When Lauren woke up the following day, she was escorted home by Jeremy.
Although Sophia wasn’t happy with it, she dared not say anything in front of Javier, given Jeremy’s imposing presence.
As for Betty, she didn’t even dare to utter a single word. After all, she was responsible for pranking Lauren.

“Lauren rarely leaves the house, so how can her teddy bear end up at ACE?”
Landon forcefully set his teacup down and glared icily at Betty. “Betty, there’s a limit to making fun of people. You crossed that line with your actions last night.”
Betty’s face turned pale in an instant. Her heart raced as though it might burst from her chest.
