and said, “Yes, even better than the movie.”
Beata chuckled to herself, realizing that she really enjoyed Yael’s serious demeanor when speaking about these things.
Reaching out to embrace Yael’s waist, Beata said, “Then why don’t you kiss me?”
In such a good atmosphere, not kissing would be a waste.
