Paul leaned against the headboard, sneering, “I hope that Sullivan guy is really dead.”
“I suggest you better not think that way,” Danika advised.
Even if Leonard had an accident, even if it was eventually discovered that Paul wasn’t involved, Stephanie might still not believe it.

“He’s at the hospital,” Danika said to her.

Stephanie understood what Danika meant but chose to shake her head.

“Danika, do you have any leads on Leonard?”
Stephanie interrupted her, not wanting to hear anything about Paul.
Danika was helpless and stopped mentioning him.

Stephanie knew that Danika was talking about her going to see Paul.
Usually, she wouldn’t j even want to see him, but after something happened to Leonard, she didn’t give a damn.
“I thought that you and Leonard were just infatuated with each other.It turns out you like him more than I think,” Danika exclaimed.
She didn’t even know what else to say.
Stephanie was exasperated.
“I didn’t think I’d like him so much, either.But now, I’m incredibly worried about him.I can’t even explain what I’m feeling.”
“I know.”
Danika understood because she felt that way about Eustace, too.
Maybe this was love.
“When are you planning to marry him, Danika?” Stephanie suddenly asked.
Danika was stunned by the sudden question.
She looked at Stephanie doubtfully, not sure why she would ask that.
Stephanie smiled in embarrassment.
“I just think that after this whole fiasco, we should treasure the people around us more.Marriage is one way to show that.”
People could break up anytime when they were dating, and although people could still divorce after marriage, it was different.
“So? Are you telling me that you want to marry Leonard?”
Danika widened her eyes.
Shock could not even begin to describe how she felt.
Stephanie blushed embarrassedly.
“Kind of.”

“You can marry him whenever you want.You don’t have to wait for us,” Danika said.
