Brandon laughed, not mad at her response at all.
”So, you treated my feelings for you so carelessly because nothing really happened between us.Is that what you mean? Jolene, you strung me along and dumped me just like that.What do you take me for?”
Although he had ulterior motives when he approached Jolene, the fact that she tricked him was undeniable.He might be taken as a pushover if he didn’t fight back.
Jolene felt a little guilty and tried to justify herself.
“I didn’t trick you on purpose.I kind of liked you before, but then I met James and realized what love is.You can’t blame me for that.”
“Do you still take me as a fool?”
Brandon stared at her, thinking she was a cheap slut compared to Danika.

“Really? Would you want to marry James if it weren’t for the Windsors being superior to my family? Don’t pretend to be driven by love when you’re just after the money and status.”
Brandon wasn’t a fool.He could see through her intentions.
Having been called out, Jolene found no point in denying it anymore.
“You’re right.If I wasn’t a Zellweger, would you want to marry me? In the end, we’re the same.Don’t act as if you’re more honorable than me.”
She bit the bullet and talked back to Brandon.She wasn’t fearful, as she was already engaged to James.
Brandon suddenly hugged her tightly and got closer to her.
“I’ve done so much for you, yet you threw yourself into someone else’s arms so easily.Aren’t you being too heartless?”
“w-what are you doing?”
Jolene was getting nervous.
“What do you think?”
Brandon sneered, reaching out to yank at Jolene’s clothes.
Now, Jolene was really frightened by his behavior.She quickly apologized, “Brandon, I was wrong.I’m sorry.Can you…can you please let me go?”
She had already gotten engaged to James.
If something happened between her and Brandon, and the Windsors found out, she’d be done for.
As she begged for mercy, Brandon’s laugh grew boisterous.
“Do you feel scared now? Why weren’t you scared when you took me for a fool?”
The more he thought about it, the more he felt like he was made to suffer unjustly.
If he didn’t have his way with Jolene now, he would never be able to make up for all the humiliation he suffered at her hands.
“Brandon, don’t do this…”

Brandon was infuriated that Jolene made it seem like she was the one who suffered the most injustice.

Just as he felt extremely proud of himself, someone suddenly patted him on the shoulder, startling him greatly.
When he turned around and saw that it was Danika, he was even more shocked.
“Since when have you been here?” he asked.
“A while ago,” Danika replied.
“This has nothing to do with you, so go away,” Brandon said, holding onto Jolene with no intention of letting her go, even in Danika’s presence.
Danika glanced at the two of them, and Jolene hung her head, feeling ashamed.
“Brandon, Jolene is my sister.Do you think I’ll leave?”
She didn’t consider Jolene her sister, but she couldn’t let Brandon have his way.
If Jolene was under his control, the Windsors would be in danger.
Brandon frowned.
“When did you ever consider her your sister?”
“That’s none of your business.Let her go, and I’ll pretend nothing happened.Otherwise, don’t blame me for not holding back.”
Danika was confident about dealing with him.
Brandon was a little confused about Danika’s intentions, so he was speechless at her interference.

Brandon was infuriated by her words, so he let go of Jolene and rushed toward Danika instead.
“You Zellwegers are a bunch of thugs! Since you’re so intent on opposing me, neither of you can escape today!”
He decided to deal with Danika first.
Without her interference, he could easily have his way with Jolene.
However, he obviously didn’t know Danika at all.
Before he could come close to touching her, he was kicked so hard that it sent him flying back.
Danika walked over and looked down at him from above.
”Why did you have to provoke me? Did you have a good taste of the pain?”
She didn’t hold back at all; Brandon would feel the pain for at least three months from that kick.
“J-Danika!”
Brandon hated her to his core, but because of the pain in his stomach, he couldn’t even speak clearly.
Faced with his hatred, Danika shrugged indifferently and walked up to Jolene.
“What are you still standing there for? Hurry up and leave.”
“O-oh.”
Jolene snapped out of it and followed Danika out of the restroom.
After they left, Jolene realized belatedly that Danika had just saved her.
Looking at the person walking ahead, Jolene’s emotions were complicated, but she didn’t feel much gratitude.
“Don’t expect any thanks for saving me.”
“Whatever.”
Danika didn’t care.
