Kelvin reached out and touched Casey’s head, saying, “I’ll go with you. Let’s go.”

Casey was confused and stunned at the same time.

Did she have no pride?

Without hesitation, Casey turned around with the box in her arms and rushed into the restroom. She even locked the door tightly behind her.

Everyone had gathered outside of the restroom.

Casey had locked herself inside, leaving everyone outside feeling anxious.

Patrick hugged Aimee’s waist and asked, “Are you sure?”

“It’s highly likely,” Aimee replied.

“But we won’t know for sure until Casey takes the test.”

Patrick looked up at Kelvin.

Although Casey and Kelvin had already gotten married long ago, even if their child was already crawling around on all fours by now, Patrick still felt complicated emotions about it all.

Out of all four siblings in their family, he was closest to Casey, because they were closer in age than anyone else.

It seemed like just yesterday that little girl who called him “Patrick” was by his side. Now she’d become a wife and mother herself. Time really flied quickly!

Kelvin didn’t notice Patrick’s mood at all. His heart was full of concern for what might be happening behind that locked door with his wife inside.

Camdyn followed closely behind them while being supported by Riley.

He shouted towards Casey anxiously from outside, “Don’t panic too much! Take your time! We’re waiting for you!”

Inside the bathroom, Casey felt like she was going to collapse under pressure.

She wasn’t feeling well after throwing up earlier without warning.

And now Aimee gave her this thing which made everything feel so confusing.

To make matters worse, Kelvin insisted on taking this pregnancy test together with her!

How could this be possible?

Sitting on top of toilet seat, Casy carefully studied how to use this thing, but when there was no sensation, it can not be forced either.

As time passed by, Casey became more and more anxious. She couldn’t feel anything and was wondering how to test it.

To make matters worse, her beloved grandfather was outside telling her not to be nervous. She wasn’t even nervous until her grandfather shouted at her, making her even more anxious.

She had been in the bathroom for half an hour when she finally felt something and decided to take the test.

Then she was shocked by the result right in front of her eyes – she was really pregnant.

Casey stood there stunned in the bathroom for a moment before letting out a scream that scared everyone outside.

“Ahhhhhhh!”

Kelvin almost broke down the door trying to get inside as he heard Casey’s scream from outside.

He took one step back as soon as he saw Casey open the door from inside.

Casey looked dazed with red eyes staring straight at Kelvin without blinking for a while before finally opening up both arms and wrapping them around Kelvin’s neck.

“Kelvin, we’re having a baby! We’re going to be parents!” exclaimed Casey excitedly.

She jumped up on Kelvin’s body with all four limbs hanging on him tightly after being stunned just now.

Now she was extremely excited about this news!

Her sudden jump startled everyone around them who let out an exclamation of surprise, but luckily,

Kelvin held onto Casey firmly so that she wouldn’t hurt herself or anyone else nearby with such sudden movements.

Aimee and Patrick came out of the room just as Miles and Matilda returned together.

Seeing that they had come from a room on the first floor, Miles asked curiously, “Why did you move downstairs?”

Aimee explained Camdyn’s plan to Matilda and then looked at her belly, saying, “You must be close too.”

Matilda replied with a sigh, “I’m not in a hurry. You know I feel like I’m in a fight every day now.”

Aimee couldn’t help but say with helplessness, “I thought you entered the entertainment industry just for fun. Why are you so addicted now?”

Matilda replied firmly, “Since I’m here anyway, I have to make something of myself.”

Aimee wasn’t worried about anything else except for Matilda’s erratic thinking. One day she would think one thing and the next day another.

“I think you should be more careful,” Aimee said. “If there are no plans for babies in the short term, then take precautions. If you suddenly get pregnant while filming, it will be a big problem.”

Matilda nodded and added, “And I guarantee that once Miles finds out about my pregnancy, he’ll take me away from set without giving me any chance to protest.”

Aimee laughed, “That’s good. He can control you.”

But this comment made Matilda unhappy because it sounded like she was being controlled by Miles.

This wouldn’t do. Family status was important to her after all.

Miles and Patrick glanced at each other, not understanding what these two women were talking about with their strange small talk.

Casey leaned over, putting her chin on both Matilda’s and Aimee’s shoulders while squeezing herself between them.

The two of them were at a loss as to what to do with her, so they gave her a position where she could hold hands with them.

Casey looked to her left and then to her right before settling her gaze back on Matilda’s face.

“Matilda, when are you planning on having a baby with Miles? If you’re pregnant now too, the three of us can all be happy together.”

If Matilda hadn’t been sure that Camdyn hadn’t given her any order, she would have thought she was being forced into pregnancy.

Just thinking about the picture Casey had painted made Matilda’s scalp tingle.

Imagine if Aimee had two babies in her belly and Casey had one. And if she got pregnant, the Hayden family would suddenly have at least four little ones running around. Just thinking about it was enough to scare Matilda.

“I think I’ll focus on my career first,” said Matilda. “I’ll have children later.”

At least when Aimee and Casey’s children were older, maybe they could take care of their little ones for them.

Casey felt a bit regretful after hearing what Matilda said. “I was hoping we could all get pregnant and have babies together. It would be so lively.”

“Don’t think too much,” said Aimee. “You might feel excited now but when the time comes, you might be overwhelmed.”

As a doctor herself, she knew how to take care of newborns well but being a mother herself meant there were physical and emotional challenges that couldn’t easily be predicted or prepared for.

She was worried about not doing well enough if it ever came down to it.

As Aimee’s belly grew bigger and the weather turned cooler, she still wandered around wearing a short-sleeved T-shirt.

Sometimes Casey couldn’t help but ask her, “Aimee, aren’t you cold at all?”

“Not really,” Aimee replied. She saw that Casey had already put on long clothes and even wanted to wear a sweater. She chuckled and said, “Turn off your air conditioner or don’t set it so low, then you won’t be cold.”

Casey pouted and said, “No way! I’m used to having air conditioning. It’s more comfortable.”

Aimee sighed and warned her, “You should take care of yourself more since you’re pregnant. Don’t get sick by being reckless.”

Casey shrugged it off and said confidently, “It’s okay since both you and Kelvin are here. I trust your medical skills.”

Aimee was speechless for a moment and didn’t know how to deal with Casey.

“Well then go ahead with your recklessness now,” Aimee said jokingly. “When I give birth later on, you’ll only have your husband to bother with.”

Casey leaned in closer as she placed her hand on Aimee’s growing belly. She teased her, “Aimee, why is it that only your stomach is getting bigger? Why not the limbs too?”

She envied how slender Aimee still looked despite carrying twins.

“It’s not like my belly has grown much either,” explained Aimee.”It just looks big because there are two babies in there.”

If there was only one baby inside of her womb, then it wouldn’t look as large.

Casey was almost jealous at this point. She looked down at herself trying to compare the size of their arms while asking pitifully, “Aimee, I think I’ve gained weight too… Look at my arms! They’ve gotten thicker, haven’t they?”

With a sad expression on her face, she continued, “Do you think I’ll end up weighing two hundred pounds by the time?”

“How is that possible?” Aimee chuckled, finding it hard to believe that Casey, with her petite frame, could gain twenty pounds.

“You’re just scaring yourself,” Aimee reassured her. “Your body type isn’t prone to gaining weight. Plus, you don’t eat much anyway. It’s probably just the clothes you’re wearing.”

Casey tugged at her puffy sleeves and realized she was indeed wearing too many.

After a moment of silence, Casey decided to control herself and not indulge in food just because Aimee said she wouldn’t gain weight.

“I still need to be careful though,” Casey admitted. “I can’t let myself get fat.”

Aimee ignored her childish words and sat down beside her.

“It’s crazy how time flies,” Casey mused sadly. “Before we know it, you’ll be giving birth.”

“Are you getting pre-birth jitters?” Aimee teased.

“Nope,” Casey replied quickly. “Just talking nonsense.”

Aimee placed a hand on Casey’s shoulder and said gently, “If there’s anything on your mind or bothering you, talk to us about it instead of keeping it inside.”

Casey tended to overthink things which wasn’t ideal for a pregnant woman as anxiety could escalate if left unchecked.

If she started panicking now, the situation would only worsen later on after childbirth, leading possibly even postpartum depression which would be troublesome for everyone involved.
